I went with this car detailing company based on word of mouth from their previous Longwood shop. They are easiest to reach via phone where their answering service forwards your inquiry to Kevin, who I believe is the boss. Kevin called me back within two hours and was able to detail my car the next day. Brian was my detailing and he did a fantastic job. I had a bunch of lime deposits from my work parking lot on multiple parts of my car. He was able to get alll the deposits out except for the ones that stained the glass... in only 3 hours! The cleaning service was good. However, I had ordered the interior detail priced at $120. When I picked up my car I was told it will be $170. They said is was a lot of work and the website says "and up" after the price. When I got home I looked it up and while one service did say "and up" the one I had ordered did not. read more

I had my car detailed here yesterday. I got a $99 deal for interior and exterior detailing. Scheduling the appointment was easy if you do it through email. They did a great job with the exterior detailing. However, I misunderstood the deal and thought they would be shampooing the carpet because there was some spilled milk in the back that was making the car smell this was actually not part of the deal (just cleaning the floor mats was what was included), but Kevin was very nice and he asked his guy to do some extra work on the car. When the smell still remained, they even shampooed the carpet the next day (which removed the smell completely) and did some cleaning of the dashboard with no extra fee. We had a slight hiccup with who was supposed to contact who when the car was done but Kevin was reachable on the phone and was able to sort everything out. Just be very explicit with the guy in the garage about whether you are going to show up at a particular time or if they are going to call you when the car is done. Overall, really good deal, convenient to where we live, and will definitely use them again when we want interior detailing in the future. read more

Got my $30+tip car washed by these clowns, and they left dirty shoe prints on all of my door sills AND my back seats. This was absolutely terrible. I phoned in advance and was provided with misleading information by the merchant. He subsequently tried to get me to reimburse him for parking after he had agreed to pay for it, pressuring me to give him my credit card number over the phone, threatening me that If I didn't pay up, he was going to dock his worker's pay. When I got out into the daylight, on top of the menacing ransom phone call after-the-fact, I discovered that the interior of my car was clearly not detailed. The floor mats were washed, the front seats were wiped, and the inside glass was marginally cleaner. But the floor, dash, utility spaces, cup holder and trim are every bit as dirty as when I brought the car in - all this in THREE hours. Most of the exterior is shiny. I'll give them that. read more

I purchased a $99 car detail on livingsocial. Setting the appointment time was fine and it was easy to get to. Kristy was very nice. However, she did fail to mention that I had to pay for parking when I went to get my car serviced. I showed up and Josue was busy - he was the only one and there were tons of cars. Not a big deal for me since I figured everyone was using the living social deal. He was the one who told me that parking wasn't included. I debated if I still wanted to get my car detailed there but I figured I was there already. BIG MISTAKE. First of all, these people are nice but the service wasn't there. Josue cleaned the carpet stains on the rug and it looks great - however the area where the door closes was still dusty. He also didn't dry all the windows so now I have water spots in my mirrors. What was more annoying is that he said he'll call when it was done (I had told him I would come back near closing if that was easier but he told me to wait nearby). I waited 2 hours and after hearing nothing, I walked over to see if my car was done. He said it was and he had left me 2 voicemail - BS. I didn't get any calls. I get that he was busy but no need to lie about it. I also ended up paying $36 for parking. I would go to a different place next time. Allston Car Wash has better service for the amount of money I had already paid. read more

Had my 2008 Subaru Forester detailed yesterday 2/14/2018. I called on Monday night (2/12/2018) left a message after hours to have someone call me back to set up a detailing appointment. Tuesday morning (2/13/18) the manager called me back, he was very helpful trying to work with my schedule. I was able to have my car detailed the next day,(2/14/2018). I was so pleased with the work. My car smells great, and looks even better. The owner, Almondo made sure I was pleased and happy with the service. I will definitely be back and tell everyone I know how pleased I was. These guys are probably the most professional respectful and well put together group I've come across in all my years of having my car detailed not only did they do an incredible job but they contacted me to let me know that they had forgotten to put in umbrella back in my car one that I would not have noticed gone had they not called me and then made sure to follow up with me so that I would come back and get it when I went back to pick up my umbrella they touched up my car! I gt this deal from LivingSocial. I had several hiccups to schedule an appointment. The car detailing done was okay only for the reason......I expected small pockets on the doors to be cleaned...they hadn't been cleaned.... areas near the hand-break still had some dust there....rest of the exteriors and interiors were sparkling clean....they did a decent job with that. Scheduling an appointment was a hassle for sure. After the job was done I was expecting a call saying that the car was ready for pick-up and I did not get a call. I finally called up inquiring and they said they had lost my no. Eventually I went to pick-up my car and they had left a pass for me to get out of the garage. Since nobody was around, they asked me to put the pass back on their table, once I got the car out of the garage. The folks were pretty well behaved otherwise. read more

Don't ever use this company! Not only did they accidentally back my car into a concrete post, but they cashed the check I wrote to pay them after they assured me my detail would be free of charge. The manager Kevin also tired to get me to avoid using his insurance company as this was the 3rd claim he would be making!! He wanted to take my car for the day to "the body shop he uses" as a convenience to me?! He has been less than helpful in refunding me after I called upset that the check was cashed in the 1st place and actually could not understand why I was bothered by this...as for the cleaning of my car..the job was less than adequate. The outside looked okay, but the inside was still dirty and I found belongings in the back of my SUV that did not belong to me!! Several of my co-workers have had bad service with them too!!! Unless you drive a Benz and pay full price, don't use this service. The will diss you. I had an atrocious experience trying to use its offer of 50% off its services for LivingSocial customers. I brought the car - a mere Sebring - in yesterday at their invitation at about 11:15. The guy who greeted me was very friendly and a total yes man. He explained that he was just going out to pick up a "benz" and would work on that before he could get to mine. I said I didn't have anything pressing and that would be fine. They promised to call when it was ready. At about 2 I went back expecting that they would be nearly done. In fact, they had not yet started and were working on another car that was not a benz. I left again with the promise that they would call when they were done. Two hours later I headed back but called the number listed first to be sure it would be ready. Kevin, the owner, answered and told me he was sure it was ready. I explained that I had already been back once and it wasn't ready and had been waiting all day and was calling to get definitive information that it was ready and not just his assurances. He told me that he couldn't reach the guy at the garage but I should just go there b/c he was sure it would be ready. When I got there at about 4:30 they were finally working on my car but it was not done. As I had not yet paid, he told me to call Kevin to make arrangements and he would let me know where to find the key when the car was ready. I had to leave the garage yet again to do to reach Kevin. I asked Kevin if he wanted to offer me an additional discount given the trouble I had. First he said no and then he said if I wanted more than the 50% discount I could just not pay him. I told him that would work for me. I went back to the garage to let the guy know I was settled up. He told me he was going to be leaving but would leave the car running with the heat on to dry the upholstery. I told him I was surprised that he intended to leave the car unattended and running. He assured me it would be fine but he would give me a towel to sit on if I wanted to take it before it dried. I declined and left the garage yet again. When I came back, his girlfriend was still there. I asked about getting my parking ticket validated and she told me he had the pass and had left to drop a car off. When he came back he told me he couldn't use the pass to let me out. He played dumb and told me he didn't have any authority to help me out and didn't know what other people did about the parking fee. To get out of the garage I had to pay a $48 fee because the car had been there all day. I tried calling Kevin when I got out of the garage but he didn't answer. I will say that they did a pretty nice job on the car but the experience was terrible. I came away feeling cheated and abused. read more

Sam did a fantastic job on my mid-size SUV. He got a year's worth of sand, dirt, kid stains and other residue out of extremely hard to clean surfaces. His communication was great as well. I highly recommend him and Mobile Car Detail and will be back again after beach season next year. read more

I made an appt on my way to work 6:30am arrived and nobody was there. "Drop off Key" box had been pried open - Didn't leave keys!! Called the dispatcher no answer - About to leave and detailed guy arrived - promised to do a great job and would offer me a discount for my inconvenience - I picked up the car, the guy did not have validation stamps - Paid full price $48.00 - Exterior clean is mediocre at best. Interior work horrible! Fingerprints on all doors, trays not cleaned . Interior back windows never done !I would not recommend this place to anybody!
