We dont have Caribou out on the west coast, so when i tried this place for the first time, i absolutely fell in love! I definitely prefer them over Starbucks and Coffee Bean. I make it a point to stop in whenever we visit my in-laws. The service has always been amazing - quick and friendly. Definitely a regular stop for me. read more

Great service and coffee but the chicken apple sausage sandwich was almost inedible. The patty was gray and rubbery like a sponge. And upon close inspection, there was nothing resembling chicken. See for your self. read more

My go to early morning Pier 1 Imports Caribou Electric Boogaloo!!! Nestled near my store along the tree lined streets of Pheasant Ridge is Minnesota's answer to Starbucks. Though recently sold for a kabillion dollars, Caribou began with a local married couples dream and vision. This location has retained local coffee shop charm, über friendly service (seriously, it's 6:00 am, the perky nun in Sister Act has called and wants her personality back) with all the perks of a chain including competitive prices, consistency and convenience! Nothing better than rolling in at the wee, bitter cold hours of a dark winter morning, being greeted warmly, served efficiently and to throw back some great java near the fireplace to smooth out the edges. I get the egg white, spinach, provolone and pesto breakfast sandwich/coffee combo for around five bucks! Tip: Read the trivia board, changing daily, answer correctly and receive 10% off your bill! This location is closest to where I live, and unfortunately something get messed up every time I'm there. Most recently, I ordered a peach black tea... I go to grab it from the end of the counter and it doesn't have any ice. She forgot. They mix the tea concentrate with sparkling water, and she simply forgot the ice. Fine. It happens. However, she noticed and just said, "sorry, it should still be cold". Ummm... Why not just add some ice? I used to work at Caribou, so I know mistakes happen more than you would really like. This is just lazy. I also don't like that it doesn't have a drive-thru. There are a lot of other locations within 5-10 minutes away with a drive-thru, and it just makes life a little easier. read more

Maybe I'm a coffee snob. Or maybe I just like a more European standard of coffee. I've given Caribou a handful of tries and I just haven't liked it a single time. I was craving a good rich mocha this morning and my usual coffee house wasn't open yet. I went with the dark chocolate mocha...it tasted more like a bad hot cocoa. I could not taste the coffee at all. I ended up giving it to someone else. I honestly could not get myself to drink it past 3 sips. And my daughters pumpkin pie latte?? Ugh...not any better. Both coffee drinks were lacking in the rich blended flavor that we get at just about every other coffee house. On a positive note, the ambience is nice and cozy in here. Bummer. read more

Caribou actually isn't my go-to coffee shop in the area as one of the other big chains feeds my addiction, but I do enjoy stopping in every once in awhile! Hopefully the cold brew has changed as when I used to get it, it was overly bitter and always had grounds in it. Other places did it better which is what drove me to those other places. I did recently get an iced americano and it was great! I used to get turtle mochas at Caribou and they are delicious but VERY sweet! They used to use snickers and now I notice that they do not any longer (what a bummer!). Finally I LOVE the hot caramel apple drink!! I can only handle a small one as it's also overly sweet, but it's definitely buttery/spiced to perfection. As for this location, they are always consistent with the drinks and friendly service here! We have made it a tradition to bring my daughter here before her first day of school and will continue! read more

Always stop in here before I go to work every single weekend. The place is nice and cozy. Also love the workers. We pretty much all know each other. They always make good coffee whether it's a latte or a hot campfire mocha. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Caribou. Stop in every Thursday before class. Nice kids working there, they haven't messed up an order yet. The store is clean and I appreciate that the local cops are frequently occupying the large table up front. Honestly, I do. There is just something about it that makes me happy. I've been to this Caribou Coffee many many times so figured it was about to contribute my 2 cents worth. Given a choice of coffee shops I'll always go with Caribou. Just like the selection, the friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere. AND by the way they brew some really great coffee in all sorts of clever and tasty offerings from the basics through to the seasonal specials. Always hate to see their Christmas ones go away. Whenever I'm traveling the alternative options are OK, but always good to back to Caribou when I can. read more

Unfortunately this is the closest Caribou to my house and I generally like Caribou. However, my recommendation is to FIND ANOTHER COFFEE SHOP. This place is a DISASTER!!!. I've been there several times and always found the service to be slow and// or slower. The cashier never seems to know what they are doing (and there have been several). The line moves VERY slowly. Today was the final straw - when I walked in I was third in line. Fifteen minutes later I finally moved to the front and then the cashier decided to clean up and try to figure out something on the cash register for the first customer who's issue was not resolved the first time they were in line. Looking at receipts arguing about price - not taking orders. They never even acknowledged I was there and waiting FOREVER. I walked out. My recommendation is go somewhere else - anywhere else. If this were the first time the service was slow - OK everyone has a bad day, but this was just more of the same. They have two cash registers and I have never ever seen more than one cashier -even when the place is busy. I'm going to find another place to go where I can spend time DRINKING my coffee rather than just WAITING for it. read more

Absolutely amazing customer service. Every employee has given me nothing more than service that is above and beyond what I like expect. Always a smile on their faces and a cheerful attitude. It is clear that the customer is there #1 priority. 10/10 and gold stars for everyone. Oh and the drinks are superb! Never ever had an order made wrong and the turn around from order to pickup is amazing. Great atmosphere which is something I have come to expect from a Caribou! Love this location! read more
