I was referred to this office by my primary doctor for follow up on a Calcium Test. Upon arrival, the lobby was packed with patients. The staff assigned at the check in window was curt with me at check in, but I figured she was busy and let it go. Once in, the appointment was fine, but the trouble is with any type of follow up customer service. I was prescribed a particular medication in mid January. It is now almost March and I still dont have it. When I check with my pharmacy, they state the medication has been sent back several times for physician authorization. I have called that office a total of seven times now over just as many weeks, only to be told it will be taken care of or that the insurance denied it. I checked with my insurance provider to discover they have never been contacted by CAVA about this. I really don't appreciate the stress from a CARDIAC OFFICE when just trying to get the medication they say I need. TOTAL CLOWN SHOW. I thought about writing a review after the fourth go around on this, but decided to hold off. I cannot stress enough how disappointing it has been dealing with this Doctors Office! read more

First time taking my mother to this establishment. As we were checking in they informed us they were running 2.5 hours behind. I inquired as to why they didn't contact us. The receptionist stated, "We don't do that". This is poor business management. Asking someone to wait 2.5 hours is inconsiderate and rude. An appointment is a reserved time specifically set aside for the client. It is understandable to be flexible but 2.5 hours is ridiculous. Dr Patel should speak with his scheduler and express booking appropriately. No one should have to wait 2.5 hours. It is shameful. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Mathia. Apparently, she is no longer with the practice and they "have no information as to how to contact her..." I expressed discontent and got a personal call from the administrator. While it doesn't bring Dr. Mathia back, it did help to know they did everything to make the transition as painless as possible for us. I guess they do care afterall.... read more

I have been a patient at this facility for more than ten years. Last Saturday, I received an email that my heart medications had not been shipped due to insurance authorization needed. I had missed two days of medications already. Over the course of the weekend, I called the answering service three times to page the doctor on call as I was rapidly becoming symptomatic. The Answering service ladies did everything they could. The doctor never once returned my call--it was the same physician all weekend. Twice, I was told he should call back within 30 minutes as he was not at the hospital. I ended up having to go to Urgent care and pay for a visit just to get 10 pills. I am a critical care nurse. This is unacceptable for cardiac patients. read more

I went last week for the first time in 3 years. I was impressed by how well everything looked, the amenities, and how functional intake was. I hate waiting, so I was happy to only wait 10 minutes or so. I had a follow up test the next day and had a heart monitor out on. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I wish every doctors office was like this! read more

The last time I was at their office I waited for over an hour there and then I had to reschedule. This time I waited for over an hour to see the doctor. The doctor became frustrated about reading the test results. He lost all over them so fast he overlooked something I read and then argued with me that what I read was actually contained in the reports. read more

Incredibly disappointed. Strictly numbers game here. Do the tests, kick you out the door, ship off the documents, next. After seeing inconsistencies within my documents (trying to self diagnose myself), they 100% refused to give me any information regarding the status of my heart. They also misread the codes my physician sent them and had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, when it was supposed to be wearing a ZIO (monitor) for 2 weeks. My advice to anyone looking for somewhere to check out their heart, look elsewhere. read more

Told us to be at the appointment at 12:15 and didn't get called to a room until 1 and then had to wait a half hour in the room. Terrible service let alone for older people to have to wait like this. Dangerous stairs leading up to the office. Will not be back. read more

First time patient....came in 15 minutes early for a 9am appointment. Was seen at 9:28 by the physician. Medical assistant took my blood pressure and height wrong. Not the best first time impression. read more
