Interestingly, the room had a board facing my bed where doctors and nurses wrote pertinent information and instructions. I'm now a proud owner of a very successful 4mmx28mm STENT. Discharge process was satisfactory and I was sent home with an information packet and required meds prescriptions. Overall I had a very positive live saving experience.

As of today, March 5, 3:30p the hospital still has not received it, putting my procedure at risk of being cancelled. I have left multiple messages on their portal and called several departments, but no one answers the phones and there has been no response. When a patient in severe pain cannot obtain a simple clearance form after repeated requests with a direct promise from the physician, it raises serious concerns about communication and patient care in this office. I hope this situation is addressed so other patients do not face the same experience.

I asked them to order a thyroid panel not just a TSH as I do not have a thyroid and the TSH has not been a good indicator of how much the actual Thyroid enzymes (T3 and T4 ) are available in my body - as there is no thyroid to stimulate!
