It was raining, it is the week of Passover and Easter and the parking lot was a mess. I ran in, grabbed my order and thought "what a cute red bag they put it in" and ran out. My mistake was not checking to see what was actually in the bag..... Not the colors I ordered and no, I did not say that substituting the items was OK (because it wouldn't have been). Complete waste of time since I now need to return them and feel like a weirdo returning Easter stuff AFTER the holiday when I have time (and will not be returning to Cambridge). I always use pick-up and have never had a problem, lesson learned! Thanks for wasting my time (and $3.98 gallon gas)!

I really enjoyed browsing through the comic books- there is something for everyone. Whether you are a fan of Venom or a fan of Tom and Jerry, you will definitely find something of interest. There are also a bunch of autographed sports jerseys on the walls. You can tell that the owners are extremely passionate about sports and comic books. They have weekly trade nights (check their Instagram for dates). They can also help you to get your comic books graded. I am excited to see what other new merch the store will have. (The prices were a little high to begin with so the sale made them more regular). The display comic books had cool identifiers like the first appearance of Hawkeye, for example. They were valued higher because of these specifics. Even those were 20% off today. My husband's only critique was that some of the long boxes were packed too tight such that he would've had to pull out multiple comic books just to be able to search through the box. He says he would've bought more if there were about 15 fewer issues per long box. Come check it out!

The name of the shop was a bit mystifying as I couldn't tell if it was for needlepoint, embroidery, knitting, etc. Turns out it's a little bit of all of the above! Mostly it's a needlepoint shop but they have some knitting and crochet items as well including a small selection of beautiful specialty yarns and kits. As a one-time visitor to that nasty little place on Newbury st, I was relieved at how AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY the owner was. She chatted with me for about 20 minutes, showed me around the whole place and introduced me to basic needlepoint items of which I was previously unaware. I was very sad that I didn't get to pour oodles of money into this nice lady's hands, but my grandmother ended up giving me a ton of embroidery supplies that she can't use any more. Hopefully when I run out in a wee bit she'll still be open, and we can do business!
