Web check in @ 545 for my 3 year old son, they told me 1.5-2hr wait after I called them, they call me back @ 6:15 to tell me 1hr-1.5 hour wait. But "they will call me when to come" I show up at 7:15 to check in without a call...It's now 9:40 and we're barely leaving. I was stung on my finger by some little tiny bug by a tree in my backyard garden and the reaction was swelling, and excruciating pain! I didn't know finger pain could be so bad I wanted to cry. After every type of natural home remedy didn't work, I had my husband drive me to CareNow - it hurt so bad I couldn't think and I was getting weak. I was able to set up the appointment online first, they called me soon after and I was in and out in no time! I also signed up for the annual care and I am certain that the cost was less than half if I would have paid with insurance. Dr. Fulton was informative, attentive and gave me exactly what I needed. Went in today with my daughter to have a sprained finger looked at. After 2 1/2 hours of waiting and seeing multiple people who got there an hour after us get called back, the lady at the front again told me she didn't know how long it would take! She implied that these were web check ins getting in before us. I asked these people and they were walk ins just like us. What happened was she put our chart in the wrong spot therefore we were never ' in line'. I don't have a problem with someone making a mistake but I do have a problem with being lied to and not taking ownership of said mistake. Now I do want to say the other girls up front were not as rude and were nice and it wasn't their fault. Glad we left and they didn't get a penny from us. I will never be going back to CareNow. I went in on work comp because I cut open my finger. The cuts were glued but the bandaid was put on when the glue wasn't fully dried. The glue came off the next morning and I went back and the doctor just handed me bandaids and sent me on the way. He didn't look at my finger. My finger was bleeding ever since the time I cut it. They also prescribed me a medicine that wouldn't help my needs. The medicine was used to cure utis, respiratory infections, diarrhea, as I do not have any of those. I had the unenviable task to visiting CareNow on New Year's Day. The staff was terrific! They had great attitudes and made me feel like it was really OK for them to have to work on a holiday. I was promptly called into the exam room and a PA, Matthew came and took care of me. He was absolutely great. Went here tonight after my son developed a very high temp. We usually go to prima care on town east for urgent care, unless of course we need a hospital ER. We had gone to PrimaCare tonight at 8:03pm, website said they close at 9. They closed at 8 and refused to see us. So we went over to CareNow, on I-30, there we were greeted with open arms. We filled out a minimum of paperwork, waited maybe 30 minutes, then the doctor came in, ordered flu test, labs, and chest x-rays. We were given copy of labs, letter to dismiss from school and/or work, and prescriptions. We were in and out in less than hour and half. Doctor was very thoughtful, kept asking us if we had any more questions. All staff was pleasant, and it was clean. Thank you. Sure beats the ER! And PC. Oh yes, you can make appointment online or with smartphone, you don't need to just walk in like we did. read more

I really should have known better than to come here to examine my possibly broken ankle. The Dr. took a look at it, said it looked pretty jacked up and had me get some xrays done. The xrays did not show anything broken though and nothing else was told to me. Not what to do or how to care for it. Finally after 3 weeks I went to a Specialist and its interesting how a Specialist is actually cheaper if not the same price as CareNow. He told me that it is probably broken and that only an MRI would really be able to tell. It would have been nice had Dr. Carew actually taken the time to maybe advise me rather than show up for 5 min. I am so glad I spent over 200 dollars to get NOTHING. These clinics are only good if you have a cold. Cough up the extra money to go to a real doctor. read more

I'm pretty happy with CareNow, a few weeks back I had a pretty bad allergic reaction to something. It was on the weekend so I was unable to see my regular doctor, and I didn't want to shell out couple grand to visit the ER. It's an urgent care place, so there was a bit of a wait but it wasn't terrible . I've been dealing with various allergies since I was a kid and have become pretty well versed in what works and what doesn't down the to the dosage. The staff here took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure I recieved the right treatment. Out of pocket was substantially less than going to and ER. I was initially overcharged here, but they refunded me without issue, which is a definite plus. read more

Once they get your money, stick you, call and leave a message to call them back and then you can't get back in touch with them for test results. This place is a total piece of shit!! Nothing but lazy people that work here. I've been waiting since 3pm. It is now 545. Doctor just came back and saw me for less than 5 minutes. Makes me wonder what the actual hell takes them so long to go through patients?? Literally doesn't make any sense for waiting almost 3 hours...? I don't recommend nor will I ever be coming back here again. Care Now advertises that you can check in online and wait from the comfort of your own home instead of their waiting room. Then you are to receive a call to come in when it's your turn. So, I did just that. After checking in online, I received a call from Care Now asking about my 7 year old's reason for being seen. I explained that she was running a fever, needed to be tested for strep and COVID due to symptoms. The attendant called me back a few minutes later and said to come in. I sat in the waiting room holding my sick child in my arms for an hour and a half before we decided to leave. This is absolutely ridiculous that they do this to people!!!!! They don't care. They didn't even bother to come out and say sorry that it's taking so long. There is a much better process that can work if they just used some common sense. These employees should be trained on how long the patients ahead of them will take before calling sick patients in to just sit in their waiting room! read more

2 hours for web checkin wait time. Another 2 hours in the office for a flu test and steroid shot. Very slow, and it seemed like staff forgot about us in the room at several points. Very cold, so bring a jacket even if you are not sick. Other locations are must more responsive. read more

I made a web check in which is supposed to ease and expedite the process of getting seen by the doctor go by faster. I checked in at 11:26 and was told they would call me minutes before my time to be seen. I called around 2:30 thinking they've had plenty of time and to get an update on the waiting process. They said they were ready for me and to start heading to clinic. I arrived 5 minutes after the call and did not get seen by a doctor until 3:30! It's currently 3:55 and the doctor is barely going over my diagnosis just to find out that she thinks it could be a variety of things. Cherry on top they are charging me extra for treatments the doctor specifically told me wouldn't be included and now the rude receptionist are arguing the charges as if I'm not irritated enough with this place. Everyone was kind professional and courteous. Our entire visit was about 1.5 hours. My son had an allergic reaction to something but was not in respiratory distress. I gave him some Benadryl and took him here. Waiting room had movies on plenty of tissues and a clean bathroom for my son. He had a lot of anxiety and it helped him be at ease. Thank you. read more

This urgent care facility is anything but! It is 12noon and I've been here since 10:35. They know it is an infection, that I'm running fever, and ache all over. They have allowed everyone including those arriving after me to go back. I'm coughing and here I sit. Extremely poor service. Will not be back. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone I know. The wait is a little crazy but as long as you do online check in I believe you should be fine. I came in and saw the doctor approximately 10 minutes after being checked in. The staff is friendly and caring, all three of the MA's that I meet where very kind. My mom recently was hurt on the job so they sent her to this specific location to get a check up. She had to come back to be cleared for work by the doctor. We arrived a little over 12 a-clock her name was not called until like 3:30pm. Take in mind we just came for a physical and a piece of paper signed by the doctor. Then we were left in the room for almost an hour or more by ourselves never attended. It got so ridiculous that we decide to leave. WE WERE VERY UPSET. read more

When they tell you it is $130 for the office visit, and possibly up to $170 depending on complexity, be prepared to pay the $170. The Doc spent all of a couple of minutes to diagnose strep throat so not sure what was so complex as to warrant the additional $40. I asked that question and got the typical "I just work here" BS answer. If you can't explain why you are charging the extra $40 then perhaps you should not be charging it. read more

This one I'm giving 1 star. My previous visits to Care Now at this location have been good. It seems they changed staff or something, because this visit was terrible. I did a web check in. Someone calls me and tells me to come in already. Keep in mind, I feel terrible, aches pains, chills, cough, stuffy head, cold. I prefer to have waited at home. As soon as I get there they have me fill out paperwork and take a seat. I waited 1 hour and 10 minutes before they call me to the back. Throughout the whole time I was waiting, I kept going up to the desk to find out what's going on and I was told to come in and I would be seen. The people in the front desk kept asking me what my last name was. How can they forget so fast, I checked in. It's like they forgot about me. Then they tell me someone is ahead of me. I told them. The whole reason I did a web check I is so I wouldn't have to wait in the lobby because I didn't feel well. So after sitting for awhile longer they call me back. I see a Lvn who takes my vitals and asks all the questions. I didn't feel comfortable at all in this visit, it feels rushed, as if she's trying to hurry, or if I have questions she seems frustrated. So she swabs my nose and says...The Dr will be in shortly. Yeah right, shortly. I took a nap because that's how long it took for someone to come in. And it wasn't a Dr, she was a nurse practitioner. She asked me what was wrong, I told her I had chills a bit of fever. She tells me it sounds like allergies. I'm sitting there like, This is your diagnosis? This is not allergies, I've never heard of allergies causing fever. So I tell her my throat hurts, and she says oh., let me see. I have to literally tell her what to check for. Why didn't she do it on her own? She tells me I'm negative for Flu and she swabs my throat and leaves. I wait longer...Then the LVN walks in after awhile and tells me, okay so you have the flu. I'm sitting there like wait a minute, the Nurse Practioner said I'm negative. So I tried to ask questions, the more I tried to ask the more it seemed she was frustrated and she told me to get up and go to check out. I asked her, so do I or dont I have the flu. She said. The Nurse Practioner prescribed me 3 prescriptions and sent me on my way. I'm trying to ask her questions and she's already changing the bed. I get to the front desk and the lady was quick to take my payment. I'm trying to ask her questions, but she's too busy eating her soup. I step out and leave go to my car and realize they didn't give me a work note, after I told them I needed one. I go back inside and the white guy in the front is eating his soup telling me, they did give me a work note. I clarify to them that they didn't, and I address another concern, that they gave me prednisone and I'm allergic to it. The guy eating his soup says, well if your allergic, you need to go to allergy dr and they need to send us paperwork that you are. I told them, I'm already pissed off at this point, I said, you all should have it in my chart what I'm allergic to!! He said, well if your allergic dont take it, it's just 20 mg. I was shocked by the treatment I received at this place. A girl next to him helped me with the work note and kept apologizing. I asked who the manager was, and this was the worst experience I have had here. I come here all the time I'm sick and I never receive this treatment. I left, I did not feel good about my visit, or nobody attended to me and asked me when I should or shouldn't uo back to work, if what I had was contagious or what exactly it is I have. Nobody explained this to me. I dont think I'll ever go back to this CareNow. I would rather drive further and go to a different one, where I know they care. read more

I scheduled my appointment to see the doctor on the web check in and was told that I will get a phone call or a text telling me 15 minutes prior to when I need to be there. After about you three hours of waiting I was wondering where the text or phone call was and decided to go ahead and start making my way up to the office. I then get to the door after 9 PM and the doors locked. I knock on the door until an employee that seemed very irritated and tired of being at work finally comes to the door to talk. The employee tells me there's no way they can see me so I told them my name and ask if they can look up what was going on. The employee was able to find me very easily in the system and then comes and tells me that they called me three times and I made sure the number was correct because I haven't received a missed call. I believe the employees were just lazy and tired of being at work and did not make a call to me because they knew if you are not in by nine they don't help you. This care now is Very lacking on the Care side and will not receive my business. read more

They should call this place Care Never. The "medical" staff played dumb and the doctor ignored everything he was told, except when we told him he was dismissive. THEN. He actually paid attention only so he could defend himself. I told him my wife have a sore throat and could not swallow, and he never looked at or touched her throat. They did not do the strep test properly. Only after I reminded him of her ear ache did he even look at her ear but not BEFORE saying "your ear looks fine." He diagnosed my wife with upper respiratory infection when she had no problem in this area. The only people who seem to know what they are doing are those who are taking the money. This past year I have used care now whenever I get sick due to time. Love that I can go after regular doctors hours, the cost is minimal and you get such good service. Especially love the online check in so I don't spend a lot of time waiting. Every time I've been there I have seen a different Doctor but with my file in hand they can always look at past visits. I've loved this place and always been treated with respect. I like Dr. Chu, and Dr. Fulton, and Allicia. The front desk was really great. They handled the insurance without a problem. Their helping me get through this bronchitis. Dr. Chu offered to check for Strep Throat, but didn't seem to have this problem. They work together as a team. However, one nurse, not Alicia was rather short. As an LPC, I thought something was terribly wrong. Also, in the teaching profession, I try not to be short with students, parents, and others I work with. Anyway, this one nurse did put a damper on this, but that isn't going to stop me from continuing my care now relationship. BAD DECISION. whether you do a web check in or not you shouldn't call the patient & tell them to come in then have them wait another 40 MINUTES. I got a call telling me to come in that the room was ready at 1:23, i checked in at 1:15 and they told me it would be an Hour and they would call, I told the receptionist I would go get my daughter some lunch since she's a 3 year old and has no patience. I was by town east when I got the call, so I headed back saying forget the lunch. Told them I'd be there in ten minutes, I arrive and it's 2:15 now and nobody had bothered to call me back. Even though about 4 other people were called before me. This is ridiculous.
