I've been holding off on writing a review because I want to keep it a secret. Looks like it is time to let the cat out of the bag. Latina grindz has a small menu. It's pretty simple. BUT everything they have is SO DAMN delicious. Like seriously, how am I supposed to concentrate when I keep thinking about going back for tostones?!? I've come here a couple times and it's been great! The food is always delicious. The tostones is so damn evil. In fact you many not get any because they are so good. They sell out fast. What I love is that they are really fast. You order, 3 min later bam! You got your food! That is the best when you have a very tight lunch break. If you are ever in the area, I suggest you stop by. If you are lucky you might snag the air fried pork or tostones.

It taste just like the old days where grandma used to use the freshest ingredients to make the family favorites during dinner. A great portion (2 cups) served hot and steaming. You can get this with either poi or rice (get the poi!!!). $7.50 for the combination. Grade: A+ PORK LAULAU - super authentic laulau (taro leafs) steamed with fatty pork, salted fish. Wrapped in taro leafs and steamed for hours. Everything melts together because of the steaming. (Side order $4.00). Eat this with the poi and you have an authentic meal and tons of memories to talk about! Super ONO!. Grade: A! KULOLO - a dessert made of freshly grated taro root, coconut milk, and shreaded coconut. So I did by texting the number, and communication was amazing. I pulled up to the meet-up location in Wahiawa at the designated time, and the order was packaged nicely. I'm sad to say that the spicy ahi bombs were too salty for my family's taste, and the pasteles were too bland. Spicy ahi was frozen, which I actually didn't mind because fresh ahi is really hard to come by these days. However, I don't think that the price was justifiable for the quality. Mouthful of Tapatio isn't the same as a quick, home made salsa. I understand this is a small business and local, and they are trying to keep costs down so some short cuts need to be made.
