Other than that, This store has to be the most unprofessional, problematic, nastiest dealership I've been to or seen in my life. The service advisors Jose and Mike Tibbs, should not have jobs in customer service after the way I've been treated the last 4 times I have been here. . And from the information I've gathered, I'm not the only complaint towards them. How are they still working here? Not only was I waiting for over 4 hours, but the advisor "Jose" decided to yell at me, cuss at me and try to say he didn't say something after specifically telling me otherwise. After speaking to the management here I've come to the conclusion everyone who works here is just straight up rude and disrespectful. You'd think going into a dealership you'd get treated with respect. If the managers wanted to sit around all day, they should've pursed careers in the furniture business. Apparently the gentleman "Hamsah" and "Aron" are in charge. My question is, what exactly are they in charge of? They don't seem to be doing a whole lot of anything as well as being just as disrespect and dishonest as the advisors I spoke with. If you'd like an easy, straightforward, respectful experience getting your vehicles work done, find another dealership. Or come back and let me know I told you so.

I needed to purchase a car for my mom, who is 87 years old. Her car died, and she needed something reliable. She lives in Spring Hill, FL, and doesn't drive far, and there was no way for her to get to Tampa. I live in California, so coordinating everything was challenging. Jared went above and beyond by arranging for the car to be delivered directly to my mom. I honestly don't know what I would have done without him. Trying to get a flight to Florida at that time was crazy flights were over $1,000 with terrible time slots. Jared made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I can't tell you how much I appreciate him and the team at Lexus of Tampa Bay. My mom absolutely loves her new car. If you ever need a used or new car, please look up Jared--he is absolutely wonderful. Hubs went and looked and based on the great service we received from Johanas we got Pearl!!! She's an absolute beauty and I love it! From start to finish, Johanas was cool, calm and collected. He didn't rush us into any decision and was upfront with us the whole time. We learned about him personally as he did us and I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Lexus. Great communication and great customer service!! He took the time to sit with me and walk me through all the features and setup.     On 1/12/2026, I traded in my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee (lease) for a 2026 Hyundai Palisade XRT. I…read moreworked directly with Ken, the online salesperson, and clearly communicated the payment range and financing structure I needed before arriving at the dealership. Unfortunately, my credit was run before any numbers were presented to me. The initial terms presented were not aligned with what we discussed, but after negotiation, we reached what I believed was an acceptable agreement. The real issue began after the sale. Nearly three weeks later, I began receiving overdue notices from Jeep regarding my traded-in lease vehicle. I contacted the dealership multiple times and was repeatedly assured by the finance department that the payoff had been sent. After a month of being told "it will be paid," I escalated the matter to the finance manager, Elliot. I was given an explanation about internal payment system changes and assured the matter would be handled immediately. Elliot even provided his personal cell phone number and promised to overnight a payoff check on Friday. The check was not sent Friday as promised. After following up again Monday and receiving no response, I was left on read. On Tuesday, 2/24/2026, I was finally sent a copy of the overnight check that had been mailed that same day -- not the previous Friday as stated. Jeep received and signed for the check on 2/25/2026; however, they informed me it would take up to five business days to process. This delay placed me at risk of being reported late and sent to collections. I am 47 years old and have never had a late payment reported on my credit. To protect my credit history, I was forced to make the Jeep payment myself -- despite not having possession of that vehicle since 1/12/2026. I am now required to wait up to 30 days for reimbursement. This situation reflects extremely poor communication, lack of urgency, and unprofessional handling of a straightforward lease payoff. Customers should not have to chase a dealership for weeks to ensure a traded vehicle is paid off, nor should they be placed at risk of credit damage because of internal disorganization. I strongly encourage anyone trading in a leased vehicle to NOT work with this dealership.

    We purchased a vehicle from this dealership on May 30th, 2026, and while there were some employees…read morewho provided excellent customer service, the overall experience was unfortunately very unprofessional. First, I want to recognize Austin, our salesperson. He was friendly, patient, and did everything he could to help us. My husband wanted to inspect the underside of the vehicle before purchasing it, and Austin accommodated that request without hesitation. He worked hard to help us get a deal we were comfortable with. We also had a positive experience with Noe in the finance office, who was professional and courteous throughout the paperwork process. Unfortunately, that's where our positive experience ended. When it came time to discuss GAP insurance and other add-ons, a representative from JM&A was brought into the office. We politely declined because we already carry loan/lease payoff coverage through our own insurance policy. After we declined, she made an inappropriate comment to the finance manager, saying we declined because we "couldn't afford it." We found that comment to be rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. Regardless of why a customer declines additional products, they should be treated with respect. Also, the dealership's license plate was accidentally left in the trunk. I didn't discover it until I had driven approximately 45 minutes home, requiring me to make another trip back to the dealership the following day to return it. The biggest issue, however, was what happened after the sale. My temporary tag was set to expire on June 28th, yet my permanent license plate, registration, and sticker never arrived. I visited the DMV on June 23rd, where I was told the dealership had completed the title paperwork on June 16th and that I should contact the dealership for more information. I called the dealership and was transferred to the appropriate department, but no one answered. I was told someone would call me back, and they did the following day. I was told they believed my plate had been mailed with two-day shipping the previous week and that they would investigate where it was and call me back within the hour. I never received that follow-up call. Because time was running out before my temporary tag expired and I didn't receive a call back, I drove back to the dealership in person. Erick, the finance manager, tried to reach the employee responsible for the registration but was unable to get an answer. I asked if they could provide a tracking number for the shipment, but no one was able to do so. Erick took my phone number, gave me his personal cell number, and assured me he would take care of it, mentioning that the Juneteenth holiday may have delayed the mail. I waited as requested, but nothing arrived. I called Erick's number and received no answer, even after leaving a voicemail. I called the dealership again and still could not reach anyone who could help. With my temporary tag about to expire, I had no choice but to go back to the DMV and pay for a replacement license plate myself on the 26th. The most frustrating part of this experience wasn't simply that the plate didn't arrive, it was the complete lack of communication and follow-through. Phone calls were not returned, promised updates never happened, and no one could provide something as basic as a tracking number or a clear explanation of what had happened. As the customer, I was left to spend additional time and money resolving an issue that should have been handled by the dealership. While we appreciated Austin and Noe for their professionalism, the overall experience after the purchase fell well below our expectations. I hope this feedback encourages the dealership to improve its communication and follow-through so future customers don't experience the same frustration.

When I came in and was not looking for a new car Carrie made me an offer I couldn't refuse. But even still then Carrie went the extra mile she found even more money to take off 2 leased vehicles. Then I had two trade in cars and Carrie gave me alot more for them because she wanted my wife to have her car. Carrie was a doll to work with. She even hooked me up after the sale of the 2 Leased cars. This was by far my best car buying experince. She was honest and very up front. I asked some of the craziest request but surpisingly Carrie called me out and MADE IT HAPPEN with the PRICE I WANTED.     Imagine leaving your leased car at the dealership for what was supposed to be a "few hours" of…read moreservicing only to get a call THREE DAYS LATER ("we're really busy") informing you your car still wasn't ready yet because, well, a technician had been driving your car and was involved in a crash. Sheriff report was available. And now it had to go to a collision repair shop elsewhere. Two weeks and multiple attempts to match the paint job later, they just wanted to hand me back the car without discussion. A car that now has a CARFAX report, a record of being in a collision, mismatched paint, and one more year on the lease with an option to buy. Who KNOWINGLY buys a devalued car that's been in a crash? The dealership initially ignored all written requests for an independent re-valuation, and/or consideration in writing for a reduced purchase price at lease's end, and cited "the law says it has to lose at least 30% of its value in a crash for us to be liable." Wow. After being advised by a lawyer to first send a certified letter -- which they tried to pass off in a phone call from the service manager, not even the GM to whom it was also addressed they continue to be non-responsive. I'm lucky I have brothers who are attorneys so it won't cost me anything to pursue this matter in court. You may not be so lucky. Ignoring issues, causing customers problems and dragging their heels to fix them is exactly how this place does business in every respect. They are dishonest and use double speak from the jump, and you will never get a straightforward answer from them. Example: Me: "well now the car has been in a crash and will have a Carfax report!" Them: "don't worry, we don't file Carfax reports." Later, when I took them a copy of the Carfax report and reminded them about what they'd said, this: Them: "well WE don't file them The sheriff does that." This is the level of honesty you will never dealing with at every level of this business. I left 6 messages for the general manager, Krista. She has NEVER called me back. You have been warned.

The quality of the vehicle, the ease of buying, and the level of service throughout the process and afterward were above and beyond. Allen, Jamie, and Justin are exceptional. As time has passed, a couple of typical things have come up with the vehicle, and the support I've received has been outstanding. In a world where getting straightforward, honest information is rare, Cars Unlimited has been a dependable foundation I can trust. I tried many attempts to go see this pickup in person and finally, I did. He made the buying easy. Made us feel at ease buying a classic from him. I wished I still had the pickup today, but things happen for a reason. I do look back on his website from time to time to see if he has anything else interesting to buy.
