They told me that they couldn't see me because they were at capacity. I look around and there is a mother and her son sitting in the waiting room. I ask how they are at capacity and the lady at the front desk tells me that they have 5 or 6 people waiting in rooms. I let the lady know that I will wait until 7 and if the doctor can see me then great but if not then fine but I'm willing to wait. She wouldn't allow me to do this. She told me that if they couldn't let people in otherwise they would be here all night. I asked her why the sign said open until 7 if they are turning away patients at 6. She told me that she isn't turning me away that I can come back tmrw. Really? No thank you and I don't ever plan on going back. You get into healthcare to help people and you understand that sometimes you may have to work a bit longer. You take all the good and bad that comes with it, not only the times that you feel like doing it. I see Dr. Batton as she is by far the best doctor I've ever been too. The offices are pristine. Always clean. The wait time is 5-10 tops. I really enjoy how they have the doctors waiting rooms split up into pods. It's more efficient and helps the process move quickly. One of my favorite things about the office is they have a lab on site that contracts with most insurance so your lab work is extremely affordable with no hidden fees. Overall awesome facility and one stop shop for your healthcare needs!

They are NOT and 'in-network' provider, meaning you will get charged for services that would be 100% covered at a different urgent care. They willingly deceive by stating they are 'tricare certified'. Bottom-line- do not come here they wantonly prey on vulnerable (injured or sick) military by being deceitful. Better believe I have learned my lesson and will check with Humana or other Tricare contractor in the future before receiving care- this place got the best of me in a vulnerable moment. He is caring, listens, and explains things thoroughly. I am blessed to have Ortho SC, physical therapy, and Dr. Merritt for my orthopedic care. In addition, my physical therapist, Marian, has helped me reach goals I would never have thought I would in a short time frame after surgery. I highly recommend!!

This was my second time seeing Dr. Blair, and the experience was just as bad as the first. Patients are told to arrive early, even established patients who already completed everything online, only to sit in the waiting room 45 minutes past their appointment time before even being called back. Then another 20+ minute wait just to see the doctor for about 30 seconds, only to be told he would be back. After that, another 25-minute wait before he finally returned for an injection (he's gotta sneak in those extra 2 or 3 appointments). Dr. Blair has zero bedside manner, came across arrogant, dismissive, and immediately pushed surgery on a 46-year-old patient while claiming there were "no other options." I've never met a doctor so dismissive. What makes that even more concerning is that I sought a second opinion and was, in fact, given another treatment option. At no point did I feel like my pain or concerns were taken seriously. Isn't a doctor's job supposed to include treating pain and helping patients explore options instead of brushing them aside? The entire interaction felt rushed, cold, and transactional. OrthoSC feels like a run-of-the-mill greed factory where volume and money matter more than patient care. The lack of communication, respect for patients' time, and overall professionalism was incredibly disappointing. I gave them two chances, and they failed both times. I would never allow anyone from this practice to operate on me. If you are dealing with shoulder issues, I highly recommend Dr. William Greer. He was compassionate, patient, answered every question without acting annoyed, and actually spent time with me -- about 15 minutes, which felt like a completely different experience compared to OrthoSC.
