Clean fast food but I thought the fish was way too greasy. The shrimp was also overcooked.

Good for fast food! Nothing special long wait, but at least it hasn't been sitting there for hour.

This was soft serve and they did have ice cream so they kept asking, "One, two, or three scoops?" To which we replied with three fingers and a grin. But please add malt was met with they could sprinkle it on top. To which our smiles became frowns. "Can't you just shake it up in the glass or in the mixer? We queried. No that would be soft serve was the answer. They do have real ice cream too. We were a bit slow on the uptake, and our sweet counter girl, Emily, who was in her 20s but looked 15, patiently explained the ice cream came in a cup and the milk shakes were soft serve only, because evidently their shake machine can't handle the hard real stuff. We caved, got soft serve. We wanted malts not ice cream sprinkled with malt. *sigh.* Bella, Michael and Kennedy looked on, in training with our youthful trainer, and Kennedy remarked, "You're living on the edge," It was her first day. The place also had other retro food, except for the seed oils, which meant shakes only for us.

When we arrived, we were actually sat at a two top high table which immediately made us feel happy and grateful since we did not expect to actually get our own little spot! Then, the service we received from Ryce our waitress was so comforting and genuine! She gave great recommendations and checked on us the right amount and at the right times! Furthermore, the vibe of the restaurant was so so cute! Me and my girlfriend both expressed the desire for our future home to have a similar chic style. Lastly, the food could not have satisfied us more. Specifically, the capaccio starter plate was both of our favorite ways we've ever had it made. 10/10 would go on a date with my valentine here again!!!

We were delightfully surprised at the five star service, and the food was spectacular! I can only comment on the Lamb Chops which were the best I've ever had, and I've had lamb chops at restaurants around the world, including some very highly regarded places. Be sure to have the dinner rolls with a little butter for a special treat. If I were a resident in the area, or if I ever need to travel that direction, I would make a detour just to have dinner here. The scallops looked very good, although I did not try them.

This joint has three coin-operated pool tables, a modest bar, and amenable patrons. The beers are of the Mill-Coor-weiser variety (Czechoslovakian pilsner ale style), and various liquors. I was pleasantly surprised that they had nonalcoholic beer in the form of O'Doul's. I'm hoping to get them to carry some higher-end beverages. This place is emblematic of some of the small-town Midwestern bars that I'm quite fondly familiar with. I ended up bumping into at least one person who I knew, and easily struck up conversations with others as well. In vein with the throwback atmosphere, this establishment allows cigarette smoking as well as vaping. Although I don't smoke, I felt like I'd been transported back in time to the 1980-s. The atmosphere here is very relaxed and calm, at least during the weekday late afternoon that I was there. Although I dislike the secondhand smoke, I'll probably return again.

Last night I was kept up late covering for a coworker that was off and I was so tired this morning I forgot my meeting today was moved to Forrest City from Memphis so I went to turn around here and got hungry. I was sold at "breakfast burrito" but the 5 star average review only made me more excited. I prayed last night at 2:30 am that God would give me strength to make it through this presentation today knowing I had to get up at 5am to drive. This was divine intervention. I walked in so excited that the cashier went from saying hello to being the most delightful human being I've ever met. I could not decide because I wanted everything so I settle for just 2 burritos. One for now and one for later: Sonja and Karen. They were made fresh and took less than 10 min. When I got in my car and opened the box for Karen, I felt a brief moment of pause and disappointment bc the burrito looked a little small. I was worried all the hype would be for not. It was dripping in syrup. I bit into it and the trauma bond of exhaustion and nerves from last night to this burrito experience this morning was complete. It was so good I felt like I couldn't tell someone about it without them thinking I was lying. I could've eaten 4 of them. After finishing it (quickly) I texted one of my best friends that lives 14 hours away, "I just ate a breakfast burrito so good, I moaned a little." I didn't make Sonja wait any longer. I had to have her right now. After opening her box up, I was met with a much fuller and large burrito that looked even better than Karen. I took my phone out and snapped a picture. After that I couldn't take it anymore and started devouring my second burrito. She tasted like I was a little girl and she was the burrito my dad told me to stay away from. A little spicy, messy, Tex-Mexican goodness. I didn't take my first drink after starting my breakfast until 1.5 burritos in because I didn't want to wash away anything my mouth was savoring. I don't even want to brush my teeth. I don't even want to show my face in this restaurant again out of embarrassment that they know the experience I just had after walking out of their establishment. Now I'm going to my meeting and afterwards I'm going home to my wife where I'm going to be honest about the feelings I just experienced and how God said it was okay.

Rob explained the top 5 on the menu to us and was happy to make a couple substitutions. His wife chatted with us while the burritos were being made (including making some audiobook recommendations for our road trip) and they both made us feel like friends of the family. The burritos were a knockout. In addition to my Gailene's Meat Lovin' Burrito, I snuck bites of the Karen's Maple Delight Burrito and the Bernadine's Shrimp And Avocado Burrito. I can highly recommend all 3. The seasoned hash browns were pretty awesome too. Thanks for a great breakfast and for making our Saturday morning!

Later during the meal, he admits that Momma's is one of his spots, so that's saying a lot. It sort of looked like another bar/restaurant from the outside, but they have a nice outdoor patio overlooking an old decrepit building which is at least some scenery. Once inside, you'll quickly see it's highly decorated and has a claim to be one of the only trucker themed bars in the US. Inside is decked out to the ceilings with signs, neon, old mirrors, collectibles, and many other items. I swear it looks like it's been in business for 30+ years, but my client said only a couple of years. I looked over the basic menu and saw burgers, breakfast, salads, sandwiches, a famous pork chop, wings and a few other items. The client and my colleague quickly ordered devilled eggs, cheese curds, and chili cheese fries. The first two apps were really good, I didn't try the fries though. They had a burger of the day, and a food special of the day, but I settled on the wings. With those I chose the 10 pc, Buffalo with dry rub, smoked. Kind of a weird combination since most people usually order dry here apparently, but I like saucy wings. When they come out, they are huge and I knew I wouldn't be able to finish them. I think I could only eat 6-7. My colleague had a ribeye steak salad which was a protein bomb he loved, and my 2 clients ordered a big rig grilled cheese which he also loved and a fried chicken sandwich (firebird) which looked really good. Overall, I really liked this place and it's one of the best meals I've had in Memphis the handful of times I've visited.

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!
