I had Car Pros 1 work on my 2001 Ford F-150. I had a loose bracket that was making a bad sound, two heater hoses that needed replacing and a vacuum line leak. I also had Car Pros 1 do an oil service. I brought in my car for a basic Oil change but since i'm particular about the oil and filter I prefer to bring my own and this is one of the few places that lets you bring in your own oil and filter without an exorbitant fees. This shop charged me 3500 to ruin my truck. They are still talking circles around trying to blame each other and, o I wasn't told that by carl, or o I didn't realize, blah blah blah. Your supposed to be a good shop however ASE doesn't have records of you and you recommend unnecessary work that wasn't done right, then your incorrectly performed work ruined the rest of my engine. There's literally oil spraying from every gasket and the oil dipstick, as well as popped several gaskets on trany. The mechanic claims truck is in great running condition. I'll try and see if I can attach a cold start to warm up video, no accelerator touching, just key on and wait for warm up. They need to replace everything, engine and transmission, however they should not be working on any vehicle based on the workmanship, I want a full refund. But I doubt this sketchy scam center will even consider. BAR has been notified and ASE has requested the ID number for whomever the claim is certified. read more

I am so disappointed in Tradeway Transmission - took my '68 Chevy in for transmission work and to have some edlebrock parts n a demond carb (I bought all the parts and gaskets) & change front tires. Three weeks later my car is still there and the recpt thinks its a standing joke my car is not touched. The mech. broke the lock on my wheel (if he had called me - I could have told him the key was in the car) & said I need a new distrib. (What the *#$%?). Cut the new dual feed line n put rubber hose in the middle - could have taken it back and gotten a shorter one IF I WAS CALLED! The owner said that they are primarily a tranny shop and his mech had messed up on someone elses car and had to fix it so they were too busy to fix mine ALSO there are people that needed the tranny work because they are their work trucks n needed them right away - SO WHY DID THEY TAKE IN MY CAR? They damaged the side of my silverado with the intake when he swung it over the side of the bed - the tail gate was down! and that was the last straw - another shop Car Pros 1 (great shop) pointed out the gaskets I paid for were not on my car, don't need a distributer and there was a kitchen cabinet knob in my valve cover! CAR PROS 1 had my car back on the road in two days! THANKS MIKE AND MITCH! They treat my car as if it where their own, now they have ALL my vehicles !!!!! SO HAPPY I FOUND CAR PROS 1!!! read more
