The Montmarte location is less busy and cheaper than the one in Paris - hot chocolate is very rich but delicious, especially on a cold night. Definitely get it with the cream, what's a couple extra calories right?

While walking around Montmartre in Paris, France we stumbled upon this cute little bakery, tearoom and Creperie. I had the Strawberry Chocolate Crepe 7.50 euro. They make it right in front of you. It was so delicious and a real treat. We ate standing at a table. A real Parisian delight.

This place was a little hyped with a little bit of a line but it went rather fast. The hot chocolate was a highlight and even my boyfriend who isn't a fan of hot chocolate enjoyed it. The crepe and fruit was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The scrambled eggs with salmon was quite good. Things were a little expensive for what we got probably because it's so touristy but i would recommend it. It's very cute and we enjoyed ourselves.

Not a good ordering experiencing and the food and drinks were just OK. Wouldn't recommend or come back.

Was determined to make it here to try the hot chocolate! It absolutely lives up to the hype and was delightful on a cold day exploring Montmartre. We also tried a savory crepe for a light bite.

Adorable spot with amazing dessert and drinks! My daughter and I stopped here on a walk around La Marais for a crepe, hot chocolate and a fancy coffee! Excellent service, and amazing treats! Highly recommended!

A well deserved snack break for those who scaled the stairs to Sacré-Cœur. Although we didn't opt for the hot chocolate as it was too hot and humid outside we did stop for a sugar crepe and pistachio gelato! You order inside and get a special ticket for both the crepe and gelato windows. Make sure you hold onto your ticket as you need it to redeem your order. We might have misplaced our ticket for a while and fumbled around while we watched others get their sweet treats. The sugar crepe was VERY sweet once you hit the bottom of the crepe which you can imagine has all the sugar accumulated. The crepe skin wasn't too thick but I would have preferred a slightly crispy skin. The pistachio gelato had a pretty good flavor and wasn't overpoweringly sweet which was a nice relief from the crepe. The texture was smooth and creamy making for a refreshing treat in the Paris humidity.

From the first sip, the hot chocolate at Carette commands attention. Served in a generous portion, thick and velvety, it's topped with a lush swirl of whipped cream that slowly melts into the depths of the drink, creating a rich, decadent experience. Several reviewers call it "the best hot chocolate in Paris".

I had the best pistachio macarons of all time! They don't taste like state side macarons. The middle crème is more hydrated and thicker.

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. RUDE and RACIST waiter escorting seats . We had six ppl with children and desired to sit inside since it was cold outside. They kept sending 3, 4 ppl inside without any explanation. We told him we can separate into smaller tables, ignored us . The kids were freezing and we told him we can sit outside and we can get a seat . He told us it's not possible anymore and we can wait all we want. We will never be back again in this tourist trap.

Honestly, the famous hot chocolate was just meh! The croissant and macaroons were much better. Although this location is in a super touristy part so I would recommend an actual sit down cafe

This place is definitely worth the hype! The macaroons were the best I had in Paris. The minute you walk in you're hit with the amazing aroma of pastries and hot chocolate! If you're in montmartre definitely stop in for some delicious sweets.

We sat on the second floor but there is seating in the passage way as well. They do have wine in addition to coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. We tried the pistachio tart, the acrulier (like a fancier Ferrero rocher) and Kalingo (a chocolate cake). I had the gunpowder green tea while my sister had the hot chocolate. I honestly liked their hot chocolate more than the one at Angelina. It was rich but not chalky and the perfect amount of sweetness. The pistachio tart was the best one we've ever had and revived our spirits after a long day of walking. You pay downstairs and credit cards are accepted.
