It was all very fresh, but the steak in the protein bowl was chewy, some things lacked a little flavor, while others were very flavorful. So just a bit inconsistent. Service was friendly and helpful. Crisp greens, and a few bonus veg, with a creamy tasting dressing. No complaints, 5 stars. My friend got the black bean burger, and I got the chickpea burger. The chefs at Brick City Vegan know what they're doing, and they absolutely season the heck out of the food. Everything tasted so good, and the table fell silent as we demolished the food in front of us in the cool a/c. There was a napkin dispenser on the table, which you will need, because the burgers are generously sauced, and a bit of a mess to eat. Who cares? The food is incredible, and just the right amount of filling. Both of us ate every last morsel, and left feeling satisfied. The rice was fluffy, their version of white sauce was fairly good, and the proteins were flavorful. The issue that occurs sometimes is the meat can be dry in gyro platters in general but this was not the case here, if I had to pick a winner, I'd probably say the chicken platter had the edge for me. TIPS -It didn't come with pita bread so if that is your preference you'll have to order separately -The platter does come with a decent amount of white sauce already but you can always add more for $0.50 extra. Overall I enjoyed ordering food from this restaurant and would do so again in the future. If you are in the area looking for a decent gyro platter, I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot.
