Did online registration. They called quickly to make site i was cool paying as well as to let me know the wait was 2.5 hours. They called back about 15 minutes later to tell me to come up. Now i have been sitting in a room alone for an hour. They checked my weight, temp abs said the dr. Would be in to see me. So far we are over an hour. I would rather have sat in my bedroom wstching beltre hit a grand slam than just in this quiet room..... alone..... this sucks. read more

Wow, the nurse was one of the rudest people I've ever met. She had no interest for my severely ill son. I would've given the place 0 stars, but the doctor's attitude and effort were tremendous. He ended up taking the responsibilities of the nurse because she was too lazy to take care of her own duties. I'm extremely disappointed, but if you're looking for 2 hours of alone time in a room with your child while waiting on the nurses, then this is the place for you. God Bless. read more

This place is great. I've been relying on them for years and so has my family. CareNow is fantastic at treating our family for allergies, flu, sinusitis, etc. This particular location has incredible people and excellent service. They are fast, friendly, and effective. Here are a couple of reasons why we like them: 1. Convenience & Speed - I travel weekly and when I am in town it's important to make the best use of my time. It's a blessing to open an app on my phone, pre-register, get a call to come in, and then walk right into a room. It's quick. Gotta love it. 2. Staff - They are always great. CareNow is fantastic! I have been to the Frisco Preston Road location multiple times in the past couple years and I have never been disappointed. The office staff is extremely efficient and organized. The web check-in system makes the process so easy, especially when you are not feeling well. I came in around 6:00 on Tuesday evening for the first time for a skin rash that popped up Monday after yard work. I was back within five minutes and seeing Dr. Thompson, who was personable and knowledgeable. The treatment received was comparable to what I'd been given from my primary care physician in the past and very thorough to treat the irritation both immediate and long term. Went in last week with extremely high blood pressure, I started to feel dizzy and my chest was hurting however I do have family history of high BP. I work for a Dr and he urged me to see a physician. I checked in online and went into the Care now when I got there they got me back and took my BP. It was still dangerously high so they took me to another room and started to do a EKG. The nurse was very nice was unable to get the EKG to read when the Dr came in (Dr. Robeniol) she said she was calling the ambulance I told her I did not want to go to the hospital and she made it seem as if I had no choice and asked me if I wanted to go to Frisco or Plano I said I guess Frisco (thinking it was protocol and she made it seem like I had no choice). The ambulance gets there and I tell them I did not want to go I just wanted BP meds for the next couple days because I had already made an apt with my PCP for that Friday to address the BP issue. They were very polite and had me sign something refusing to go, they took an EKG and were on there way. Once they left Dr. Robeniol basically tried to argue with me saying I did have a choice and she thought I wanted to go. (I dont know how I could've made it more clear I did not want to go to the hospital.) She was persistent on covering her tail and continuing to make me feel in the wrong. Anyhow, she proceeds to give me a prescription for a medication for my BP and I went on my way. Friday when I got to my PCP he was in utter disbelief she had prescribed me the medication that she did (Losartan) because I am a 26 year old young lady of child bearing age. He went on to explain that within two weeks of taking that medication if I were with child my child would have severe birth defects. That, that medication is never to be prescribed to a woman of menstruating or child bearing age, she prescribed me 30 days worth also. She did NOT EVEN ASK ME IF I WAS TRYING, OR ALREADY PREGNANT. Although I am not I was and still am very upset about this. I urge you to stay away from this Care now, this Dr clearly had no idea what she was doing. The front office staff is nice and friendly and accommodating however its terrifying to think there are Dr.'s among us who have no idea what they are prescribing. read more

This place is a JOKE, nobody in the parking lot or inside yet they tell people it's a two hour wait because of web Check-ins THAT ARE NOT EVEN THERE, the people are still at home. So why on earth should sick people with families have to sit there and wait for someone to drive all the way up to the clinic when they could see other patients while they are on their way?? I swear nobody has a brain here. I've also received wrong diagnoses and was rushed out the door with an incomplete prescription. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Legacy ER on main and legacy is amazing and at least they have knowledgeable staff who can prioritize patients effectively. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lum and his nurse and staff. I visited the Monday after Thanksgiving, when they were incredibly swamped. Dr. Lum was very knowledgeable and caring, and had plenty of good information for my condition. The nurse was so funny and efficient. The staff was polite and personable. I hate reading these bad reviews that complain about wait time. You're waiting at home, so what's the problem? Your wait depends on the number of patients ahead of you. First come, first serve. If you want a specific time, find a doc that schedules appointments. Don't leave a bad review for a great physician. I definitely recommend Dr. Lum. read more

This place is ridiculous. Today, we went to this CareNow, just 4 minutes after closing time. My sister had a fever, and so we decided to go there just to make sure she was okay. There were still people inside, and the staff looked at us and simply looked down. we stood out in the cold for about 5 minutes, and they saw us and remained indifferent. We decided it was too cold so we finally decided to go back home. Also, the other times that we've gone to CareNow were mostly for sports physicals, and it takes forever for the doctor to come in there. read more

I was pleased with Doctors visit, but was not happy with the amount of time it took for my requests after the visit. It took one week for my doc note and form to be completed (5 business days). After all the back and forth over the phone with staff, they finally sent me the documents. I needed an MRI done and they didn't even have a list of anywhere I could go to get this taken care of. It was quite frustrating. It's been a week since my visit and I still don't have an MRI done on my leg. read more

Dr. Lum is great. No complaints about him. But I needed a TB blood test that normally takes 2-3 days to get the results back. I paid ~$50 extra to get my results back quickly instead of doing the 2 step TB skin test which takes more than a week. So they messed up my blood that they took the first time. Called me back 3 days later to stick me again and draw more blood. I waited another 3 days to call for my results and they kept putting me on hold and passing me off to someone else on the phone. I got fed up because my deadline for submitting my results was coming up so I just showed up at the clinic. After waiting another 45 minutes at the clinic for a piece of paper, I finally got my results a week after I should've gotten them. A week that I wanted to save by paying the extra $50... Ended up wasting money and time. read more

Took my son to Carenow in Frisco last night and the girl at the counter lost my driver's license and insurance card. When I asked her to look for it, she insisted that she had given it back to me and that maybe I had left it somewhere else. Excuse me, but how is that possible if I haven's left your clinic? I asked to her to please get up from her chair and look for it. She (Brianca) still continued to sit there and insist she gave it back to me. I am pretty sure that given her attitude that even if she did find it I would never know about it. I will be calling corporate tomorrow. read more

We went in with my daughter complaining of a bump inside her nose that was very painful on a Saturday.I could see the bump but the dr couldn't see it even when looking with his tool. Said it was allergies. A few days later her nose was much worse so we went to a dr that knew what he was talking about. She had impetigo. He knew what it was immediately. Had she been listened to on Saturday she would not have had to miss work and could have avoided so much pain. We were at care now for a total of 2 hours for nothing! I waited 2 hours in the lobby with excruciating pain from salmonella poisoning. The front desk person did their best to assure me I would be seen soon. However, they blamed it on the fact that they only had one nurse on duty. Be that as it may that is not my fault that they didn't staff appropriately. There were several staff members walking around appearing unbusy. One staff member continued to come up to the front are to converse about cookies and dates with the front desk ladies. All this laughing made me feel very unimportant when it was evident I was in pain. I'm not saying you can't have fun at work but if you have time to chat about non work related things then you have time to at least take my vitals. I was moved to a room by the front desk clerk where I spent another 30 minutes not being seen. I finally walked out and no one acknowledged me leaving. DONT GO TO THIS CARE NOW. This review is completely related to my treatment by the front desk and the logistics of care. They have Web Check-in where they say that you will have a 20 minutes wait before being contacted. I waited over an hour before contact. Then, I was told I was ready to be seen and to come in "now". When I came in, I still waited 20 minutes to be seen. I needed a prescription, but the clinic does not have the capability to electronically submit to pharmacy so they had to fax it. When I checked out, the fax wasn't going through. I asked for a paper copy in case the fax did not go through. The front desk woman would not give me a copy despite the doctor telling me I could have a paper copy. She told me the only way for this to work out was for the pharmacy to call back the doctors office if the fax was not clear. I left the clinic not knowing if I would actually receive the treatment I needed. I would give them a 1 star if it were not for Dr. Lum. read more
