Only 4-Stars due to the staff being somewhat "pushy" with regards to selling us (wife & I) new glasses. We went in explaining we are retirees on Medicare with Aetna Insurance (supplemental). One of the staff members checked our medical coverage and immediately said we needed to pay $39.00 each for the exams. My wife explained that we shouldn't be charged due to our age and we are diabetic (this exam being our annual check-up), and we've never been charged before. She then checked again and came back and said, "Oh, your exams are free". I understand that LensCrafters is in the business to make money, but being retired and on fixed incomes we cannot afford $400+ for glasses (each). The person assisting us was somewhat reluctant to give us our prescriptions, but my wife was persistent and we obtained copies of our prescriptions. Nice selection of frames with high-class names (Ray Ban, Stetson, etc.), but when you add up the costs of new frames ($188-$200+) and lenses, they quickly become cost prohibitive. As stated in the begging of this review, Dr. Pham was knowledgeable and great to talk with. We'll more than likely be back next year for our annual exams.

I did have to go through my PCP for the necessary MRI before I was able to schedule an appt with his office, but everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and friendly. Upon being examined by Dr. Shonnard, he was warm, friendly, professional and thorough. I've since seen 3 more doctors to add more opinions to the mix and none of them have been as thorough in their assessments and examinations. He explained what was going on in my neck, what his believed my main option is and why, patiently answered what questions I had, requested that I schedule a followup appt and sent me home with a very clear letter explaining exactly what the operation entailed and what the risks could be. I was encouraged to do additional research and come back to the followup with any other questions. My husband was present for both the first and followup appts and between those appts I did get a second opinion (which was the complete opposite). Dr. Shonnard was still very warm, and very thorough and confident in his decision and was able to clearly explain why he thought his surgical approach would be superior to the second opinion's approach. He answered all the questions we'd come up with after reading the letter and doing research. Because of the aggressive nature of this surgery, I'm still waffling on getting it, but my pain and symptoms are increasing rapidly and my 4th opinion has brought me full circle to believing that it really is my best option. Every other surgeon I've seen has spoken highly of Dr. Shonnard and he is well known and respected in his field.

And the staff was very friendly and personable. Plus they took several steps to make me comfortable and at easy since I am not the best patient when it comes to needles. The front desk staff Martha and Mandy are also amazing medical receptionist. They are knowledgeable and friendly and treat every patient with respect and integrity! I went for my first visit today and I was so nervous but it went well…read more The clinic itself is clean, quiet with no weird smells. Believe it or not, my prior clinic back in Tennessee frequently smelled like fast food and the nurses there were very loud with their conversations and jokes. Not the case here. Sign in and paper work was quick and easy and the lady at the front desk was nice. Wait time in the waiting room was only about 10 minutes. A nurse called me, took my wait, asked my history and answered all my questions. She was also friendly as well. When the nurse left the room the doctor arrived in about 5 minutes to examen me...very short wait! Sorry if it's too much info but I requested a Pap Smear along with my physical and she was very gentle...Im sure you ladies can appreciate that info. Not even a little pain or discomfort. She also told me I had a tilted cervix which...in my many years of seeing doctors in the past, no one has ever told me that so I'm pleased w/ all the information she gives. The employees all seem to really care about the patients. The doctor I saw was Dr Wang...yes...Dr Wang gave me an amazing Pap Smear...go figure...haha. Ok...seriously though it was a good visit and hopefully the rest of my care is this good for the rest of my time here. They accept Tricare.

I was referred to him by my…read morefiancé and have never had to look for another Dr. Dr. Nguyen is understanding, compassionate and totally on top of his game. His office hours are on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Most of all, this is a physician who listens and is not "mechanical." If you are looking for a fantastic physician to take care of you and your family, you will be hard pressed to get anyone as knowledgeable as Dr. Nguyen.

Let me start with excellent service up to today. I got out of surgery at 9am. Their system is down…read moreso they can send in my script pain meds. I live in Olympia. (Closest surgeon to take my insurance). Now I am in incredible pain so I am going to write this right now so surgeons and staff can appreciate the experience of getting out of surgery without pain meds called in or filled. I had no idea their system was down until around 10:30am, four hours after checking in, when the thick sweat of agony began forming at my hairline. My driver took me 45 min to my local pharmacy. It wasn't called in. Called the office, oh our system is down. It wasn't working yesterday either. We have a paper copy for you to pick up. So after major surgery, this acquaintance is supposed to drive me right back and do another 90 min trip because it just occurred to the office scripts were not getting transmitted to pharmacies. Well, we hope it will be fixed by tomorrow. Have you ever recovered from surgery without meds? Sleeping with no meds after surgery? I am sorry to say this is the third time and for the exact same reason: it was forgotten. Different doctors but this appears to be a reoccurring problem for this profession. I make my kids do their homework the night before. I make sure the bag packs are by the door in the morning. Get my gist? I can't sleep and can't eat in this much pain. I am also a single mom of 3. My parents are boomers so they won't help because it interferes with their Colombo reruns. I really depend on professionals to be professionals and consider my wellbeing. I am depending on you to help me through a very rough process. Right now I cannot recommend Puget Sound Orthopaedics based on the inability to ensure I don't unnecessarily suffer.
