I have been at this location for approximately 6 years. I never had any issues and never needed the…read moremanagement for anything. Approximately 4 weeks ago another customer had a termite infestation and brought it to the managements attention. This customer posted online and Management allegedly conducted unit specific spraying of that location after this customer left the location. Essentially sweeping under the rug a larger systemic problem. They failed to notify their customers about the infestation and thus left our property open for severe damage. They even failed to conduct further investigation to see how large of an infestation the problem was. If anyone is familiar with termites they know these creatures are ferocious and will spread like wildfire if left unattended. This company has been negligent and continues to do nothing. Fast forward to two weeks ago. I discovered my unit was infested with termites. My property was damaged and all this company would do is offer to possible $25 credit and then forced us out of our unit so the can once again spot spray the unit. Leaving our infested property to another space to infect additional units which would put other customers property at risk. They are hiding behind a contract stipulation that customers were required to get extra protection plans. Existing customers were never given a chance to opt in or out of this plan. The company only sent a generic email saying we are your new company and all is the same! The company demands you sign up for there protection plan but never once tell you its required if you are existing customer! As of now our insurance is not covering anything since the peril doesnt not meet their standard. I escalated the problem to storage companies district lead and all they "we are sorry!" They then admitted we were aware another customer had brought the termites into the facility and said nothing! they are further said they were not liable since we did not sign up for their extra protection plan! This company needs to make this situation right and tell their customers about the infestation! I am currently in the process of taking legal action against this company and will not be silent! I will tell you this company is a scam and are not willing to assist with making the matter right! Get your property out of here! If you are affected by damaged property reach out to join our fight against the greed! We are compiling affected customers for a class action suit against the storage company.
