If you've got a funeral home your family has been going to for generations, great. If not, you need…read moreto figure things out pretty quickly and Caring Cremations makes things easy with a website where you can choose your options and have upfront pricing which seems pretty reasonable. They also offer services and online obituaries, etc. but it's a very easy option for a simple cremation and all the accompanying requirements (just pay the money for at least 5-10 death certificates, you'll probably need them). I wouldn't recommend filling out the online forms on a regular phone as things can be small for reading and you don't want to risk a typo in the official documents but the whole process is pretty simple on a tablet, laptop, or full size computer monitor. I didn't complete all the online documents until late in the evening but they showed up way down in Oak Lawn early the next morning to pick up my father. Expect timing to be roughly a week after that unless you need expedited service, but standard timing was fine for my needs. The funeral home for pickup near Pulaski & Addison can have congested traffic, especially during rush hour or when there's a Cubs game, but there is an easy parking lot in back or delivery to your home is an option as well. Not a place you hope to deal with, but a helpful option for many to get things done when needed.

Great Funeral Home that I recently visited. Last time I was here it was over 10 years ago. The…read moreservice provided here for a friend of mine that recently passed away was above and beyond. Great levels of hospitality and it is a warm, inviting environment. What I do recommend that I think is the major issue here is that if you know that the person has a large family please carpool over here because parking is limited and I had to see people park half a mile away or across the street to make their way into the funeral home.

Losing someone you love is never easy, but the way they guided us through every step brought comfort when we needed it most. From the very first conversation, Bogdan Gal treated us not just as clients, but as family. His kindness, patience, and genuine empathy meant more than words can express. He handled every detail of the arrangements for Joanna Bednarz's funeral with the utmost dignity and respect. The service was truly beautiful -- thoughtful, elegant, and perfectly reflective of Joanna's life and spirit. Bogdan's steady guidance helped us feel supported and reassured through every decision. We are also deeply thankful to Renia, whose warmth and understanding comforted us from the moment we walked through the doors. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and gentle in every interaction, making a painful process feel a little less overwhelming. A heartfelt thank you as well to Donna and the entire staff. Every single person we encountered showed compassion, professionalism, and sincere care. Their attention to detail and quiet support during the service did not go unnoticed. They created an atmosphere of peace and respect that allowed our family to grieve, remember, and honor Joanna in the most meaningful way. In a time filled with sorrow, Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium provided light, comfort, and dignity. We will never forget the beautiful service they created for Joanna or the compassion they showed our family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us say goodbye with love and grace. May God Bless you all, Bednarz Family

He decided to purchase a 3-bedroom, 2 bath home in the all-White suburbs of Arlington Heights - 100% so that my my little brother and I could have a backyard with a children's swing set in the 70s Point being, my mother, who physically beat us with a wooden spoon DAILY... I would never assault a dog physically or verbally... why the fxck would any human assault physically a 2-year old????!!!! She hated my MD Dad and her children So when my my Dr. MD Dad suddenly dropped dead in in 2014 - my local Illinois Cremation Center was there primarily there for my husband to follow a traditional Hindu cremation (imagine a simplified ved version of happy comedic Dr. Kuttners (if you ever watched House, perhaps the last amazing TV show sans Cable);self-inflicted gunshot suicide When Dad dropped dead, he had handwritten instructions on what to do with his ashes Well Uma still keeps HIM in his now-bedroom in his closet with the door to the room permanently closed Via my husband, while I was still "comatose" and eliminated on my my bed on three layers of "puppy training pads" ICC offered my husband to pray to witness all of it, although his best offer was to purchase a simple wooden wood box and an "expensive but cheap" bamboo container They in addition to cremation - trust ME THIS SINGULAR TIME PLEASE - Order #1M Death Certificates with ease (needed for cancelation of every single thing in his name (home, utilities, credit cards, phone accounts (lol the landline) cell, etc etc etc.. Tissue and fat burn simply, it is bones, which every human or animal has (i am a lifelong Hindu vegan since birth) Anyway when Ed dies ( our 30th Anniversary is in a few days), I shall just call ICC to pick up his body at the hospital or at our home), order at the 2014 price and ease 100 of hos Death Certificates and bed done I do have to by IL state law, pick up his ashes within 30 days plus sign 1 million forms, with even "comatose" in our bed that I obviously eliminated n (;2026 and the most active Yelp reviewer /r

From start to finish, they showed such compassion and understanding. They patiently guided me through the entire process, answered all my questions (and I had plenty!), and never once made me feel like a burden. When it came time to bring Dad home, they even helped my daughter gently place some ashes into a small urn before handing us the larger box. That small act of kindness is something I'll never forget. It showed how much they truly care about the families they serve.
