An ok detail start to finish. Nice enough staff member but appears to be an independent contractor using his own equipment. I have better equipment than he did, plus he used some of my products and made himself at home in my garage without asking (my fans going, chargers plugged in on my bench, my things moved around, using my rolling seats etc) Professional detailers should be just that, professional. Not just someone who has stuff to clean a car that comes to your house that winds up being inadequate. Also I don't mind things taking a considerable amount of time if it's worth it. This took more than 6 hours and I wish I would've just saved my money and did it myself for how it looked. I had to point out places in the interior more than once that needed to be cleaned and when I requested it, it was given a cursory wipe with a dirty towel. I realize this review is late as the service took place last year but I don't want others to have this same experience. read more

I decided to surprise one of my buddies with a b-day gift by getting him an interior and exterior detail. The business owner was very nice to me and although I wanted to have it done sooner, he was booked and offered to do it at a later date for a discount. What I loved was that one of his team members actually showed up right on time. I was surprised it was just one person instead of a team but Pablo got the job done. It took him about 3 hours which is what he estimated at the beginning. My friend said he wasn't blown away but that the job was good. Short version - Find another detailing company. Long version - A young guy knocked on my door asking to setup detail service. I said no originally, but was about to put a SXS up for sale. I asked them how much and he offered me a reasonable rate ($175 from $250). They scheduled for the next day. Another young gentleman shows up the next morning and this is where it goes wrong. He shows up with 3 gallons of water, a battery operated sprayer, and limited product. There is no way you can clean a SXS that was just used with 3 gallons of water. His cleaning method was wiping with the same rag and then putting shining product over it. After 8 hours hours he said he was done. It was the worst detail ever, thus why I always do it myself. They must contract out to young kids who dont have the appropriate equipment to do the job. I called the owner who said they would send another detailer out the following week, which was 3-4 weeks ago, but havent heard anything. Your best bet is to find another company who specializes in detailing. read more

I have mixed feelings about my experience with Capstone. The customer service was great, great response time, friendly technician. However, I was not aware until the time of the appointment that it was a waterless service. I was skeptical that things would not look clean and turns out rightfully so. The interior looked pretty good, the exterior looked like it was wiped down but there was dirt left over. Not the worst but definitely not worth the $220+ price tag. read more

Nice guys, they attempt . However I wish I would have known it was waterless. They did a fairly decent job on the inside. They did get water-spots off glass, but glass wasn't clean. Outside for a cut and buff did nothing and swirls of dirt left behind and did not get the nooks of the wheels. In all fairness I knew years of Hawaii did take a toll on the paint. When they said after looking at car "can make it look like new" i was ecstatic. When I inspected the paint was rough, had wax swirls and did not look any better than before they started. I know they tried and have good reviews but I prefer not having smoke blown up my ... and the truth that it is hopeless or this is what you need. They made the cut and buss right by not charging me after I told them they should have stopped and gotten me when they realized it was not going as they had planned. One final note, my paver driveway is bleached due to some acid or other product they used... that was inexcusable. However in my defense about the paint, I took an area myself and made it shine and smooth. The fact is I am not able to do more. I hope you have the luck others had, but for me a waste of a couple hundred bucks. Good luck guys, but I will not recommend. read more

A Capstone duo detailed my 2004 BMW Z4 extremely well such that it almost looks new. They were extremely responsive to my outlining previous left over wax deposits in crevices and made sure that they covered every inch of my vehicle. I splurged on hiring a detailer to make my car look like new again, and that is not what i got. There was satisfactory and there was bad but nothing great to rave over (like i was told over the phone). He couldn't do/wax my seats because there was such a strong smell to their product. He did the front seats only, and very lightly, but the smell lasted over a day. And they don't look any better than before. And then i had two black spots on my carpet, and i asked him to clean those- he had already finished with the inside and just ignored those spots. Well, he said he needed a special product and he hadn't brought that along. When i booked the appt, i said i had a few carpet stains, so he shld have brought it with him. After he left, i used some laundry soap and water, and the stains, or rather dirt came out very easily. The car basically doesnt look much better than the automatic car wash i go thru weekly. read more
