Patients BEWARE!! The workers in this clinic don't care about you or your health! I went in to get COVID testing. The workers were aware of this before I showed up, but they still made me wait in the lobby with all the other patients for 30 minutes! No social distancing either. This other patient was 3 feet from me! Then they put me in a room for almost an hour after the medical assistant came in to see me. After such a long wait I left the room and found the medical assistant who helped me earlier and asked what was the delay, she and the other medical assistant, who were just sitting there doing nothing, both rolled their eyes at me! The customer!! Whose money is being used to pay your salary!!! I expressed to her that if I had Covid I was exposing everyone in that clinic. She said it don't matter, everyone is exposed! WTF!! How insensitive is that!! Not caring for the other innocent parties in the clinic!! How do you sleep at night??! I ended up walking out. Not going to support your business! Don't web check me in if its going to take you over an hour to be seen!! And not supporting your insensitive, unprofessional employees who give attitude for asking why it's taking so long! Went in for a diagnosis which I already knew I had a sinus infection just needed a prescription. Sure enough I have a sinus infection dr prescribed me with 2 cough medicines and a general antibiotic for acne!!! I went in on 2/21 it's 2/24 I still feel the exact same the day I went in!! Now none of the nurses or doctors are available?! Why would they give me acne medicine for acute sinusitis? I will never use this location again! My advice is make sure you look up your prescription before you leave the office! read more

Considering I was the second patient here u would think I would have already been back and out by now but no two other patients have now gone and We're still waiting. Don't know how to say it but Dr. McKinney very well may have saved my life. I went in for shortness of breath, which I figured was my asthma. Dr. McKinney, sees me and chats and keeps chatting until I'm out of breath and tell her I need a break and she says and an EKG well she brought it in and laid it out there as I requested and she tells me that I've either had a heart attack or one is imminent and informs me I must go to ER now !!! I did, my wife drove me there and Dr. McKinney had everything setup for me. Fast forward to today, recovering from a stent and angioplasty to the LAD artery. I recently went to CareNow and saw Dr. Avnet Gill. She took time to explain the 'whys' to me, which is what motivates me. I am not one to just take doctor's orders because I've seen too many mistakes. Like I said, she explained how things worked and was very patient with me and I'm sure it saved my life because I followed her advise and went to E R (I had refused at an earlier visit). Also the nurse was extremely helpful on answering some of my questions. I also suggest to check in on-line for it really does cut the wait time. Carenow is my go to place for urgent clinic visits. My Insurance is accepted and I like the web-check in feature so I wait less at the clinic with a sick child. My child has been seen by a PA, he may not be a Pediatrician but he does really good job in handling kids. The front desk staff and nurses are randomly very nice, or just enough. But I am happy with the PA for my child. Not a bad experience except once I went for Flu shot for my child and waited hours but staff kept me updated and apologize for the delay. read more

For some reason, doctors these days think it's ok to walk into a clinic room with gloves on already. The pt does not know what/who you've been touching. When you ask them to please WASH their hands in front of you; they take offense to it. What are they being taught these days. I saw Dr McKinney today and she walked into the clinic room with gloves on already. I ask her if she would wash her hands before the exam. She said "I have gloves on already. Do you want me to wash them with gloves on?" I told her no, she should take them off and wash her hands. She asked me if I was serious and I told her yes I was. For that reason I think this doctor took her frustration out on me by sticking that cotton swab for far up my nose I had to stop her twice and remove the swab from my nose myself. It hurt so much. At that time I told her the swabbing was over. She took it to get tested. I work in the medical field, and have had this test done by a many nurses and doctors. It should not hurt that bad. I really hate to jump to conclusions about her, but that's where I am. I'll think twice before coming back to this Care Now. read more

Dr. Avneet Gill was a good Doctor, got me on my way feeling much better. The Nurses all were very good, they had to draw blood from me and I didn't even feel the needle. Went there for TB test for husband's employer..this is ALL they requested. After paying cash for test and coming back for the results the receptionist said the Dr refused to sign paperwork from employer. The doctor said that employers require urine test,blood work etc... that would have added up to hundreds of dollars that I would have had to pay out of pocket because insurance does not pay for employment screening health test. But why should I have to pay or get all these test if I only need a TB test. Ridiculous !!!!!!!I was able to get printout of test and test results..which after contacting employer they said they would accept just that. They agreed with me that this was just an effort to make more money..don't go there. read more

Very disappointed. I web checked in, super neat, then get a call to basically inform the receptionist what was wrong. (Nausea, stomach ache, fever, hot flashes) she told me she couldn't help me all they could do is put me to an iv, or do absolutely nothing and just send me home, or send me to the ER, they wouldn't be able to take xrays(not even needed so very confused) "up to the doctor But they probably won't do anything" is the only answer I got over and over again. You can tell that whoever is working the front desk/phones has NO medical background of any kind by her poor choice in words. Clearly something is wrong with me and she basically told me there's no point to go. I couldn't even say "ok still would like to be seen" without being cut off and being told they'll just send me home. I understand the doctor calls the diagnoses, and all i asked was okay do you recvommend a nausea medicine since there's no point in going? "Sorry i can't diagnose you" i asked for a recommendation, so i said "okay so you're saying you have no answers for me, care now can't help me?" "Yeah pretty much" Hire some people who know how to answer questions without the fear of being sued or scared that they're dignosing me. This is fucking ridiculous. Office ambience and staff are fine, . Everything is what you'd expect from an urgent care facility. HOWEVER, in what world does it take almost two hours to give a urine sample???? Luckily I decided to drop by after work and had time to spare. I actually waited so long that I ended up almost barely being able to fill my cup because I'd gone to the bathroom twice during my two hour stay. I recently went for my first visit after my usual doctor's office could not see me right away...I had a severe allergic reaction on my skin that was bothering for days and so I knew I had to go somewhere I can be treated right away and I chose the right place. Everyone was so nice, polite and informative. I was told the wait time would be a while so I was prepared to stay for 1.5 hours but I was seen in not even an hour. I called a few days later to see about getting a med because antobodics can causes yeast infection in women. I called at 1230 she said she let the doctor know and she call me back. I called at 4 to see if the doctor approved the med. The lady on the phone had said it was not in my chart and no one ask the doc or called it into the pharmacy. they called about 30 mins later and said the doctor approved and it be an hour to an hour and a half before the pharmacy would be ready. The issue is that when I got there I had to wait for over 45 more minutes when they told me it would be 5 minutes when I first got there and told me I would be the next patient called after I kept asking for an update yet others continued to be called before me. I have been here an hour in pain so I called after doing web check in. They lied and said the called both numbers which is not true. Both phones are lying right beside me. Neither were called. Instead of admitting they misdialed I was put at the end of the line. The staff there is very very rude. I thought I would try again after they prescribed me the wrong medicine but they haven't gotten any better. Customer service is HORRIBLE! I went in for my drug test and physical everything was going fine until a "medical examiner" came in named Edward Carew. He proceeded to tell me my PRESCRIPTIONS were controlled substances and "do I even know what im taking and who is giving me these medications" he took my medicine in the prescription bottles and proceeded to say " do I have a problem what's wrong with me that I need these prescriptions?" In a very demeaning way! Then said I can't have a job taking these ridiculous medications. I have anxiety and take my mood stabilizer for sleep. He then says I need to take my pants and underwear off.. for and I quote " a ballsack test" as I'm taking my underwear down he pushed my hands away and jammed his fingers into my privates and made me cough. He then before I can get completely dressed opens the door wide open and walks out. I've never been so violated/disrespected/ demeaned like this before. He marked my general appearance as overweight signs of alcoholism problems drinking or drug abuse?! I don't drink or abuse drugs!?!? They told me to leave my prescriptions and paperwork in his office and to go to another room I grabbed my medicine and left my paperwork and went to do my hearing test where I was left for a very extensive amount of time they brought back my paperwork that had been filled out by someone other than me. I asked multiple times for his name and was told nothing. The manager of the department finally came in and I had to have my mother ask for his name where they finally answered. This particular Care Now facility has been one of my staple quick medical facilities for after hours care. This was the first time that my insurance wasn't accepted, yet the financial cost was comparable to what I might oh between an ER visit plus deductible for in network care. Dr. Singh and the entire staff seemed knowledgeable about their individual jobs and worked well as a team. I would highly recommend this location to family and friends. Where to start? I brought my co-worker in here last week after he fell off his motorcycle. He had sever road rash on one leg and arm, visible bleeding, limping, and in a lot of pain. We were second in line when they opened and the only positive from all of this was that he was taken back right away. He was quickly looked at by a nurse (who did nothing) and wasn't seen again for over an hour. He was bleeding! The so-called doctor came in and said they were going to put burn cream on, wrap it up, and take x-rays. At no point did he get close to my my co-worker or even have him lift his shirt to see of there were any more problems. After 30 minutes the x-ray tech is ready. Well, not really. He was reading an instructional book of how to do x-rays! He was obviously brand new and no one was there supervising. Finally, after about 2 hours, a nurse finally wipes off the blood and wraps his arm and leg. She said that was it. I had to go find the doctor and ask what was next. He said we would be going soon. Another 20 minutes go by and I had to find him again, when we were given prescriptions and finally left. We were there for 3 hours. This is the worst urgent care I have ever been in. The doctor (really not sure) spent more time on his computer than he did with patients. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Dr. McKinney and her staff are absolutely awesome. Everyone was very kind and patient during my appointment but even more so efficient and knowledgeable. Dr. McKinney was thorough and truly listened to the information I shared before making her diagnosis and providing treatment. Her choice of treatment had me feeling like a new person the next day and almost a month later, no recurrence of symptoms. Very SMART Lady!!! I came into this location as directed by my company's HR representative in accordance with our company policy. My initial visit was for a went for a workman's comp concern on 5/14/18. I arrived at the office at 1:00 pm and did not get seen by a physician until about 8:30 pm. I was not discharged until 9:30 pm. The front desk staff was pleasant but incompetent, due to the fact that my company faxed the required Pre-Authorization form to them and confirmed the receipt, but when I arrived the staff could not locate the paperwork (luckily I brought a copy). I had a follow-up appointment on 5/23/18 with male physician's assistant, who felt it was his duty to tell me "in the future you should not file a workman's comp claim because the insurance company is going to deny the claim." In addition to below standard medical care, your staff is also giving poor and uninformed instructions on Workman's comp claims. This is the worst experience I could have imagined from a "so-called" medical care facility. This location should be called "CARE-LESS" instead of CareNow. If I were part of your management staff I would be embarrassed by this location. read more
