I was just told that I was fucking sold a damn flood car and I didn't know what that meant so the gentleman was kind enough to tell me and told me not to put anymore money in to this piece of shit 2011 Equinox!!! I'm forced to keep driving and paying for a damn car that the title and car itself aren't worth shit. It can be sold for parts at best $1000 the Hendrix motors dealership said!! Thanks for robbing good hearted people you assholes!!

My husband and I decided to buy a truck from Covington Motors located in Virginia and worked with a…read moreman named Steve. We were SEVERELY disappointed. I will start this whole review with DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. They are very charming, give the small town spiel, the mom and pop vibe and act like they will bend over backwards to work with you from point A to B. Do NOT be fooled. They will screw you over. When going to the dealership initially we test drove a truck which seemed to be in perfect order, we had it checked out by Steve's mechanic and a few minor fixes had to be done. Now mind you, my husband had just come home from deployment from the Middle East and this man claimed to be former military and had an "obligation to treat him good". We spent our savings on this truck since my husband needs it to get to work in all weather (law enforcement). We were told we had 30 days or 1k miles to figure out any issues with the truck that they would fix. We went to the dealership, signed all the paperwork, picked up the truck drove it the 2 hours home and all the trouble started. First, the truck started shaking HORRIBLY. We took it for a diagnostic at a local dealership and got a list of things wrong; the rotors were completely shot, then the ball joints needed to be replaced (which is a 1200 dollar fix!), one of the hoses were leaking and this is just to name a few. Due to the vast majority of these issues the tires have been worn unevenly and will need fixing. Then the check engine light comes on! The AC does not even work without hitting it now! Essentially the truck was falling apart before our very eyes. We were both extremely upset; my husband immediately called and texted Steve who had sold us this truck and were told "its father's day we will deal with this after the weekend". Fine, the weekends over. After SEVERAL calls we finally get a hold of Steve telling him all the issues and the response we get is "it's not like I sold you a new truck". Then after my husband told him how unacceptable all this was we were told he could take it to HIS mechanics to fix and they would give us a "good price". Both my husband and I were shocked he would think we were fools enough to trust him or his mechanics with anymore of our money. Furious and heartbroken over being taken by what seemed to be an honorable dealer we are now dealing with a truck that is in serious disrepair. Please do not trust this man. Save yourself from what we are now going through. If this man is willing to con money out of a young soldier and his wife who JUST came home from a year in the Middle East, I can promise you he will take advantage of you. I am telling EVERYONE I know looking for a car AVOID this place like the plague. My husband is spreading the word to all his military and work buddies who are looking for new trucks now that they are home from deployment. I will be reporting them to the BBB for investigation. I can promise this dealership they messed with the wrong couple. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

Howdy y'all! George and the folks on his team were real easy to work with and talk to. Couple things to note, they only take wire transfers, money orders, or cashiers checks so my EFT, credit/ debit card folks are gonna be stuck unless you want to fly out there. I made my purchase on or about 3/20/26, and George even worked with me on getting set up with a shipper they'd planned to have come out towards my neck of the woods that following week, but unfortunately that fell through. I received the car as advertised on 4/18/26 after using Montway auto shipping via UShip and it is a beauty. All in all, the staff at ECAS was great, very patient with me because I'd called NUMEROUS times during the month after purchase for updates and such. I would just recommend that there be a little bit more explanation of what to expect when dealing with shipping companies and how long that process can take.

He did not disclose it. 2) The dashboard says the car has 87,XXX on the odometer but the ECM that was changed out says it has 155,xxx on the car. They know it I assure you as the garage staff is very skilled in knowing what they have and what they can change with parts from other cars. 3) The car was posted as "run & drive." Sure, but the motor, when it did run, was damaged due to the timing chain (It has 2 chains) being off by several teeth. (One chain was strong enough to power up the car but every second damaged the motor more.) Thus, the impact to the motor was catastrophic. Do NOT buy from East Coast Auto Source in Bedford, VA

The dealership never disclosed this damage. We reviewed the Tesla's dashcam footage and saw employees pointing at and discussing the damage before the sale--clearly aware of the issue. We informed the salesperson and followed up daily for over two weeks, but they ignored us and offered no resolution. On top of that, it took three months to receive our permanent license plate. Greenbriar Ford failed to submit the paperwork because they did not have the title to the car when they sold it. We had to drive back to the dealership and wait hours in person just to get the plate. This kind of deceptive behavior and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Greenbriar Ford knowingly sold us a damaged vehicle and then ghosted us when confronted with evidence. If you're considering buying a car here, be extremely cautious--inspect every inch of the vehicle yourself and don't expect any support after the sale.
