Our experiences at Stillwaters has been very positive, the food and ambience has always been on point. Delicious, large portions. Good service as well.
The service was great, and their recommendations were spot on. Ordered the jalapeño cheddar sausage as the menus stated they are all made in their kitchen. It was delicious and so was the mustard it came with. My partner usually doesn't like mustard but he said this one complimented the sausage well. We sat inside by the kitchen so we had the pleasure of seeing all the food look and smelling delicious as it left the kitchen. Outside seating is also available. Everything we ordered was amazing. Only regret was not coming in my actual birthday for the free meal.
Creativity! Really appreciated the well thought out beer menu and crafted cocktails I was surprised to find Creole fusion in many of the dishes. It was an enchanting menu. We had kielbasa, Mac and cheese, conch chowder, the FGT (fried green tomatoes) a dark porter called EDMUND FITZGERALD. Yum. Christian our server was fabulous.
Visited Stillwaters Tavern for dinner. Busy Friday evening - the atmosphere was energetic and fun. Service was great. We had reservations and was given the option for inside or outside seating. With the chilly Florida temps we opted for inside seating. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She brought buttered popcorn to snack on, delicious! I ordered the Citrus Ginger Salmon with asparagus. It was cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing. Light with a little sweetness and flaky. My grandma had the fish and chips, which was highly recommended. She said they were very good, she did love the kale slaw that was the side. I would highly recommend dining here if in the area.
The service is very slow & it wasn't busy. Seemed like a lot of staff walking around but not sure why it takes forever for someone to come back to our table. The pot roast was super salty it tasted what the bottom of the pot roast left over from 2 days ago would taste like.... It was terrible. The pot roast was dry & hard to cut into & chewy. The carrots were thin & mushy like the mash potatoes. Not worth the $27 for this dish. I was here one other time & ordered the French Dip sandwich & it was a 3/10 almost like bad bar food. I took 1 bite & my friend ate the rest. It was not edible. The interior is beautiful but doesn't match the quality of the food.
We need to eat here more often! It's not a sports bar but a tavern bar with good food. We had a nice greeting from Addi who gave us her business card, which is a great way not to forget her name. The menu is complete with surprises and the basic expected food. We started with a favorite of mine, deviled eggs with bacon and jalapeno. They have a selection of sausage choices and we picked the bacon, cheddar, jalapeno bratwurst. Great start! For entrees I chose the jerk chicken with rice and beans. My wife chose the fish and chips however the batter coating was a little thick. The drink list is quite diverse and the wine was reasonably priced.

We started off with some deviled eggs and a cinnamon apple bun roll thing that everyone thought was delicious. Had a couple of bloody Mary's along with some non-alcoholic drinks and then we had our omelettes everything was great and we would absolutely consider coming back. We've been here before this is a nice stop. We ate outside, the weather was perfect. We even bought the back of the house a round of beers.

The fish and chips were okay. They were the least favorite part of my meal. The dead parrot beer was delicious! Very citrus forward, super light. Perfect for a hot day. Great spot in St Pete. Right across from MFA. Made for a nice pit stop! I plan to come back and try something else.
My husband and I really enjoyed Stillwaters Tavern for a casual date night on our first night in St. Pete! There is amble seating with a full bar, nice intimate booths and outdoor tables. We loved that happy hour was still going on when we first got there and took advantage of some drink deals. I loved the deviled eggs appetizer. It sounds so simple but a deviled egg with a piece of bacon and jalapeño on top...?? So good. I had the citrus ginger salmon as my entree and my husband had the fish of the day special. Both were flavorful and delicious. Our service was a little slow, but I think our waitress was new so we gave her some grace. We weren't in a hurry and enjoyed just chatting over drinks and watching the Olympics on the bar TVs. Overall, I'd definitely recommend for a quick bite or a casual dinner with friends!
The food was incredible. The service was great! Eva was our waitress. We had the birria grilled cheese, Nashville hot sandwich and the #67 espresso martini which my wife loved! Bathroom was nice! Sink had great water pressure. Would come here again!
I stopped by this location on a work trip. The staff was so incredibly nice and squeezed me in on a very busy night. I let the waitress pick my meal and it was boneless chicken wings with a blue cheese crumble and a Caesar salad and it was so incredibly good!
We were visiting the St Petersburg Art museum and stopped for lunch at Stillwaters which is just across the street. We both had a Greek salad, one plain ($17) and one with added chicken ($24). The Greek salad dressing was very good. Both were very large portions and included a scoop of potato salad. I've never been to a place that added potato salad to a regular salad but it tasted great. With a soft drink and tax the bill was $48. We ate outside since the weather was nice but there is plenty of indoor seating and they have a large bar inside as well. Wyatt, our waitperson, was courteous and efficient. Parking is on the street where feeding $5 into the parking meter gets you 2 hours of parking.

Big restaurant right on Beach drive. Near impossible to find a bottomless brunch in the big year of 2026, but they still got it. Those glasses were indeed bottomless - the pours we nice and hefty. That aspect, paired with the super attentive and kind service, really holds the bulk of the rating here. The food was just okay for the price, not the most flavorful meal I've ever had. Decent range of items on the menu though. Side note - play some sort of music in that place, it's deathly quiet. 7/10 read more
Stillwaters Tavern is a St. Pete spot I keep coming back to, and this visit was another solid one overall! We started with the crispy pork belly, which looked a little on the drier side when it arrived but don't let that fool you, the brown sugar bourbon glaze it was dressed in was delicious. Really enjoyed it as a starter. The tavern burger came highly recommended as one of their best dishes, and while it was a good burger, it didn't quite blow us away. Surprisingly mild on flavor despite the toppings, and it's a BIG boy... which I know some people love, but I tend to prefer a smash burger so I'll take partial responsibility for that note! The fries, however, were excellent... textured, crispy, exactly how fries should be. The real standout of the visit was the chilaquiles (the chef's brunch special). It ran a little dry, but the flavors more than made up for it. The combination of crunchy tortilla chips, smoky sauce, pickled onions, egg, avocado, and cilantro all together was just so good... my boyfriend was equally obsessed. Would absolutely order again. Service was great and overall had a really enjoyable visit... Stillwaters continues to deliver a solid experience and I'll keep coming back! read more

Great food Great service My friends and I were in St Pete for the day and decided to check these guys out. We made a reservation and was about 45 mins late because of the weather and the parking. They still were able to seat us without a wait. I was starving and ordered the Cuban sandwich. I'm so happy I did because it was absolutely delicious! They have some pretty decent options on the menu so I'll definitely be back to try something else. A nice spot with a chill atmosphere. They also offer outside seating as well which I'm sure is nice when the weather cooperates. read more

Love this bar for the drinks and food! They also give free birthday entree on your birthday, with purchase of entree. I got this watermelon drink and cheese curds that hit the spot! The bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable on the drink menu. Great service! And the atmosphere is open and vibey! read more
Lucas was the best server ever! Hope for all the best in his next endeavors! Such a cute spot for the weekend getaway. Loved the ambiance but I just felt like when it's a rainy day it's still a little dark with the unnatural light. Food was so good. I had the chicken and waffle sandwich, which was literally amazing. The spicy maple syrup was such a good touch to this dish. I did scramble egg instead of fried egg, but still a great substitute in my case. All in all a really good experience and definitely will come back when I'm in the Saint Pete area read more

We kicked off my friend's birthday celebration at Stillwater Tavern, right on lively Beach Drive in downtown St. Petersburg. Even at 11am on a Sunday, we were seated immediately without a reservation, which set a great tone for the day. Stillwater is known for its modern American fare and extensive list of craft beers on tap, along with a creative lineup of specialty cocktails. None of the four of us fell in love with their signature numbered cocktails, which lean toward inventive flavor combos, but the bartenders were fantastic and mixed up excellent martinis, margaritas, and vodka sodas for us instead. It definitely speaks to their skill behind the bar. Brunch was a highlight. The deviled eggs were some of the best I've had, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I went for the crab cake Benedict, and it was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. With its stylish interior, energetic vibe, and friendly service, Stillwater Tavern turned out to be a great spot to kick off our day of bar hopping. I'd definitely come back for another brunch or to sample more from their drink and beer selection. read more

The cheese curds were the hit! We enjoyed a bottomless mimosa brunch with a super fun and go with the flow waiter! The bottomless mimosa price is definitely good. The cheese curds were so yummy. I had the chicken sandwich and Caesar salad which were also decent, but nothing incredible. The location is great, right in the heart of St Pete. We enjoyed the tavern atmosphere. Went for brunch after having been for dinner a few times and we were so disappointed. The food was just not good- probably one of the worst waffles either of us had ever had. The fried chicken was good but waffle was inedible and left mostly intact on the plate. The omelet was covered and stuffed with a cheese sauce that was overwhelming. The hashbrown casserole lacked flavor and was served room temperature. Apple cinnamon roll was fine which saved the experience from being a two star rating in my book. We were seated quickly which was nice. Service was nothing special with our waiter being mostly absent. I'm glad we tried the brunch so we know not to return for it. Maybe skip brunch and give dinner a try instead. read more

This is a fun casual restaurant located in the heart of Beach Dr St. Petersburg. Full bar, decent wine and beer options, and great food. We were seated in a big comfortable booth quickly on a Wednesday night. Our server was well versed in the specials and gave us great advice. My husband ordered the pork sandwich and holy Moses, that thing was huge! It was also delicious. This is a good spot if you're looking to start your night out right Downtown St Pete. read more

Very good restaurant on Beach, right in the heart of North Straub Park and the Pier. To me, a better option than Parkshore Boulevard in terms of quality of food and overall experience. There is almost certainly a wait unless you go during off hours. The vegan Thai salad is a standout for me, along with the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. They also have some pretty great cocktails - #22 and #48 are personal favorites. Only downside is that the service tends to be very slow. Visited on a Saturday night with a friend while visiting in town and we were able to be seated relatively quickly in their outdoor tented setup. Service was attentive and friendly while the ambiance was relaxed while fun for people watching. We ordered the Mac and cheese as a side and a sandwich alongside the salmon. This place was okay imo. We ordered warm pretzels and house smoked wings for starters and jerk chicken and Cuban sandwich for entree. Servers were nice, casual place. The pretzels were warm, and filing. The chicken wings were saucy, and good! Jerk chicken lack of flavor, it was bland. I was expecting a different part of chicken.. not a chicken breast. I was expecting spices and what a jerk chicken should tasting like... but it lack a lot of those. Cuban sandwich was okay too. Stillwaters Tavern is conveniently located minutes from the waterfront in St. Pete's. On a warm summer afternoon, we chose to sit outside, which was covered and cooled with several fans. After looking over the menu, we decided on Warm Pretzels (served with a cheddar dipping sauce), Cuban sandwich, and Birria Grilled Cheese (both served with delicious, crunchy fries).
