However, a handful of "new rules" were put in place since we had last stayed. My wife, kids, and I were sitting in the sand watching the sunset and were asked by security to leave the beach because it now closes at 7pm. Sun was still up, many boats out enjoying the water and we were told to pack up or we would be locked out of the gate and given a fine. The sign at the entrance to beach literally says "beach is open until sunset" but management never updated the signs. Super bummed after all the money we paid to not be able to sit and relax for a sunset. Make sure you read the 5 pages of rules on their web site before coming to hidden shores.

You should know that the trailer park is in a bad part of town, surrounded by empty lots, broken cars and homeless. Once you pay your $100 deposit, don't think you can change your dates. That deposit is lost and they'll refuse to apply it to any days you spend there. There are only about15-20 spots for transients. And you're under the airport flight path, so why bother?

The park is also offering a 20% discount for Canadians to come back. They are not offering that to the Americans... Seems a little unfair. I guess my suggestion for the Canadians is they don't have to come here. It's none of their business who the majority of this country voted for And it's not our fault their dollar is weak. Cindy and Don were just amazing! They gave us a ride on their golf cart to the lemon grove to watch the sunset..it was so beautiful. The pools look amazing but I had a fresh tattoo so I couldn't get in one...womp womp. The thing to do though is pickle ball! Lots of people playing pickle ball for sure! Pet friendly with a dog run. Rec room that is also their cafe! And the food was actually pretty decent and reasonably priced. I almost forgot to mention the grounds man who led us to our space on his bike! Nice enough, but no amenities were open because we went during off season. Very old park that's quite outdated and needs quite a bit of renovation. The front desk staff was very nice and she explained that the clubhouse was being remodeled and that there was only one dumpster available to us, once again, with it being off-season. Quite a few single wide trailers that are used during on season by regular residents that sat empty, the center area was reserved for trailers, it seemed. Like I said, it's okay.
