My truck broke down with a trailer while driving through Modesto. I found them nearby. They were beyond helpful. The owner drove me to a rental car, and even set up the rental for me. He locked my trailer up in his shop overnight and sent pictures. They fixed my truck the next day, and I was able to get it home. read more

I took my car there to get a diagnostic done. The mechanic said that he probably wouldn't get to it until monday and that it would sit in the shop until then. He said he would be taking it out for a test drive tho. I told him that it was fine. I dropped my car off at 12:30 pm on friday on my way to work. Fast forward to 11 pm when I'm leaving work.... What do I find in the parking lot? MY CAR! The OWNER decided to "TEST DRIVE" it to the building next to my job and play poker. The car was ice cold with frost on it.Windows fogged over. How is that test driving?? Am I crazy? Is this a legit business technique? You take customers cars out after hours to go play poker? Anyways, the police department said I can't file a complaint with them, as I technically gave him permission to use the car. I have to file civil complaint at the courthouse. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. I had an issue with my car and this was one of the few places I could find, that took my warranty on short notice. I showed them tons of pictures and videos of what was happening and even provided them with a code for the issue. They drove the car a few blocks and determined nothing was wrong and did no other tests...so much for a $200 diagnostic. Usually get my car fixed at the dealership but didn't have time to go and these guys were very flexible. Got an oil change for $150 and they told me my brakes and rotors needed to be changed as they were about to give out. Quoted me around $1000 for both front and rear. For something so costly, I'd rather get a second opinion from the dealership as they are the ones who usually work on my car. Find a day off to take it and tell them the issue, come to find that my brakes are like new and everything is perfect, I just needed brake fluid. I was being quoted for $1000 for a service I didn't need. Scammers and will not be coming back here again. Wanted to post this in case other people are looking for a trustworthy company to say that they do not treat new customers well. read more

Be careful if you bring your Honda here and ask for one of the maintenance checks because the price they give you apparently doesn't include everything like other shops do. Tim gave me a really good deal on a B14 service ($450), which is well below the going rate because he told me he wanted a return customer. I was charged for a "B" service of $340.83 for labor, then these costs were added which are normally part of the B14 service: 4 spark plugs at 19.99 each (79.96); new air and cabin filters at 29.99 each, even though he (Damian) told me there was no charge for those (I had just had them replaced at Mistlin Honda 6 months ago but the mechanic here said they were dirty); a drive belt for 52.99 (even though I told him it was replaced last summer at Mistlin Honda, but according to the mechanic it looked dry); plus the cost of the oil and drain plug for 44.19. My $450 quote ended up being $597.95 before tax. Maybe I should not have assumed that $450 for a B14 service would actually be $450... Nevertheless, I won't be returning. read more

Seems trustworthy! I went there to get my Volkswagen GTI repaired because I thought the dealer gave me the wrong info, they did try a fix but it didn't work out so they ended up only charging a base diagnostic fee which is understandable.
