If you want to be drained financially then Carden Place Apartments is for you. Last year the rent was raised slightly above the cost of living but this year it was raised almost 3 times above the cost of living. Do not rent here if you are on a fixed income!!! Morgan properties is a greedy company. Shame on them. They haven't done anything to improve the quality of the inside of the apartments. Having food trucks come by is not a perk. Food trucks are extremely expensive! This was a nice place when I moved in but it has gone downhill over time. There is a problem with moisture and I need an industrial de-humidifier to keep the place from feeling like the Amazon. No consideration has ever been given for this problem. You will not be happy if you rent a place here. I am disabled, I don't own a car and I'm in my 70's. I do not have the resources to move so I am stuck. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. So much age and race discrimination. Non communicated mystery charges. Mold reported that was never addressed putting my family in harms way and adds unwarranted charges upon move out. The staff especially Sherry refuses to be of any assistance but does everything to deflect and make the matter worse. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They are horrible. read more

Carden Place is not the place for you. I'm a current resident and future ex resident. I've lived here for almost 2 years and the community has gone down hill quickly. The apartments are cheaply constructed. The walls are so thin you can hear everything your neighbors do. If you have someone living above you just hope you get someone that isn't rude and inconsiderate. I'm currently writing this at 12:52 a.m. because I'm awake due to my rude and inconsiderate upstairs neighbors that live there like they live in a house. You can hear every footstep they take. Every item they drop. Every word they say. Every toilet seat they drop. It's ridiculous. Yeah yeah it's apartment living there is supposed to be noise. That's what management and the police will tell you. I don't make that kind of noise. I'm considerate of my neighbors. I have so much to say that I'll probably update with a sequel review. I moved a lot as a kid for all types of reasons so I can't stand moving but I cannot wait to move out of this place. We even tried to get out of the lease so we didn't have to deal with the noise anymore but they wouldn't let us out of it. We were given two options. Move into a bigger more expensive unit or buy out the lease. Times are hard right now. Everything costs more. My mother who is disabled and retired lives with me. Those two options were not options at all. Like I said I have a lot more to say and I will give you all the details on Carden Place. I'm still waiting on a call from the regional manager. I called and left her a message a couple of weeks ago and she hasn't bothered to return my call. Go figure. Spend your hard earned money on a home that doesn't feel like a prison. Carden Place used to be a great place to live, but since Morgan Properties bought it they have gone downhill fast. They care so much about the way the outside looks, but treat the current tenants horrible. It is expensive to live here for nothing. They make you pay $85 to collect garbage and they don't even pick it up. All of the gym equipment is broken. I have had my mail stolen countless times. They gave a 24 hour notice that they were going to change the smoke detectors, and then came and switched every faucet head so that we have essentially NO WATER PRESSURE. They did that so they can save money on their water bill while finding more things to nickel and dime us for. There has been a used needle in the bushes for weeks now outside my building, people have kids here. There is litter in the singular small dog pen area. The apartment in itself isn't a nice apartment- especially for what they are charging. I hope you don't like sleeping in either, because bright in early every other day they mow the lawns and blow leaves. They used a leaf blower at 7:30 AM in the HALLWAYS. (There are no leaves on the third floor, believe it or not.) Woke up to it. They make sure they spend all your money on new signs and dorky adult bikes nobody asked for or use, I mean I could understand for the kids but really? Morgan Properties bought the apartments and started charging $400 more for less. Moving out asap, it's only getting worse. Do not move here, especially if you have kids. read more

This place is the absolute worst place to live since Morgan Properties bought it. I've had nothing but issues from getting threatened with eviction even though my rent is always paid a week in advance, I had $26 of unpaid fees that didn't cycle until the first of the month so a letter was left on my door threatening eviction. The place is full of trash, smells like weed and not to mention the unruly gangs of teens but what would you expect from a place that charges a ridiculous rent and fees and allows section 8. Please check your monthly fees because for months now they've been "accidentally" sneaking in extra fees. You are forced to have Spectrum for $95 a month and the internet hardly works so hope you don't depend on the internet for your job. You can't buy your way out of the lease either you are stuck here until end of lease. I feel trapped in this not overpriced hell hole. read more

I have to agree with the previous reviews. I used to love living here, it's went down hill since Morgan properties bought the property. These upgrades, such as backsplashes in some apartments are ugly and don't match anything. Not everyone got new counter tops. However, the counter tops are also ugly and don't match the outdated cabinets. They removed the playground to build another one that's also ugly. Nobody uses the bikes! They are also making previous residents get rid of their washer and dryers to get their ugly washer and dryer included in the lease. U can either pay for storage, sell it or have them discard it. Let's not talk about the nasty attitude of the office Manager!! It's the worst! They recently came into my apartment without giving a notice for inspection. I can home to see a letter on my counter top. Wasn't gone 15min. It may seem cheaper than the rest apartments, but take into consideration the apartments are outdated, and they make u pay amenity fees such as cable and internet, and trash pickup and its not always picked up. read more
