If you love corn dogs, this is a place to check out. To me, this is one of the best corn dogs at a theme park so far. They are located on Main Street, next to Plaza Inn restaurant. They do not have their own seating area but you can find seats around the park. I got the hand dipped corn dog. You can choose between a mandarin orange or a small bag of chips as your side. Biggest and best corn dog of your life! These babies are giant and the breading is out of this world. Each dog is around $15 and it'll fill you up! They also have fruit, chips, and drinks. The offer a couple flavors and toppings, but we usually get the classic with some ketchup for dipping. The service is quick and working hard. Oddly enough this is the only place in Disney I haven't experienced friendly service, they are probably just really busy. My family and I visited Disneyland on Saturday June 14th and besides our lunch reservation at Cafe Orleans, I was so looking forward to chowing down on the popular hand dipped corn dog at the Little Red Wagon (LRW) food stall. I'm a foodie, so I read a lot of food review articles and watch social media videos from foodie personalities. I've read and seen many foodies rave about the hand dipped corn dog and it being a Must Eat item at Disneyland. I'm glad I finally got to experience it, but I thought it was just okay. To experience one of the LRW's corn dogs, you'll need to pay for admission to Disneyland. This popular food kiosk is located close to Main Street, it's next to the Plaza Point Holiday Shoppe, and it's across from the Refreshment Center. The LRW is a food stand that is bright red and the corn dogs are prepared inside the back of a classic vintage-looking truck/van. This food stand is very popular as there was a steady flow of customers. If you're interested in buying a corn dog, you'll walk up to a Disneyland employee and place your order. There is an umbrella-covered outdoor seating area adjacent to the stand that is first come, first serve, but be on the lookout for the black crows that lounge in the large trees that are above the seating area. LRW has a simple menu where it only serves hand dipped corn dogs, snacks & sides, and beverages. When you order one of their corn dogs, you get a corn dog and your choice of a Cuties Mandarin Orange or a small bag of chips for $10.59. For their beverages, they sell Coke products and a strawberry lemonade. The highlight for me was their strawberry lemonade, which comes with fresh strawberries. It was refreshing, tasty, and the fresh strawberries were a treat to eat once you finished the drink. To me, the allure of LRW's hand dipped corn dog is the size and the batter that covers the hot dog. My wife thought the corn dog was better than the corn dogs you could buy frozen at Costco. I honestly believe their corn dog would be so much better if it was fresh, which I know logistically would be challenging because of the Disneyland foot traffic. The corn dog was just okay to me, the batter was thick, and it's definitely filling. I'm glad I finally got to try out the popular corn dog from Little Red Wagon. Many Disneyland visitors give the corn dog glowing reviews, but after having experienced it, I'm glad I can check that off of my Disneyland Must Eat food list. read more
