You would drive by this place and not give it a thought. Even if you did notice it, there would be no compelling reason to stop. By not stopping, you would miss out on a great pizza. Carasella's isn't exactly near anything - it's off a nondescript exit on 30. It's tiny. But the pizza is anything but. I had 5 big guys packing a U-haul at home and they needed to be fed. I ordered two XL pizzas with a variety of toppings. The pizzas were ready in about 15 minutes and arrived curbside actually steaming. I barely made it home without digging in. This was some really great pizza - the cheese and toppings plentiful, the sauce was a little tangy and a little sweet and that crust - wow! It was hand tossed but a little bit thicker than what I'd normally expect. The crust around the edges was even a little breadlike and I mean that in a good way. It was great! Even with 5 hungry fellows (plus me!), we still had a couple of pieces left over for this morning's breakfast (cold, of course). Overall Food is great, but location is a bit creepy. Food: Pizza is medium thick with a sweeter sauce. Also got a steak salad COVERED in fries, cheese and steak. Well worth the $6.99. Location: Before arriving I struggled with their website because the menu can not be enlarged. I had to just guess at what they had when I called to order. While waiting for my food in the lobby I saw the neighbor creeping around the parking lot, a very unclean appearing delivery driver pulling out to make a delivery while smoking and lots of bugs in the lobby. None of this stopped me from eating the food and I am still alive to tell you I would order it again. Double bonus: It's the perfect distance from 4 Seasons brewery so the food is just cool enough to eat after you order your beer. read more

So there's a lot of pizza joints in Latrobe and this is one of them...they have your same menu items you would find at your local pizza or bar location that's just okay...there is not a lot of variety or things I can say that would make it stick out from the rest...the pizza has a cornmeal on the bottom of it and the sauce is a sweet sauce but nothing that really pops out at you...then there is the presentation of how it's done or delivered to you and a couple of times I've had sauce on the containers flour covered on my appetizer boxes just kind of a sloppy presentation but for flavor again nothing that stands out or makes me want to go to them as my pizza of the week...so yeah three stars for middle of the pack...it's just there read more

My sister swears by their pizza... now I must say that the only reason that I gave them 4 and not 5 stars is that their sauce wasn't exactly what I prefer on a pizza. First time I've had Carasella's. Pizza and wings were both good. The pizza however was very sloppy and not cut thoroughly so that made eating the pizza slightly difficult. Based on taste alone, this is one of the better pizzas in Latrobe. Wings were large and had lots of meat. Sweet and hot didn't have enough heat for my taste. Only downfalls were the very long wait time for delivery and the sloppy pizza. Will definitely be back. read more

The sauce is way too sweet also even though the CDC has lifted Covid restrictions the delivery person will not bring it to your door ( I live in a high rise ) all the other places deliver to your door. And even FedEx and Amazon delivery to your door. I will never order from them again. And the delivery guy ( Joe ) took it upon himself to stand outside with residence that was sitting on the benches and complained that it was taking me too long to get downstairs to get my pizza and he also was complaining that he did not want to get Covid yet he was standing with at least eight people from this building talking about me to them. I called to speak to the owner Stephanie however she seems to be on vacation until the 16th which I find that funny because he told me she was at the shop. Nice people and great pizza. I love to stop here when I'm in the area to grab a couple slices for lunch. Crisp crust with just a touch of sweetness in their sauce makes for a tasty slice. Definitely worth a stop. Price is great too. read more

We stopped here after a visit to Idlewild. It was the only pizza place around open after 9. The pizza was amazing and the service was awesome. They didn't have interior seating but they have a picnic table and well lit outdoor area. They brought us the pizza and plates to our table. I wish we had a spot like this by our house. read more

Carasella's white pizza the best in town for sure, it may even be the best I've ever tasted! Cheese pizza is pretty good; the crust is amazing and the sauce is on the sweeter side. 2-18-17 Went here for the first time today. The sauce had to much oregano. The crust and toppings were really good.

Now this is some good pizza. Not the biggest pie in town but damn is it tasty! I seem to have a hard time placing an order though, being put on hold for 5 minutes or more multiple times won't work for most people. I still love the taste of your pizza! I'm glad I found the place. read more
