    Chicken Tikka and Chicken Biryani

It looks to be a husband and wife team. A small operation with a little wait on the food. However, it's worth the wait. The garlic naan seems to be made from scratch. It was light and flavorful. The chicken tikka masala and biryani were both delicious. The sauce was very delicious. If you're in the area or just passing by, it's a nice meal when you visit this place.

Went back... the steam table was nice and steaming! Niit was so nice & pleasant to talk to. Very knowledgeable on food safety. They are getting new sneeze guards soon. They also make fresh brewed tea to order.. like a chai tea.. my favorite so far of all the Indian restaurants I have tried .. not too sweet.. perfect balance of spice and slight sweetness! Also, the Butter Chicken wasn't over sweetened like some places do.. very yummy!

Best butter chicken I've had in the USA . Very well balanced Somoas were out standing. And the garlic nann was on point ! Must come back again

Chana Masala was available at the buffet!

A fantastic Mom and Pop restaurant, the buffet is perfection! Filled with crowd pleasing options: tandoori chicken, chana masala (my favorite!), Aloo gobhi, veggie pakora, dal makhni, chicken makhan, rice, and MANY other options! Plus one I've never had before, chili chicken (which my step-Dad crowned as his favorite!). I wasn't aware that the meal came with naan, so we ordered the garlic naan. I'm glad that we did because the plain naan was good, BUT the garlic naan was even more buttery with plenty of parsley and garlic! Just a soft pillow of deliciousness! I also ordered a chai that came out piping hot, but mellowed throughout the meal and was PERFECT! There's nothing like buttery naan and chai to put you in good spirits! I was very excited to add on some tamarind sauce (the best balance of sweet and sour). For $16.99 it's an INCREDIBLE value to sample their menu and to bring a friend who may not be familiar with Indian food. The spice level was mild for the buffet (except perhaps for the chili chicken... BUT, it's in the name!). Hoping more folks come out to support this Mom and Pop new restaurant. The staff was SUPER friendly and kind! GO CHECK THEM OUT! =)

We've been wanting to try this place to compare to Abbotsford and Surrey Indian restaurants and it did not disappoint!!! The food was fantastic! Firstly the service was great. Got to meet the owner Sundeep (Sundy) and she went over the menu and what were her favourites. Her husband, Mitt, is the chef. We had the veg pakoras which were fried perfectly, mostly veg ( potato spinach cauliflower) not mostly batter, super light, and came with a sprinkle of chaat spice on top and two dipping sauces ( the mint one and the sweeter one that usually comes with samosa). The Lahori goat was so savoury with a dark rich sauce. My husband was in heaven. Saag paneer outstanding. Aloo gobi. But the standout for me was the Chili chicken appetizer! Perfectly spiced at a level 4. The naan was also good, we had the usual butter and the peshwari which was better than I've had in the UK! The rice was also the way I like it where every grain is separate and flavoured with cumin seed. Ended with gulab Jamin, IYKYK, which was the only thing not made from scratch, but still pretty tasty. The chef came out mid meal to chat with us and ask how we liked his food. He mentioned to us that his beer, wine and whiskey selections are all from India. We usually get the TajMahal or Kingfisher beer but tonight we tried the Flying Horse Lager. Super refreshing and perfect with the meal. We had leftovers to take home but I'm already planning to go back and try the usual suspects like butter chicken and samosa. A great addition to the Ferndale food scene.

Authentic. Amazing service. Owner is very caring and gave samples to customers of their mango lassi. Very interested in the salted lassi in the future. The chili chicken was AMAZING. perfect app. Perfect spice. They rate spicy scale 1-5. We got 3 as it was a new place to try and gauge their levels. It was great but I think next time I will get level 4 as it was semi mild to me. Great presentation and I LOVE that the dishes came with rice or butter naan and you didn't have to add them in as a surcharge!!!! Will be back. Best Indian in Whatcom county for sure.

So here we are at the Silver Reef Casino. An open area outside of the crowds. We called the local number to make our reservations and to avoid these online reservations agencies that just inflate the prices. We ended up with a nice hotel with clean rooms. Our room has queen size beds with a medium firmness. This room is clean and spacious. It has a large flat screen TV, a decent sized mini fridge, a dresser for those of us who like to unpack. The A/C unit heats nicely. There is a large vanity for the bathroom and the tub shower offers shampoo and body wash. The bonus to staying at a casino hotel is the addition of security. Less worries about your car. Then there's the restaurants that are available, here there are 5. So there it is, well kept rooms, plenty of free, secure parking, and on site restaurants as well as some adult entertainment before getting some shut eye. Much more relaxing here instead of being in the crowded big cities with minimal parking.

Instead of engaging and having fun with the players , they bitched and complained about where we tossed our bets on the table. I have played craps at every casino in WA and never had this happen 5 of us left the table because it was dry and boring to play. Played a few slots really tight so bailed quick. Definitely not a great place to test your luck on slots lol Overall was $500 total for 2 hotel nights so nor bad but the casino is not worth it unfortunately. One thing that was also annoying was the line for the ATMs serious figure that shit out and get more ATMs half of the were "out of service " I would 100% spit this place for Tulalip or angel of the winds any day !

We had such a wonderful experience that we came back to celebrate our anniversary three years in a row. Funny enough, we always seem to get seated in the same booth and have had the pleasure of the same great service each time. The COVID years were the only time we didn't go. Tip: Order the tomahawk to share--it's the best dish hands down on the menu, in my opinion. The fat is perfectly charred, and the meat just melts in your mouth. Tip #2: Get the crème brûlée for dessert--you won't regret it. Must order: Brussels sprouts appetizer, green salad, Caesar for two, and the New York steak. Skip: Ribeye steak, escargot, and the seafood tower. Before the main courses, they provide a palate cleanser, which is a really nice touch. Reservations are recommended, but I've seen people walk in after an evening at the casino and get a table with only a short wait. There's a bar nearby where you can grab a drink while you wait.

Street parking, 2hr free was easy to find before noon on a Monday. Chicken Palak spinach, ordered medium spice had just enough flame on the tongue, totally edible just not memorable with little pronounced spices other than heat. Pieces of chicken were moist and about 8 good size pcs. Downside for lunch is the same menu goes through dinner, so its pricey $13.99 Chicken and 15.99-17.99 Lamb, but includes rice, 4 triangles of nicely charred naan, raita, and a soup--a spicy black urad and pinto type bean. Still with a drink $4 Lassi and tip = $22.00 for one person, so we split an entree which should be aok if both aren't mega hungry or you take leftovers for dinner. Would liked to have tried another red curry were a more reasonable lunch price available. As expected it was a ghost town, being the sole diners. Since the doors are open, would be a better business model to make it an $7-10 meal deal with a chai or lemonade to bring the lunch crowd in, with everything on one plate, scaling down on dishware and portions. Took 15-20 mins, as only customers, so not a quick stop if you are in a lunch hurry. Server, Cashier, Cook were the owners I assume, and very nice and personable. The dining room has nice murals and comfortable booths, some Indian music would of been nice. Could hear faint commentary from a soccer game instead. There is a bar attached, dark at lunch. Dining room restroom was busy so I had the displeasure of using the grimy bar restroom, no seat covers, missing garbage can, pink industrial soap with cobweb, and mop bucket. The access is restricted to these employees...so no public access. I believed the facility first opened in 2002 and I have attended on numerous occasions in the past 15 years. The staff are pleasant and attentive...there are employees still here since it first opened. When overnighting at PRTC, the meal plan is part of the accommodation package, which means you take three meals a day here. Drinks are self serve and include coffee, soft drinks, juices and chocolate milk. Breakfast is by far my favourite meal here as they normally have an omelette station, plenty of fresh fruit, and they always have bacon. Toss in a toasted bagel (they have a bread/self serve toasting station) with cream cheese and a coffee, and I am good. There are several other breakfast options. Breakfast hours are 6:30-08:00. Lunch is a little challenging as there are often plenty of commuters (those not overnighting) on training that lunch at the establishment which may result in waits for food or drink. The dining options are carb heavy (always a pasta) with usually two proteins (beef/chicken/pork/fish), a pizza option, soup and a salad bar. Dinner is quite similar to lunch just without the pizza option and with less people...only those overnighting. Dinner hours are 17:00-19:00 (5 pm - 7 pm). Understanding this is not a fine dining establishment, I do unfortunately, still find most of the food bland and lacking any taste/flavour. When we got to our table we went to check out the buffet - only shrimp dish was a crusted fried shrimp, not the multiple options listed. Then we checked our receipt and saw all six of us were charged $37.95! We hadn't paid attention at the time - one guy paid for his and his 3 guests and he assumed it covered all six of us, but then my husband showed him our receipt - $37.95 each. We asked for the Prime Buffet manager and some woman came over and said they didn't know where the manager was but they couldn't issue a refund, that there was some kind of 'internal marketing issue.' We insisted on speaking to her supervisor, and she sent over the casino shift manager, who also said he didn't know where the manager was. Told us we should have said something when we paid and that since we had already eaten some CRAB (2 out of the six of us) there was nothing he could do. Of course, showing him the website photo and a picture of the sign outside did nothing. He was incredibly rude, told us we should just stop eating and leave and he would issue a $35 credit on one person's club card, nobody else's. Of course, we had come in just for the shrimp special, had driven all that way and were not about to leave without eating, especially since it wasn't even a full refund of the $13.00 price difference. And the worst part? The card holder went to cash out when we left, and she was told there was ZERO on her card - so he lied to us. I sent an email to the Casino via their website on the following Monday morning, and here it is two days later and they haven't even bothered to reply. The roast pork and the chicken were dry, and the only decent thing there were the desserts. NEVER GOING BACK.
