Always great service and excellent food, my new favorite for East Indian food. All 3 of us really enjoyed our meals.

An absolute gem for authentic Indian food in Bellingham…read more Went for dinner on 8/19 - walking in we noticed all around great vibes, from the smells to the ambience to the Bollywood music and videos playing. It's clear thought and care has been put into the experience here. We were seated immediately by the friendly host/server. We ordered the recommended Gobi 65 cauliflower appetizer, garlic naan, our standard Butter Chicken, and the house specialty Chicken Chettinad (all medium spicy on the 3-point scale we were offered). Everything was absolutely delicious. The Gobi 65 was pretty spicy relative to the other dishes but still soooo good. To our surprise the Chicken Chettinad was the standout dish and one we'd highly recommend (and would order every time we return). Excellent experience overall and a place we'll definitely include in the local rotation. Highly recommend!

The garlic naan was store bought, cold, and with a quick brush with ghee and a little garlic. The naan were probably store bought. The saamosas were good. My delivery omitted the mango lassi. For $60 I expect far far better than this. No one would dare serve food this bad in India.

I was not expecting this restaurant to be as big as it is. The space here is truly massive, and…read morewhile it was mostly empty when we came at around 2:30 - I can picture the hubbub of activity that would be present during peak dinner hours. This does seem to be a highly recommended place to eat Indian food in Surrey. I had the Non-Veg Thali, which isn't on the menu, but the waitress helpfully let us know about. It's very customizable - and I went with garlic naan, rice, two tandoori chicken pieces, lamb vindaloo, and shahi paneer - all in a single plate! Pretty much everything was excellent. I'm not even sure where to start. The garlic naan was fantastic. Soft, buttery, with just a slight hint of garlic and lightly charred on the outside. I could honestly eat this by itself and be satisfied. Garlic naan is a staple of what I order whenever eating Indian food, and this might be the best one I've had. The shahi paneer was also great; tomato-forward, creamy, and the paneer was super soft. The lamb vindaloo was a real standout. It was immensely flavorful - not lacking for spice at all - but you don't just taste capsaicin - you taste all the cumin, cardamom, and garam mixed in with the curry. But the lamb itself is the best part of the curry; it's so tender and juicy. The absolute peak, though, was the tandoori chicken. These were two large dark meat pieces, which were cooked to absolute perfection - retaining so much juice and fat. The skin was a perfect deep orange, seasoned with a ton more spices. It's like eating fried chicken but without the breading, but this was arguably even better. The masala fries were the only thing kind of a miss - as they lacked any masala. The price of the thali was only 23 CAD. That's a pretty insane deal for how much food you get - I was unable to finish everything on my plate despite being very hungry. Honestly two people could share this and be satisfied. When you consider how much sharing and new orders for bread, rice, and curries goes on at your typical Indian restaurant, this is crazy good value. Overall, I would classify this as the best Indian food I've had outside of Asia. 9.5/10

I mean mild was really spicey. I can't imagine what hot must be like. In the 60s when we got the first Indian restaurants they didn't know how to make it mild and you would really burn your mouth. It reminds me of those days. I used to love it in those days but as I careen towards 70 I can't take the heat any more. Still, this is the best Indian food - on a par with the amazing Vij's and Swad, our new North Van go to. It was good in North Vancouver in it's divey little location, it is fabulous now in its glitzy new store. So many different and interesting spices. Bravo Vaades or whatever you're called now. Who came up with India's Most Wanted anyway? Sounds like a psychokiller. Qu'est-ce que c'est. Must be referring to what you get when you ask for it extra spicey.

This time I ordered the salad, it was literally a container of mush, swimming in dressing topped with bottom of the bag broken cheese Doritos. (I actually called them to see if they actually served Doritos on their salads and yup) The salad says "comes with fried tortillas chips" I keep trying to give these guys a chance as I know it's considered a cheap place to order plus covid and all but for three people it still cost me nearly $70! Definitely the last time we will be ordering from here. I'm so not a picky person with almost anything but this I dumped in my green waste bin.
