One of the best things Disney has created. Located inside the pixar place hotel, this cafe is very well decorated with tons of seating and tvs showing the pixar shorts on repeat. Service is always outstanding at any Disney property. Was able to order & receive my drink within 5 minutes. No line shockingly but there was a wave that came in after me. Bananas Foster Latte with Almond milk. Best coffee on any disney property. They use real bananas, its absolutely incredible. I'd sell my soul for them to make this a permanent menu item. read more

When my pass is blocked, I get creative about finding new ways (excuses) to be at Disney. This time, I decided to meet a friend to cowork at the Sketch Pad Cafe in Pixar Place Hotel. First of all, the staff here are so friendly. Last time I was here I got a cookie butter latte and the barista accidentally made it with oat instead of almond milk and was so insistent on remaking it (I didn't let her). This time, another barista made me such a cozy London fog! Perfect for my work session. The space is actually pretty nice and quiet to be honest. It's quite far from the hotel check in and elevators so during the day there's not too much commotion happening around here. During the 2-3 hours we spent here, it was just us and a few other unlucky souls who were spending their day at the resort working instead of frolicking. At one point, a staff member came by to say, "You know you're supposed to be having fun, right??" But honestly, anytime I'm at Disney is a fun time, even if I'm heads down in my laptop. Just the ambiance of being so close to the parks is magical (and Bing Bong was nearby to entertain us too). Overall, this is probably one of the best places to work if you're coming to the resort. I've been to the Coffee House at Disneyland Hotel and worked in their lobby as well and this is a much calmer, quieter vibe. WiFi is very fast and there's lots of seating. read more

We swung by after walking around Pixar Pier and saw some yummy cookies in the case and just knew we had to grab some stuff to bring home. I got my Dad an iced Americano and he really liked it. Said it was one of the best coffee's around the resort area. Originally they accidentally made it hot but without flinching caught the error and made an iced one right away. Super nice and had great info and tips of hotel offerings going on for Halloweentime. My Mom got a tea which had some passion tea and a bit of juice which was light and refreshing (especially since it was in the 90's outside). I opted to bring home the Nutella and caramel shortbread cookies. So good, they were thick, buttery, and stuffed with yummy filling but not too heavy surprisingly enough. They were the perfect bites to snack on after running the 5k and 10k. There is plenty of comfy seating and I believe they even have events like bracelet making on occasion. You can sit and enjoy your goodies while watching a variety of Pixar shorts. I was super excited because Bing Bong came out for a visit. We were able to get pictures as well. For a cafe, this location is all ambiance versus a great beverage and food product. I'd prefer to walk to Downtown Disney for Starbucks as its similar price with a better tasting product. The service was friendly, though I did receive the wrong product. I ordered a flat white and received a latte, not really that big of a deal for me. Shrugged it off as my friend said her iced chai was fine, and would just sip while I waited for my breakfast burrito. Sadly, I also received a meat burrito when I ordered just egg & cheese. Thankfully they caught me before I bit in as I try to stay strict to avoiding pork products. Overall, it wasn't the best experience or product. One and done experience for me, and likely return to booking the Disneyland Hotel as I find both the hotel and the coffee shop better. read more

This was our daily stop when staying at the hotel. Their coffee options were great -- a decent variety for being a smaller spot. I tried a few different things, and recommend asking about their seasonal flavors, as these were definitely some of my favorites! I wish there were so more food options, especially more breakfasty options. I had a chocolate croissant one day, which was fine, but there wasn't much. Not the end of the world since we were headed to the parks each day anyway. The service was good and drinks came out pretty quickly depending on business. It has a nice seating area that I was able to get some work done in, but it got quite full during the early morning rush! It was pretty chilly on Friday night and we opted to stop by for some drinks. We stood in line to look over the menu and quickly decided on what we wanted. The cashier wasn't friendly and was definitely ready to go home in which made the interaction a bit awkward. I ordered a small hot London fog tea and my friend ordered a cold hibiscus tea in which she was told that it was no longer available... but it was listed on the menu?... My cousins ordered pastries and my sister had an iced matcha latte. Both drinks ordered were good. My tea was not too sweet and not bitter. It was also the perfect temperature. The pastries were moist and not dry. Tables were clean and there was plenty of seating. Service could've definitely been a lot better, even a smile would've cut it. read more

I'm writing here to mainly discuss the customer service that I received when I visited the sketchpad café yesterday, April 13, 2026. I ordered two breakfast items and two drinks to go and it was a little bit busy when I went so I didn't mind just waiting there. 30 minutes after And not seeing anybody else that was around me that ordered at the same time, I went up to Tahiti, the cashier, and asked her if I could get a status on the order. It turned out that my order fell to the wayside and I was waiting in vain. After being apologized to a profusely by both Tahiti and Sarah the manager, Sara came by to talk to me and say that she would work out a resolution. I was not really in a rush. It was not a huge deal however I could see where people would be upset by it. Shortly after, my original order came out and it was cooked to perfection. The food is perfectly cooked nicely seasoned and actually a little bit big for a grab and go café. It kept me full for a long time and I really appreciated the fact that this was another option for food inside the hotel. Sarah was excellent and a really great manager of the café. She was so kind and so helpful and I almost wish I was staying a little bit longer just to eat at the location again. Next time I'm at the Pixar Pier Hotel, I will definitely stop by. read more

Great open lobby coffee shop in Pixar Hotel. Staff is very friendly and efficiently filling orders to get you in and out quickly. Restaurant sports a TV showing Pixar and Disney short videos as well as fantastic sketch art on the walls. Coffee menu is limited, but it sports the standard hot and cold drinks as well as specialty alternative milks (oat, almond, etc). There is a good variety of pastries as well as grab-n-go salads, mix fruit, wraps & pasta salads. Freshly toasted bagels are popular this morning...I'll have to try it next time. read more

The Sketch Pad Cafe is located in the Pixar Hotel. It is a little hidden gem making it a perfect spot to sit down and relax. It's a nice space with plenty of seating and cute decor. They have pastries and snacks in addition to their drink menu. I ordered a vanilla cold brew. Service was great. My drink was good and gave me just the coffee kick I needed. The Pixar Place hotel has stepped up its game and now on par with its sister Disneyland properties. This cafe is inside the hotel and a nice quiet restaurant to get away from the hectic theme parks. The service was standard and quick since I only ordered an iced coffee. The drink was tasty and refreshing. The ambiance celebrated Disney and Pixar, but was not busy like other coffee shops or quick service restaurants in the theme parks or Downtown Disney. read more

If you're parked in Downtown Disney go through the Grand Californian Hotel and exit towards the Entrance of the Valet parking. They're a walkway cross that you can use to cross the street into the Pixar Hotel. The cafe was decorated in Pixar Art with visible signs of the menu. I opted for the iced vanilla Late with Almond milk. They offer a limited selection of pastries; sugar cookies, and brownies. The drinks are a bit pricier than Starbucks but the espresso has a smooth finish which is more pleasant on the palet. Theirs plenty of seating available and since the seating is close to the entrance of the lobby sometimes you'll see some of the Pixar characters walking around. read more

I never write reviews for anything, but the iced matcha latte I got from here was the worst one I've ever had in my life (and I drink matcha avidly). It was chunky with powder at the bottom, and the color was off. Not even the oat milk or vanilla flavoring could save it from tasting chalky. I wasn't expecting ceremonial grade matcha or anything unreasonable. I came in with pretty low expectations. I've had other iced teas from here that are better, so if you're around for the nice ambiance and comfortable seating, please get anything other than the matcha. Very convenient if you are staying at Pixar place. Offers everything from drip coffee to latte if you wish. They also have muffins avocado toast croissants and other types of pastries. The first time i went the girl seemed a little irritated when i had a Disney gift card and said their system was down... second day the girl was super kind and happily swiped my card. I also happily gave her a tip on that gift card because that's why i have the gift cards! Went to Downtown Disney for the day and walked through the Pixar Hotel firat. The sketch pad is in the cute lobby of the hotel and on the way to DTD if you cross the street and go through The Grand Californian hotel. This cute little coffee shop is fast and they have different flavors to choose from. I had a lavendar latte with oat milk that was so good. The food look yummy that they had in the front case. A beautiful place however the service needs improvement. I ordered a 16oz iced latte with oat milk and was charged about 11 dollars. The price seemed high however I assumed they charged me correctly so I moved on. About an hour later my friend ordered the same thing and was only charged 8 dollars. I then went to the register and asked how much I should have been charged. The worker says my order should have been 8 dollars.. I let him know I must have been overcharged and his response was "OH". THAT's IT. He did not ofer to adjust the price or anything, simply just stared at me until I walked away. Cute place! Relaxing and it loud when I came in on a Tuesday afternoon. I walked around the hotel lobby to find it and ran into Bing Bong first! The music is cool, kinda like loft of popular Pixar movie songs. I recognized the one from 4Town. Tiffany was the barista and was kind. I ordered a matcha latte.
