Cheers to Rocco's for being a long-term staple in the community and supporter of local causes. With that being said, this was our 1st visit, so I realize my opinion isn't going to be based on multiple experiences. However, Rocco's didn't knock us out. Basically, we were hungry, we ate, and that was it. Location is convenient. Service was helpful and efficient, but we doubt if our travels end up here again. I am happy to read that others are fans of their food, but for prices paid, we will lean towards somewhere else. read more

I've ordered from Rocco's a couple of times now, and they don't seem to skip a beat. Rocco's by far has the best pizza in the area! The Zeppole Fried Dough are a chefs kiss as well. The service was really nice and they had really good recommendations. When I went to pick my food up I really enjoyed the Rocky Balboa theme they have going on inside. Rocco's is one of the few places that delivers where I work on the weekends (And I can't leave the site to go pick something up), so unless I want chain pizza they're pretty much the place I'm ordering from. They offer a huge menu which is both good and a bad thing. Each cook makes things different and this is one of the reasons why we stopped ordering there. They make nice specialty pizzas that are always a hit at our house. I enjoy their calzones. Ur the past year they started skimping on ingredients and price is very high for what you get. The staff are usually teenagers working the desk which is bad for business. They play on phones and have bad attitudes. I recommended getting delivery if you are to try from here and get a speciality pizza. read more

Ive ordered from this place for many years. Food is good but their online ordering is horrible. They tack on like 3 different charges before you even leave a tip. They should just raise their prices and quit this deceptive practice. Plan on adding around 4 or 5 dollars to menu price before you even leave tip. I also believe they charge extra if you use a card now. Pizza is hit or miss and inconsistent....some times it's perfect and sometimes it's over cooked. Hoagies are pretty good,just really pricey with all the add on fees. I'm going to take a break from this establishment until they get their act together. More places from Greensburg and Norvelt are delivering to youngwood and don't charge all the add on fees and their pizza is excellent. read more

Great! We ordered a couple of their Mama Mia pizzas for a birthday party and when I ordered the lady that took my order had asked if it was for a party. She offered to decorate the boxes and I can't believe what a wonderful job they did, soooo cute. The pizza showed up right on time and I was able to pay with card at the door. This has been a very consistent long running fan favorite pizza shop. But don't come here just for the pizza they have many other offerings yeah but I believe we've tried just about all of them. Everything here is good. Consistently. Even when they are slammed busy they seem to put out a good product and somehow are able to deliver to a very large area. I always like to say it places are worth seeking out or just good for a stop if you're in the area. This place is worth seeking out. If you do come here definitely get more than just pizza. It gets four stars due to the aforementioned. For me and my favorite pizzas tend to be woodfired what places with super high end ingredients tend to only be in large cities. If I was rating some of their sides the place would get five stars. The crust is a slightly thicker crust I wouldn't call it a true thin crust, The cheese combo is fire and the sauce is decent. toppings are of a better quality than what you might get from a large chain or some lesser pizzerias. The amount of toppings works perfectly well with what they are creating. definitely try this place, and as an added tip there are plenty of parks and a college nearby if you're looking for a interesting place to enjoy your pizza. read more

Youngwood is my favorite town. Pizza places have came in and none of have made a stand like Rocco's. He's just really creative with his menu. I'm a huge fan of his Burger n Fry pie. It's three cheases, burger meat, and french fries on dough. It's so good! Also, holy fluff are their wings delicious! Get it seasoned with hot sauce on the side and you are in for a ride! As for the staff I've never had a problem with them and nor has any of my friends or family. So if you're in the mood for some pizza. Go here. read more

We really like their pizza, but they are inconsistent with delivery. We live 4.8 miles from their shop and depending on who answers the phone, sometimes they deliver to us and other times it's suddenly too far and "who ever took the call should have told us that in the first place." Also, they have a 16 year old girl answering the phone who makes you feel like you're speaking in another language when you try to give her your information. She just hands the phone to someone else and says "I have no idea what they're talking about." Then, after being made to feel foolish, we'd have to repeat the entire order and delivery info, and again it could go either way with the delivery. If these things had happened once or twice, normally we'd overlook it, but it's happened enough that we only order if we're going through the town. But there are other places nearby that also need our business so we support them instead. It's unfortunate. ******** Rocco, thanks for replying! Im a truck driver and i got stick in ruffs dale pa for the night. They were verry noce on the phone and were verry timely in ordering a delivery pizza and garlic bites to my truck. I felt bad leaving a sucky tip but i was down to my last 26 bucks and i had no choice. For their patience on my late night order i give them 4 stars. My girlfriend and I had just put in our order for a medium pizza and bread bites. As the waitress was totaling up our order, some delicious pepperoni pizza came out and was available for pizza-by-the-slice purchasing. Needless to say, we canceled our order and bought out the by-the-slice supply. Two slices and a drink can be had for $5.50, which is a great value. So, we were pretty happy with our purchase. The pizza is quite good and was pipin' hot. I also love the decor at Rocco's. Boxing memorabilia is everywhere, and I really enjoyed looking at the pictures. This place has been around for like 8 years and I had no idea that they were there or had even tried their pizza. Thankfully some friends recommended it and I had a pizza a few months back. I'm very particular about my favorite dough and sauce, and I prefer the sweeter variety. While not overly sweet, it was just perfect and I am happy that they use fresh mushrooms instead of canned. The local hotel recommended Rocco's. I ordered three items: a well-done cheese pizza, well-done italian hoagie and a large salad. The gentleman who took my order was friendly, repeated back my order and gave me a total. He said it would be to my room within the hour. Sure enough, within 50 minutes, the order arrived -- delivered by the guy who took my order. He had my itemized receipt, paper plates, plastic ware, everything. The pizza was well-cooked, has a nice texture but I don't love the sauce. Not bad -- just not wonderful. The hoagie: oh -- delicious !! A little bit of lettuce but mostly well-cooked cheese and meat. Could have been cooked a smidgen longer but excellent texture and flavor. The dressing on the side was awesome !! The salad was great: fresh-tasting, nice-looking and with plenty of things besides lettuce. I'm happy -- great job with my order. This by far is one of the best pizza's I've ever had! The small is a good size for 1-2 if you are trying to do 2-3 slices each!! The crust is thin, soft and taste like heaven by itself! I drizzled a little ranch over it to give the fries an extra humph and it was everything!! Delivery was super fast so the food was nice and warm! I also ordered hot wings it was good size, I'm not a big fan of the whole chicken wing attached (but i hear most people like that!) and if the wings were tossed in the sauce or more sauce that would of enhanced the wings! But overrall they were cooked well, and 6 is enough for 2 pp bc the wings are big!! Good Spot!! read more

They deliver and we're staying in the Econolodge in New Stanton we couldn't have picked a better place . We had salads 2 nights in a row , all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The first night we ordered online and they delivered within 45 minutes , the next night we ordered online early and gave them a time to deliver our meal later, they were here right on time . I don't get the hate on here. Rocco's pizza is pretty good. Some of the reviews claim it used to be better. That may very well be true, but it is still the best in Youngwood, and if you want pizza without travelling to Greensburg, I say that is a merit in its own right. I've ordered several different kinds of pizza and salads here. They deliver to my work quite often. In general, they make pretty decent pizza. No real complaints. As I said, there are better places in Greensburg...much better... but these guys are in Youngwood, which would be a total dump if not for them and maybe 1-2 other places. PS - there is usually a wait for sit-in food. If you don't like it, call ahead. It's not that hard. Also, yes the utensils and such are plastic/paper/styrofoam. Don't expect porcelain dishware here. They are primarily a pizza delivery shop. read more
