I called Angel, of Cardozo Tile, several YEARS ago. I wanted to replace our carpet with wood-like porcelain throughout the main portion of the house. Angel's quote was VERY reasonable. After talking to him, I sensed he was a good and honest person. He and his crew did a great job and were conscientious about cleaning up everyday before they left my house. About 1-1/2 years later, we had a large amount of this porcelain flooring tile that cracked because of our gas line, running under it to the fireplace. It wasn't his fault, but he and his crew came out and replaced it at NO COST. My original "gut feeling" that he was a good and honest person were completely validated. Since then, I have hired them for 3 other jobs in my house: 1.) Continuing the same tile through the master bedroom and master bathroom 2.) Updating the tile and stone my hall bathroom 3.) Remodeling of my master bathroom (configuration change) and updating the tile and stone. I couldn't be more thrilled with his (and his employees) attention to detail. My mom recently visited and told me that she could tell that the tile placement was well thought out on my hall bathroom, then she looked at the master bath details and she said the same. I enjoy Angel's honesty, his employees, and his workmanship so much that I am now going to hire him and his crew to remodel my kitchen. We recently had our floors done in our home by Angel Cardoso and his crew. They did demo on the previous tile that we had and laid new wood looking tile in our entire house except the bedrooms. Angel and his crew made the experience wonderful and did an exceptional job! The whole time they took in consideration that we were living through this and would work in sections of the house to accommodate us. His crew was friendly and very hard workers. My husband was very impressed at how they took their time to make sure every cut and every piece of tile that was laid was precise. They would clean up at the end of each day leaving everything spotless and even hosed off our driveway every day before they left. We had to move our fridge and unplug it to tile under the fridge and his workers even moved food and medicine to the outside fridge without even asking. I had an installer ready to go and I had most of my materials ordered for my large project. It was for a kitchen 3 bathrooms and a laundry room. My installer wasn't able to keep his commitment on the start and finish date. We were under a tight time line ! I told Angel I need to work well with you communicate well and be involved with the project every step of the way. I had Angel replace ~700sq of linoleum and carpeted flooring with tile. He went with me to help select the new baseboard through all of the living spaces (everything but the bedrooms) and installed it - even mitering around the fireplace brickwork. He and his team did such a great job that I had him come back to replace the tile counter and backsplash in my kitchen. He also suggested places to look for the new granite, backsplash, sink and faucet. All were installed beautifully! For both jobs, he was willing to work with my schedule so I could go into work for 2-3 hours a day and still completed the job in a very reasonable amount of time. Angel installed floor tile in three bedrooms and a bathroom for us. His work was impeccable. The tile was laid over uneven and unlevel concrete.
