We had a great lunch here recently. It was my last meal with friends after visiting for a few days. Such a cool place! Service was great! We all ordered beers, then ordered pizza and salad. Everything was sooo good!

First time trying Cappy's did not disappoint! My friends and I split two small New York-style pizzas: one pepperoni and pineapple, and one chicken and bacon with ranch drizzled on top. The place is fairly small and it was very busy on a Sunday evening. Instead of waiting for a table, we did a to-go order and it took about 15 minutes. Both pizzas were delicious! Between the 3 of us, each of us were able to have 2 slices per pizza. We were all having trouble deciding which we preferred since they're super different. Overall, we really loved them both!

Three of us came on a Wednesday night, and it was chaos. We signed into the waitlist but probably waited 30 min for a table, and after we were initially sat, it took a bit to get service / for any food or drinks to arrive. It seemed like they were very overwhelmed, but it didn't seem quite busy enough to justify the chaos. I get it, stuff happens, but it was a bummer because we were all really hungry! The Greek salad was REALLY good. The pizza and the cheese bread were just okay. The vibe inside was cute and eclectic and homey, but I'm not sure I'd come back after the experience we had

Great pizzeria tucked away in Historic Kenwood. Because it's so popular, there might be a bit of a wait if you plan to dine in, but it's worth it. The space is actually much bigger than it looks from the outside, with dining tables spread throughout different parts of the restaurant. The food is excellent, and you definitely shouldn't skip the Greek salad. It might be one of the best I've ever had. The big chunks of feta mixed with crisp greens make it incredibly satisfying. The pizza was just as good--it took serious restraint not to eat the entire pie in one go. I will be back Cappy's!

I'm pretty selective on my pizza and even at that I'd say I'm more than selective. It takes a lot for me to like pizza and I have to be really in a mood to want it. Let's just say, Cappy's has satisfied my need and I'll come back anytime I want pizza. I am a New York style pizza gal through and through so it's nice to order it somewhere that knows what they're doing. However, I do like that you can pick between Chicago and New York, as not everyone is like me. We ended up coming at 4 pm because their websites says they're open at 3:30 which is accurate, but for takeout only. However, they have open outdoor seating so we walked in and ordered and waited outside and ate outside. Overall the pizza was really good. The cheesy bread didn't have a ton of flavor but was good. I also had a glass bottle root beer and that hit the spot!

If I am craving Chicago style deep dish, this is my go to spot. It has a very simple menu but all of it is done so well! Definitely the best Chicago pizza in this area. It is a great date spot as a salad and a medium pizza is plenty for two. Get the Greek salad!! They also serve beer and wine. The servers are friendly and prices are fair as well. It can get pretty busy on the weekends so prepare for a wait during peak hours. But it is worth the wait!

This place is a knock out every time. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming (they literally go out of their way to accommodate everyone). The vibes are laid back and quintessentially St Pete. On top of that, the food is outstanding and consistent. They're using fresh ingredients and cooking to order. You might have to wait 40 minutes for a Chicago Deep Dish but it's worth every second. If I have to be nit picky, I wish they offered ricotta as a topping and the website hours vs operational hours on the weekend are confusing -- but neither of those teeny tiny things bother us. We're still here for birthday dinners, at least once a month when my mom visits, and after the kids' sporting events. Cappy's feels like home, come pull up a seat and join us! P.S. Meatball and Caramelized Onion Chicago Deep Dish is our favorite. Who else offers caramelized onions??????

Don't bait and switch prices. Was sent a text confirming price, changed different at pickup and was never contacted back by manager for explanation!

Overall 8.5 /10 Price to value 8.5/10 Deep dish 9.1/10 Service 8.2/10 Vibe 6.6/10 This place has been on my list for a while. It's pretty popular and I always noticed how busy it was driving by. I can now say I understand why. The pizza (specifically Chicago deep dish) is great. We got a large with sausage, caramelized onions and peppers and it had the perfect ratio of sauce toppings, crust and cheese. I'm adding this to my regular pizza list. You can't go wrong here. ESPECIALLY for the price. The toppings are 2.99 each on the large which is a little steep but for the taste and how filling it is I'm not upset. It was hard for me to tell if the sausage was there but I think they chop it very small so it cooks. I didn't try the New York style but I can't see it being better than the Chicago style We sat inside and it was a little snug and the wooden seats aren't the most comfortable. But the overall experience was very enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit!

No. You have to put your name on a list when you arrive. Best tip: just get there at 4:30. You will get a table, not have to deal with lines. It's what we do, after waiting over an hour one night.

Now I didn't know, it's beer and wine only but don't let that stop you. The only negative about this place is....its CRAZY hot inside lol. Like Clearwater is already warm, when you are here be prepared to sweat a bit but...have feelings for the staff bc you know they are crazy hot. They need some fans or new ac asap. The food is outstanding. We ordered both the broccolini and the garlic bread. Let me tell you, most places burn the garlic and serve as is. Not here. That garlic bread with fresh garlic is delicious. Their wood fried broccolini is a must try. It's now made us to use lemon zest in ours when we make it at home. The wings...wow! Perfect! Sticky and well cooked. The pistachio and chili's are a perfect combo. You don't get pistachio on wings anywhere I've been! The pizza...I mean come on look at the pics. This is a perfect fire oven pizza. So fluffy on the crust, the pizza itself is true Neapolitan pizza. I'm almost wishing they would serve it European style and not cut it. If they delivered their pizza uncut...I would've given them a standing ovation! Highly recommend and the service is excellent!

I also cannot comment on ambiance or service. I ordered three things and sadly didn't enjoy any of them. 1. The penne ala vodka pasta was thicker and sweeter than I thought it would be. Much more similar to a Mac n cheese texture sauce - way too much cream in base. I also got a meatball with it - that had great flavor and texture. It wasn't bad but just not what I expected or really wanted. 2. I love a brick oven style crust so I was so excited to try their cheese pizza after reading other reviews! It was unfortunately so burnt underneath that the entire pizza just tasted bitter. We ended up throwing most of it away. If it wasn't burnt, I imagine it would have been delicious! Good flavor sauce, thick melty cheese and perfectly rolled out crust. Just burnt burnt burnt tasting. 3. I also ordered the bread and it was a bit dense. Nothing special. May be much better served warm out of the oven. Best deal was the little cup of crispy prosciutto to put on stuff! Loved that option and addition! May give them another shot in person but fairly sad I spent $65 on all that (after taxes, fees and delivery tip) and threw away most of it. Hopefully you have a better experience eating there but I wouldn't recommend for delivery.

As I was doing my loop and heading north on 4th St. I remember being at One Eye Kelly's and some one brought in a pie from Nicko's. I didn't have any at the time but it did look good.
