Yelp 100 Challenge #26 Visited during 4th of July Weekend. Resort staff was friendly and attentive and I even received a personal assistant that checked in daily. Dominican Tower has newly renovated the one bedroom rooms with a full kitchen, living room and a Murphy bed for an extra guest. Some rooms have double queens and others have one king. Wristbands are required at the pool area and there are indoor and outdoor pools available. Pool towels can be checked out by the pool. Beach chairs can be rented on the beach from 9am - 4pm.

We came for overnight but I wish we were able stay longer. This time of year the price is pretty good and this end is usually pretty quiet. There's a star bucks across street attached to parking garage along with Ben and Jerry's. We got 2 bed 2 bath condo which was very comfortable and clean. Easy check in and check out. Staff was very nice. I'd definitely stay here again.. had indoor pools too but we just didn't have time this trip.

Main hotel on left and efficiencies on right.

This place is overrun with kids and is affordable so consider this when booking. They have a lazy river, big pool and a waterside. There's a restaurant neighboring although service there is questionable. The hotel on the other hand has made some recent renovations and our room was relatively newly updated. It was nice although I give that room 2 years of rentals before it will need another face lift. The hotel is always bustling with all walks of life. We smelled vomit in the elevator, our floor and by the pool bar. We just checked out and we probably came a month too early and should have targeted a stay in October as the beach was packed. I suppose folks are like us, just trying to hold onto summer. On a sad note, during our stay I've lost count of how much mamajuana I smelled on the beach and waffling into our rooms. All in all, the hotel staff were friendly and we didn't voice our discomfort as we noticed others voicing. I wouldn't recommend a stay here but the price is right.

Booked the 3 bedroom penthouse. When we booked we were told units were being updated. We were not told that our room was in a separate location away from the amenities. Made it difficult with children. Light bulbs burnt out thru out including back stairs going into the building. Broken missing tile Cabinets in awful condition Filthy bathroom walls Filthy carpet thru out Bed mattresses are horrible-pillows were nice Lacking hot water Patio doors that are next to impossible to open Broken spindles on porch Nice washer and dryer in unit Only reason I gave it a 2 star is because the views were spectacular and so was access to beach

    Roach or bed bugs ewwwww

Run away from thus roach infested, dirty, unkept, old furniture, lamps, terrible customer service rat hole in the wall establishment, it's not even kept up enough to call it a hotel!! This is the WORSE PLACE I've ever stayed at in all my 50 years!! Do not waste your precious time, money and sanity staying here!!!

Pool party with Nigel.... So fun and great music

Nice rooms but the best part of the stay was being at the pool with Nigel the pool DJ he was great so friendly and got everyone dancing and made the day so fun

The resort itself is pretty nice. It is a resort group of about 3 different names belong to this resort and are described by certain building names. I stayed in the Dominican building on the 15th floor. The room was pretty clean and I loved the layout. I did not have a shower curtain and did have to ask. The room comes with a full kitchen, bathroom, and living room. The bathroom is pretty small and if you have more than 2 guest in the room it may become cramped. The bed is comfortable but the sheets are scratchy but that is also personal preference . The elevators are a little sketchy with them being too noisy and they lag a tad. The pools are nice they have a good selection, you do need to bring your own pool towel. Great access to the beach. They do not have hot water, the hot tub is lukewarm at best and the shower doesn't get the slightest bit warm. Towels in the room were dirty and need to be thrown away if they are technically "clean". The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. It was easy to order a pizza and business will leave deals on every door daily honestly. This resort is really close to a ton of grocery stores, right next to the boardwalk and has a ton of restaurants around.

The room was supposed to be was recently renovated. The room is gross. After seeing the way the clean we figured we will do ourselves. They spray painted the refrigerator black. Oven was loaded with grease in the bottom. No plates in unit.

The pool could be a little cleaner--the Long Bay Resort (the sister hotel) is cleaner but the rooms are really clean.

We ended up loving it so much that we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. The location was honestly perfect. There was a Walmart nearby, the boardwalk and boardwalk mall were close, and there were plenty of restaurants within a short distance. The beach access was in a great spot, and the entire area felt very clean and safe. The outside pool area was modern, well maintained, and very inviting. The breakfast advertised in the lobby definitely lived up to expectations. Every morning there was a fresh breakfast along with a fun waffle-making station, which we really enjoyed. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. There was also a restaurant on the main floor with a great atmosphere, and the food was very good. There were only two downsides during our stay. The kids' splash pad -- one of the main reasons we booked this hotel -- was unfortunately out of service the entire time due to needing a new pump. We understood that these things happen. The other issue was that the rugs in the room did not seem very clean. We ended up keeping our shoes on in the room, so it wasn't a huge issue for us personally. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely book this hotel again

The hotel staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. There was also a gentleman working during breakfast on Sunday morning (I didn't catch his name) who was especially helpful and attentive. He had on a red shirt and long hair. Service like that truly makes a difference. That said, there were a couple of downsides. My oceanfront room had a noticeable wet dog smell, which was disappointing. Also, the $25 per night parking fee feels excessive. I've chosen to stay at this property for quick beach trips over the last 10 years, and unfortunately, the parking situation alone will likely keep me from returning. I also want to note that the hotel is currently under renovations (it is the off-season), so that's something to keep in mind when booking. While I'm not disappointed in the staff at all they were amazing the added costs and room issue were enough to make me reconsider staying here again.

This one was the exception! Right on the beach with amazing ocean front room. We could see the ocean from our bed. Very private, the balconies were shielded from the neighbors and even the pools below could only see us if we were out on the balcony. The views were quite stunning! In addition, the pools were nice plus you have multiple pools to choose from. In the evening, the 2nd floor patio with fire pit was great to hang out and relax. Parking is directly across the street in the parking garage. Very quick and easy to get to. Starbucks across the street as well. Highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!

Check in was a breeze. Staff was super friendly. This hotel is located in a great spot...within walking distance to lots of eateries and direct access to the beach. All of the rooms have ocean views. Initially I thought the bed position was weird but I quickly appreciated waking up to views of the beach and ocean. Everything was clean and well appointed in our king room. My only complaint is that the towels were pretty bad and extremely thin, more so than any other hotel I've visited. We went to the bar on the second floor to people watch. It's a cute spot and has access to outdoor seating with a view and fire pits. Our drinks were just "ok"...I've never had ice in a French 75 and my husband's old fashioned was made with crushed ice and not a ball or large cube which was odd. There is ample parking in the deck across the street. Overall, a nice stay!

The pool bar and restaurant were not open on June 1 or June 2 during our stay which I found odd. I thought most things would be open after memorial day. Housekeeping is only ever other day. There are not enough places to hang wet towels wet bathing suits, beach gear...everything gets messy fast. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and everything just stayed wet. We asked for housekeeping after our second night and they didn't come until a second request. It would have been nice to have clean towels on our third shower of the week. We only had semi wet ones. We ran out of toilet paper twice. We only had half a roll when we got there and they don't leave extra. Valet parking is $25 a night, but that seems typical for the beach.
