This review is specifically for the service department…read more I've been coming here for quite some time, and working with Miguel has truly made all the difference. Out of all the service advisors I've encountered across Mercedes-Benz dealerships, he stands out as the most honest, detail-oriented, and consistent. He takes the time to answer every question thoroughly and keeps me updated throughout the entire process--which, in my experience, is not always the standard elsewhere. That level of transparency and communication is something I really value. The rest of the team is equally professional and welcoming! It's clear the department is well run. Car service is never something you look forward to, but Miguel makes it as seamless and stress-free as possible--which says a lot.

I went in for an oil change and there was a misunderstanding in terms of my gap issues "free oil change". Sabrina M. Had a bad attitude from the moment she walked up. 9:45 am and she looked beat down by life. She was RUDE!!! She didn't even say hello or smile! When the issue arises instead of explaining to me the problem she told me to call and let them explain. I asked for a supervisor they supervisor was out. There was no one else to help. I asked another worker for help and he directed me back to Sabrina. I went out the dirty make shift office door to call and see what the problem was with my "free oil change" and upon my return Sabrina was sitting there with the rest of the crew talking about me. She looked scared when she saw me. I again asked for a supervisor. I went ahead and canceled the appointmen. I called Fletcher Jones in New Port and they said come on in we got specials for you and we will treat you as a valued customer. My oil change is done. No thanks to Sabrina and her crew!! Stay away from House of Imports they are all disgusting!!! DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE!!

From the first conversation he was on point, even drove the car over an hour to my house just to deliver it. Truly white glove service. He deserves a promotion! Secondly, the rest of the team at Buena Park BMW did a great job. The hospitality throughout was legit. Lastly, the paperwork and process put in place by whoever schemed up AutoNation should engage with a process improvement team. Horrible. Pages, days, conversations. It's easier to buy a house today than a car through AutoNation. Ridiculous process. It's the definition of friction. People at the dealership - awesome. AutoNation process - horrible.

My car just needed an oil change at 14,000 miles, they told me I needed $570 of other work. Tire alignment, some oil additive, wiper additive, etc. All of this was recommended before they even looked at my car. Like an idiot I said okay to the alignment ($350) and no to everything else. There was no reason for the alignment as the car wasn't pulling and the tire trade was all the same. Well I just flushed money down the toilet. 1. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle the passenger a/c wasn't working and the windshield wipers would turn on. The car was at the dealership for over 3 weeks with no communication about when it'd be ready. I had to call repeatedly to find out an update. Additionally the loaner car the lent me was a dud and I had to come a swap it out. 2. Oil change went fine other than I dropped it off at 8am and treat said it'd be ready around noon. I didn't hear from them until 3pm. No respect for my time. 3. Charged gif things that didn't need to be done. When I made my appointment I was told it would be 1-2 hours, nope 2.5 hours snd a bill for $350 of stuff that didn't need to be done. Good bye BMW Buena Park.

As a nice bonus, CarStub also honored their referral program and gave him a $50 gift certificate for referring me. One of the biggest advantages for me was the convenience. As someone with a busy schedule, I appreciated that they came directly to me rather than requiring me to drive somewhere and spend hours waiting around. It made the entire process much easier to fit into my day. After providing some basic information over the phone, I scheduled a convenient time for them to come out and inspect the vehicle. Robert reached out ahead of time to let me know he was running earlier than expected, which I appreciated. Once he arrived, he took the time to explain the process and perform a thorough inspection. There was no pressure or hard-selling involved. If you have a realistic price range in mind, the negotiation process is straightforward and respectful. After agreeing on a price, we completed the paperwork on the spot, and I received payment the same day while arrangements were made to pick up the vehicle. What stood out most was the customer service. Robert needed one additional document after the sale and was willing to work around my schedule, even returning the following Monday to make the process as convenient as possible. Selling a car can often be stressful, but this experience was refreshingly hassle-free. Between the mobile service, same-day payment, and attentive customer service, I can see why they came highly recommended. If I ever need to sell another used vehicle, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Robert and the CarStub team again.

Highly recommend if you want a quick, clean, and well-run car selling experience.

WILL SELL YOU VEHICLE WITH POOR QUALITY TIRES!!!!!! NO REGARD TO YOUR SAFETY!…read more STAY AWAY FROM CARMAX ESPECIALLY BUENA PARK location. STAFF IS FINE SELLING VEHICLES AT SUBPAR because it falls within their BS policy. NO "GOOD FAITH" practices!!! Should have read their reviews before going in. Seems i'm not the only one that had issues with tires after purchase. Was smart enough to take vehicle to personal mechanic right after purchase to make sure vehicle wasn't a lemon. My trusted mechanic is the ones that found the cracks in tires. I knew the tread was subpar...but add cracked tires and it was concerning as I have long commutes for work. Called twice only to be told I'd get a call back and ghosted. So I drove back to buena park to speak to service manager. My concern was brushed off multiple times and they kept trying to show me how the treading met their policy requirements for "just good enough to pass." I kept telling them I was concerned about the cracks..not the poor quality treading. Employees/managers claim their policy BS rather than show "good faith" in actually resolving the issue. I was told "just return the vehicle"...as if the process of finding a vehicle, dealing with paperwork, wait time, and insurance was something i wanted to do all over again after thinking I finally secured a vehicle. The transmission never got flushed either..so I spent out of pocket to do that and new set of tires. Typical act nice enough to get you through the papers and then leave you high and dry if you have any issues. As a female the male staff treated me like I was an idiot and kept brushing my concerns off. I've had better experience at private dealer, but i guess to be expected from big name company.

I first test drove the car at AutoNation's Torrance (South Bay) location. I wasn't ready to buy it…read morethat day, and since I live in Orange County, I was told I could have the vehicle transferred to the Buena Park location when I decided to purchase it. Before buying, I specifically asked multiple times when the 5-day return guarantee would begin b/c I knew I would be purchasing the vehicle on one day and picking it up another. Everyone I spoke with, including employees at the Buena Park location, told me that it would begin when I picked up the car. When I arrived, I was told by Jose, the finance associate, that the 5-day period had actually started on the date I purchased it several days prior. Since It was a Saturday. That left me w/ only until Monday to decide whether to keep it. Not many auto shops are open on Sunday, b/c it was Saturday evening atp. I expressed my concern and addressed the contradiction. I was told, "I'm sure they'll honor it" if there were any issues, but when I asked for that assurance in writing, Jose refused. I asked to speak with a manager, but he sent in Ed, who he had just advised was not a manager and he also refused. Ed was actually one of the people who told me that my 5 days would start when I picked up the car. He denied this and advised that all calls are recorded. I asked if the transcripts could be pulled up in that case & he says that can't be done. I ask again for the manager and the next guy said he was the sales manager and he finally agreed to put it in writing and extend my return period by an additional two days. I had the car inspected shortly after & was advised to return it. Although my written extension gave me until Wednesday, I returned it on Monday. When I arrived, I was told I had "just made it" within the 5-day return period, which I found odd since I had documentation showing my deadline had been extended. I was then told I had also "just made it" under the 250-mile return limit. That didn't make sense b/c I had barely driven the car. When I asked what mileage they had recorded, I found that my purchase contract listed the exact same mileage that appeared in the online ad, meaning the mileage had never been updated after my test drive. I asked if they included the miles used to transport the vehicle from Torrance to Buena Park. He couldn't confirm, but it seemed to be the only explanation (for at least a fraction of the miles put on me). That's odometer fraud. I asked whether my cash down payment would be refunded to my debit card or by check. He couldn't answer that either. He said that he would find out the following day. When I didn't hear anything, I called on Wednesday. Jose checked on my return and emailed me confirmation that my down payment would be refunded to my debit card. However, I received no confirmation that the loan had been canceled or that the funds had been sent back to my lender. My online banking still shows the full loan amount. Since then, I've spent days trying to get answers. I keep getting transferred to vm after vm, and now my calls from my personal phone go directly to a general vm without reaching anyone. Yet, when I called from my work phone, I reached a person immediately. Once they realized who I was, I was transferred repeatedly. Then, I was put on hold by "JP" for over 30 minutes. When I asked for anybody available in finance. I called back and was told by Bruce that everyone from finance was in a meeting and he would be sure to have someone call me back (4 hours ago). They always act busy when I call, but every time I've gone in, it has been empty/slow. Atp, I've contacted AutoNation's corporate office and I'm waiting for a response. I'll write a separate review about what was wrong w/ the car, but my customer service experience w/ the purchasing, return, and communication process has been terrible. This was my third car that I bought from AN btw, and it will be the last. Update: it has been 24 hours since I've contacted corporate and heard nothing back yet. See my Google review for why I returned the car.
