Stopped by Great Harvest Bread Co. for lunch today and it had been a while since my last visit. I've been sick the past few days and having a hard time keeping food down, so something warm and bready sounded perfect--and this was exactly what I needed. The woman helping me was new and so sweet. She offered bread samples as soon as I walked in, and I tried the garlic cheddar with butter--so good. I also asked if I could order from the kids menu since I wasn't very hungry, and she kindly said "of course," which I really appreciated. I ended up getting a toasted kids turkey sandwich and a berry cheesecake scone on the side--ummm, yum!! The store is welcoming, smells amazing, and the employees are genuinely kind. When you walk in you are greeted with a fresh bakery ambiance with amazing smells. The line slowly moves, but the service is sweet since they offer you some bread and butter samples. I'm a sucker for their Red, White, and Blueberry Bread with honey butter. Its a match made in heaven. But as we looked, we finally decided to try their sandwich options. I went with a premade sandwich the Turkey Pesto: and everything about it was delicious. It had a great crisp with awesome flavor. My husband is able to make decisions so he opted to make his own. I loved the ability to choose all the breads, cheeses, meats, and sauces and it was absolutely great. They did not originally do the two meats so it had to be remade but it was fairly quick to fix. Overall this place is great and we will be back for the fresh bread, and if we ever get the chance we'd do more sandwiches too. read more

Stumbled across this little bread shop and I was truly surprised how much bread they make fresh in house! They have so many good selections and you can even try some of their breads as a sample. I had never been to one of these before but I feel like I was missing out. Their sandwich ordering system is papers, which allow you to customize your order. Their salted caramel cookies are crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, which make them totally worth the combo and next level. When we were there, the soda machine was out and staff filled it quickly. As for my sandwich, it was delicious but I do wish that the bread was a bit softer. They also offer an adorable store of items such as soup mixes and seasonings. I also got their pumpkin chocolate chip cake, which was super moist and full of chips. I think we're all sleeping on this place. I came here once and unfortunately I didn't make it to their business hours. That was my fault. I never got around to coming back but I'm so glad I did--and mad I didn't come sooner. I don't know how people aren't lining up for the food here every day. Firstly, RACHEL at the register was so, so kind. She offered us free samples of some of the most popular items and I couldn't believe how great everything tasted. Amazing sandwiches & friendly service! I haven't been here in almost 10 years. I used to stop by frequently back in 2015 and the bread still tastes amazing! I got the little Italy sandwich and wow, it was delicious! The Italian dressing was so yummy. Ava was very nice and polite, she offered us a sample of the sourdough bread, lemon poppy seed bread and some butter. The lemon poppy seed definitely stole the show, I'm going to definitely get it next time, it was so soft and flavorful. The store looks nice and clean just like I remember, my daughter used to paint in a little corner that they had for kids by the soda machines. I'm so happy stopped by! The woman providing samples and working the register is extremely slow and shows poor judgment when handling customers as they arrive. On two separate occasions, I patiently waited my turn, only for her to tell me both times that she was going to check out the person who came in after me because they were "running late." It is unfair to make me wait while she gives samples, answers questions, and assists the customer behind me, only to then tell me she will help them first. That makes no sense and honestly made me feel discriminated against. This happened twice, which is completely unacceptable. Thanks for the poor customer service Maria. I was scheduled for an appointment at a nearby business and was about 15 minutes early, and boy, am I glad I decided to check this place out. I was warmly greeted the moment I walked in, and offered a sample of their fresh-baked bread, slathered with butter. I opted for the olive sourdough, and my was it DELICIOUS!! I ended up leaving with a pastrami sandwich as well as a cheese loaf. The quality of their bread is... chef's kiss... SO GOOD. Candidly, the pastrami was just okay, but that's probably because their bread is just the absolute star of the show. The cheese loaf was incredible as well. I purposely froze half the loaf so I wouldn't mow through it so quickly. I'm actually looking forward to taking out the frozen half and reviving it in the oven for some carby happiness this weekend. 10/10 must visit, and if it's your first time, let them know so you can have a sample to nosh on while you make some hard choices about what to order. read more

I came here after being gifted the challah bread. As soon as you enter, you are asked if you want to sample their breads, and of course I did. TThe pumpkin spice bread was sooo good. his place is a lot smaller than I expected, but they do have seating so you can eat inside. You can have your choice of the pre-packaged breads, and also order your sandwich at the counter. They service here is so friendly and the staff here are so kind. We ordered the Little Italy sandwich, which was so yummy, and the tomato garlic soup was served piping hot and you can tell it's all made in-house. The ingredients were so fresh and you can tell they put a lot of love into their cooking/baking. The amount of times I've drove past this establishment and have never gone in blows my mind. My cousin and I were driving by and I said you know what I've been wanting to check this place out and we walked inside. It is sooo cute inside, there are seats you can sit and eat your meal or pastries at. The employees were sooo kind. It was our first time in so they offered us samples to try which is really what made me purchase something. I'm usually not a big pumpkin fan because sometimes the pumpkin is too overwhelming. I sampled their pumpkin tea cake and WOW. They freshly bake their items everyday and you can tell! The cake was so moist and had so much flavor to it. Holy moly! This place is not just a "bread place". This place is SPECTACULAR. They know what they are doing here. Bread of every flavor you can imagine and more. I walked in and first seen chocolate brownie bread on display then, the extremely sweet/ patient server,Anna, offered me EGGNOG BREAD???? My jaw hit the floor. It tasted like the real deal Eggnog. Not bread with a hint of Eggnog but actual eggnog. Just take my whole wallet at this point. But it kept getting better. They have sweet treats of all sorts; Cookies, scones, bread pudding, tea cakes, these swirly roll looking things that looked fabulous. And if you want something a smidge more savory, they have salads, soup and sandwiches at a very affordable price. I got the Reuban sandwich and it hit the spot. They also have items as you walk in for sale like jams, olive oils, pancakes mixes, maple syrups ect.... I sincerely love this place. Please open one in Summerlin by me. We went in to purchase bread because they have some awesome bread there and maybe sample and get a couple desserts but me and my son got hungry so we went ahead and built our own lunch sandwiches. I don't know who made them, but they were the best sandwiches with the right amounts of ingredients on them ever the service as far as sampling bread and everything else was amazing. It started to get a little crowded, but the ladies there handled it and it was great and then I sampled the banana bread. Oh my God that was so good. At the counter they have baked goods and breads displayed. Bakery items and bread flavors rotate by day so check the schedule if you are looking for a particular item. As soon as you walk up they offer a sample of bread with the option to add soft butter on top. The samples are perfect for keeping my toddler entertained while I order. The sandwiches are tasty on their fresh baked bread. So far I've enjoyed the The Little Italy and The Pastrami. The Greek Salad is really fresh with a delicious dressing. My favorite thing to order is the half and half. With half a sandwich and half a salad it's only $10 and a lot of food. My little one loves all of their breads and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The bakery items have always exceeded my expectations. My favorites so far have been the Sugar Cookie, the Blondie, and Cinnamon Crunch Scone. This place is a gem! Lots of bread options which change throughout the week. I've been here a number of times and took someone new today! You're greeted with a slice of bread and butter, your choice between the options they have available. We ordered 3 sandwich combos and the combos come with a drink and your choice of cookie or chips, I definitely recommend the cookie as they are made in house. Salted carmel cookie is my favorite! We got the BLT, turkey pesto, and perfect pastrami. The grill and the fountain drink machine were both broken, which was unfortunate, but the sandwiches were still great ungrilled and they did replace our drinks with bottled ones.
