When I walked in I was surprised by how big it was, despite being more of a grab and go type situation. But it was cool to see that they also had bowls and plenty of desserts! The sushi trays were varying prices, mainly depending on the kind of sushi it was. I got the Tuna Lovers sushi for $11, a BBQ chicken bao for $6, and I couldn't help but grab cheesecake! It was two slices (one black sesame, one green tea) for $5. This was surprisingly high quality. It's set up almost like those markets you see in rest stops or at airports, but everything was really good! They also have dumplings and a few other items that are cooked to order, so there is more to them that meets the eye. You can either get a speedy snack or dine in. The staff are also very sweet and offered to heat my bao as soon as he realized I was going to buy it. I didn't even have to pay first. I will most definitely be back!

I think the main reason for the pricey chocolate is their location being only a block away from the White House and also because most of the chocolate is imported. I decided to order three fresh oysters and a half-pound of shrimp with Old Bay seasoning, and I was so excited because I absolutely LOVE seafood. The oysters? 10/10. Fresh, clean, and exactly what I hoped they'd be. Every bite reminded me why I love oysters so much. The shrimp were another highlight. They were a really nice size, perfectly seasoned with Old Bay, and paired perfectly with a little butter and lemon. They were simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. I also got to sit outside with some amazing people while everyone compared what they ordered. We had everything from red snapper and whiting to flounder, fries, sweet potato fries, and macaroni salad on the table. It was fun hearing everyone's opinions while we all rated our meals together. I thought I liked Belgian chocolate more (I'm a dark chocolate lover), but the creamy Swiss chocolate at Läderach cannot be denied. Läderach is my go-to chocolate shop to grab some festive holiday goodies - whether it's heart-shaped chocolate for Valentine's Day, chocolate bunnies for Easter, or a chocolate reindeer or angel for Christmas, Läderach offers a great selection for every occasion. This is premium chocolate, so it is pricey. The prices in the shop are the same prices as online. I do wish they had some kind of rewards/loyalty program, but I'm already a repeat customer without it. Nine times out of 10, there's a staff member standing outside the shop with a smile and a giant tray of samples to lure you in. Their chocolate hazelnut slab is smooth, rich, and delicious, and it has that perfect crunch from the nuts. I decided to deconstruct the sandwich and found exactly 4 very thinly sliced pieces of meat and 2 very thinly sliced pieces of cheese as pictured clearly in the photographs. I also noticed that the they have different prices for the same type of meats. For example, they have a $29.99 per pound Capicola and one for $9.99 a pound. I asked which went on the sandwich and of course it was the cheaper one. That wasn't surprising and getting my sandwich back to the office.
