​We have been regular customers at this Capriotti's location since they opened about 10 years ago, but after the appalling treatment we received yesterday, we will never return. ​We picked up an order and realized one of the sandwiches was prepared incorrectly. This wasn't a matter of "preference" or being picky; the sandwich contained ingredients that the recipient literally cannot eat due to medical reasons. When we called to explain the situation and ask to bring it back for a correction, we were met with immediate hostility. ​It gets worse. When we asked to speak to the manager to resolve the issue reasonably, we were met with a level of unprofessionalism I've never encountered in the food industry. The manager essentially told us we "f***ed up," using that exact profanity to blame the customer rather than help solve a simple order error. ​To be spoken to that way by leadership in a place of business is disgusting. Using profanity toward a customer who is trying to address a medical dietary necessity is not just rude--it's a total failure of management. If this is how they treat their regulars, I'd suggest you take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other shops in Henderson that actually value their customers and understand basic human decency. read more

This chain might be the Old Faithful of the Vegas fast casual scene. Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is a chain that started on the East Coast but was purchased by Las Vegas franchisees before I even moved to town and got to know them. I've stopped in at this particular store on Stephanie and Paseo Verde before since it's basically right off the highway, and I did so again today for the chain's 49th birthday (for which they offered $4.90 any small 8" subs except for American Wagyu, 1 per account). It's very easy to order and apply discounts off the app. This location wasn't busy and apparently started prepping our orders right away since they were ready in mere minutes. I popped the subs in the oven for a bit later that evening and had instant dinner. The Bobbie is a damn legend, and of course I ordered it again. Featuring turkey roasted and pulled in-house, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, it's Thanksgiving in a sandwich. Actually, it's even better since instead of dealing with gravy, you get richness from creamy mayo. They didn't skimp on any of the accoutrements, and the result was a great bite every time. The Capastrami was also worth a revisit. It wasn't as amazing to me today for some reason, but there was a good amount of pastrami along with Swiss cheese, creamy slaw and Russian dressing. If you aren't feeling turkey or carbs on carbs, this is a good way to go. The location has decent seating if that's what you wanna do. There's always parking available here since it's a quiet plaza. Actually, per Yelp, one of the other food/beverage establishments closed recently. Capriotti's is my favorite sandwich chain around town, so I'll surely be back sooner or later. We have been a fan of Cappriotti for years. We love their sandwiches, so delicious and not dry at all. Our favorite is: "American Wagyu cheese steak " and it is so delicious that we keep coming back over and over again. Yummy! They even have vegetarian options like : Impossible Cheese Steak , Veggie Chicken cheese steak, Veggie Turkey. Their sub sandwiches are flavorful, made with award-winning traditional recipes, and fresh ingredients. Always fresh sandwiches at reasonable pricing. The portions have gotten bigger at Capriotti's which is very rare these days, while everybody else's portions have gotten smaller. Employees are always friendly and welcoming. On this particular Halloween afternoon shift I ordered two sides that I totally spaced on and the sandwich artist came running out to the car to make sure I got them. You could say he forgot to put them in the bag but he could have also let me drive off too but he didn't he came running out to get me my sides. Stopped by the Capriotti's in Henderson for lunch and went with their classic cheesesteak--definitely hit the spot. The sandwich was packed with tender, flavorful steak, well melted provolone, and grilled onions that added just the right sweetness. Everything was hot and fresh, and the roll had a great balance of soft inside with a slight chew on the outside. It's a solid, no-frills Philly-style cheesesteak. Knocking off one star mainly for the price--at $12 for a small-sized cheesesteak, it's a bit steep for a quick sandwich (large is $22). Still, the quality is noticeably better than most fast-casual spots, so you're getting what you pay for. UPDATE 5/29/22: Didn't feel like cooking dinner tonight so I decided to hop in the car and go to Capriotti's for a delicious sandwich. It's been several years since I've last visited this location (been going to the one inside GVR). Both this location and the one inside GVR are relatively close to me. My favorite sandwiches from Capriotti's are the Bobbie, the classic Italian, and the homemade tuna sandwich. For those who don't know what the Bobbie is, it is their Thanksgiving-style sandwich with cranberries, turkey, and stuffing. I've had the Bobbie before at office parties and Christmas parties. I went onto their website and ordered the 18" homemade tuna sandwich (I know it's huge but I loooove this sandwich). I chose to go pick it up curbside rather than waiting in line at the restaurant. Since I already entered my payment info online, I didn't have to show it when I went to pick it up. HOWEVER, this location does not have designated curbside spots. I had to go inside and get it because a staff member never came out with it. The good news, though, was that my sandwich was fresh and edible. Capriotti's, if you are going to have a curbside pickup option for this location on your website, please add some signs in your parking lot to avoid confusion, or have your customers who choose this option call you when they arrive. I'll definitely come back but I won't use curbside pickup again. Lesson learned. read more

The staff at this location are friendly and always appreciative of their well earned tips. Capriottis is one of our favorite spots for subs. I love the fresh, quality meats in their subs. The bread is always soft and fresh too. The Bobby is the best with fresh roasted turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayonnaise. Our other favorites are the Capastrami, and Homemade Tuna. Their salads are decent and definitely enough to be a meal. Recently, I've been ordering through their app and loving the convenience. You can order and pay ahead so you just have to give your name at the counter and be on your way. My food has always been ready to go when I arrived. Wow ...this is my 3rd time here. First ordered ordered this through door dash for my mom Mother's Day because that's what she wanted and kept talking about some sandwich dip. We tried it and now I know why. This is the best sandwich we have had. We just visited and they told my mom they ran out of the dip. We were so upset because this dip is why I am coming back. I called the Stephanie location and the manager called me and said they happen to get some and that they can make for me within 30 minutes. That is amazing because I was just writing a letter to corporate asking to bring back the dip. They had it ready for me within 30 min. The ambiance is nice to eat your sandwich in but we took ours home. Will definitely return, the only improvement they need is training the workers with communication and menu items. I love Capriotti's but don't eat here often because I feel it's pricier than other sandwich places. Haven't been here in a while so decided today I would splurge and spent $90 total on sandwiches that will last us through the weekend. Of the 4 sandwiches I got, 3 of them looked like a chimp had wrapped them and the meat and fillings were falling out of the sandwiches, and the paper was stuck to the filling and had to be picked out. I can't say I'll never eat Capriottis again, but in the future I will be visiting Jersey Mike's more, or will just go to a different Capriottis location. For the prices they charge they should have some sort of quality control in the product they are providing their customers. read more

Randomly popped into this location for a sandwich when in the area for work. Their loyalty club gets frequent emails for promos and discounts, and a $2 off coupon is what brought me in. No issues using coupon or placing order, staff were friendly and location was clean. I got the Impossible cheesesteak, in a small, added hot and sweet peppers, with mushrooms and onions. It was just okay and didn't seem as loaded up as at other locations. Food was fresh and ready in a reasonable amount of time, even with a few online orders coming to pick up. I like that the open-line kitchen allows you to see them making your food. Unfortunately that also means I saw an employee unconsciously touch her face, repeatedly, while wearing gloves to make an order, and then continue with working. I'm not a Karen or anything but with so much emphasis on proper use of PPE for Covid, this is something that needs to be corrected. read more

Not sure who is working the grill today, but he may need a little more training. I ordered a beef steak with no onion, no mushrooms, and sweet peppers. What I got is a beef steak with onions, mushrooms, and hot peppers. The meat and cheese were only on one side of the sandwich, the other side was just bun. The meat is over cooked. And, as a little token, also received some type of black little burnt balls. Not even sure what that is. Needless to say, I go without lunch today and just spent almost $50 there today. First time here. Bottled water was unusually very nice. It was private labeled and not super generous in size but pure, light, refreshing, etc. I'd like it delivered to my home. haha. Service was great. My Greek salad was SO yummy. The flavors all came together well. The half size was sufficient for a satisfying lunch. Grab a knife with your fork to cut down the greens. Mine were difficult to eat in a "dainty" manner otherwise. It was as to be expected, an ordinarily small, eat in space. Tables and chairs weren't enduringly comfortable or spacious for a group of four but my salad and water truly were so delicious that it was easy to overlook any take-aways. I love Capriotti's. Regardless of the location I go to, I always have a good experience. I always order either the large Cole Turkey or the large Slaw B Joe and both are always delicious. Sometimes the bread is too soft and there is too much sauce but that doesn't stop me from devouring them. It's convenient as it's right by my house and although I don't go there as much as I would like, I am always reminded of why i still go there after I take my first bite. read more

Our group went here last night and two people ordered a Philly cheesesteak with peppers and mushrooms. It was at the end of the business's hours. All night long my husband (who ate the sandwich) was sicker than sick. Thinking it was COVID, we immediately scheduled a test this morning as he was clearly sick and that was what came to mind. We paid $150 for the rapid test as there were others with him and he didn't want to get anyone sick. Results came back negative. He spoke with another friend who ate the same sandwich and he was up all night with the same symptoms. Clearly, this is a case of foos poisoning. What a train wreck. We've quarantined our family, no one can go trick or treating and all because of bad food! Fix the problem! This has cost us money but also memories and my husband has lost a day of work but also we've been in touch with doctors and family trying to making sure he has care in the event it's COVID only to learn another person eating the same thing is sick too. read more

I really dont like writing bad reviews. I came in for lunch only an hour after they opened. I work on the road and sometines needing a bathroom break pushes lunch up a little early. The barhroom was about nasty as hell, trash was overflowing, the sink ,floor and mirror were just gross. I literally felt dirtier after washing my hands. I watched them making my sandwich and there was so many scraps of food on the white board that the only reason i didnt say anything is they had only been open about a half hour so the food shouldnt be rotten as i watched my bread get set right on top of all the food scraps. Have always loved Capriottis but even the bread tasted stale and i didnt even eat the 2nd half and only ate 3/4 of the first half. The only reason i gave a 2nd star is cuz the guys working were friendly as hell. There are to many sub shops popping up now that are cleaner and just as good if not better. I know management reaches out to these kind of reviews to see what they can do to make your next visit better...im tellin ya now, dont bother. I wont respond, and i wont be back.
