Caribou coffee is great so far. I'm pretty sure they mixed up my order though. I had ordered a vanilla cooler but I got caramel instead.

Great coffee, decent food. Visiting from out of town and I wish we had one in Missouri! Prices are the same as you'd find at Starbucks.

Very cute interior. It would be the perfect place to do some work or catch up with a friend. I got the Raspberry Green Tea with bubbles and the pumpkin white mocha both were delicious. The staff was efficient and sweet.

This was a clean place in Canal Park that served good, fast coffee. The tables are sta ked up. They wasn't you to come in the front door and go out the back due to Covid. They were fast and friendly.

Busy place with hopping employees who still have their smiles and are polite and service oriented. They hand brewed me my decaf. The woman making the fancy drinks noticed me waiting and asked what I was waiting for to make sure it was wasn't her. The lady brewing checked in with me to let me know she was still brewing.

VERY heavily used Caribou in Canal Park. Not much other coffeeshop competition in the area. Parking can be at a premium, but it's nice they have a lot (albeit relatively small). Wifi strength is normal; not too many tables there so there won't be that many people competing for it's signal. Get your drink to go and meander around Canal Park.

What more can I say about this place that I haven't said about other Caribou Coffee Houses?I guess I am going to keep this review short and sweet tonight/ The service is always good at this particular location. The drinks do taste like they always put extra effort into it. I am currently in the process of trying to cut many many calories out of my diet but felt like dropping in for a late night hot chocolate the other night. I told the barista at the counter and he recommended a child size portion which would fulfill my craving for hot chocolate but had drastically less calories. It hit the spot and was a good recommendation. This place also has some nice loft style seating upstairs which is the perfect place to go and unwind at the end of the day. It was a great way to end a date by the lake. :D

Located…read moreconveniently in the center of Canal Park, we stopped by on a sunny Wednesday early afternoon, hoping to score some of the best sandwiches in town. Even though this was well past lunch time at 2PM, the outside patio was packed and there was a line of 10 people or so to contend with to order at the register. Due to how busy it was, our food took about 20 minutes to arrive. The Squealy Dan, Porketta ($16) - Unlike most other restaurants with Iron Range Porketta, Northern Waters slices their porketta thinly instead of pulling the pork apart. It has a pleasant spiced flavor and the texture feels as if it's cured rather than roasted. It's relatively tender, and while they give a decent amount of meat, it's completely overshadowed by the heavy spicy quality of the black pepper and the acidity and vegetalness of the crunchy pepperoncini. There's a bit of melted gooey provolone on top of the porketta. While nice, there's not enough to balance out the peppers. This is all on a crusty almost baguette-like hero roll, toasty and warm. The sandwich is served with a side dip that's essentially black pepper and pepperoncini water. Definitely not needed given how overwhelming those elements are in the sandwich. (3/5) Pastrami Mommy ($19) - I haven't had bison pastrami before. Now I know why it's not very common - it's way too lean and dry compared to beef pastrami. Still, it's nicely spiced and peppery, and there's not much of the bison gamey flavor since it's cooked out from the curing. There's a little bit of mayo underneath and some mustard on top, but it's not enough moisture or fat in my opinion to counteract the leanness of the bison. While there are some slices of provolone above the meat, they are served cold. I feel like melting it with the pastrami on the griddle would do wonders to help develop some more unctuousness. It's also served on cold rye - perhaps toasting with some butter would also help. Otherwise, the sandwich is just too dry and lean for my tastes. (3/5) I feel like I ordered the wrong items. I probably should have gone with some of the seafood sandwiches, but I found it strange they only serve Atlantic salmon rather than local lake fish. In the end, I appreciate that Northern Waters Smokehaus makes most of their meats in house, but after trying their food, I feel like it's more hype than substance. Bathrooms - Larger ones located upstairs, shared with the rest of the businesses in the mini mall. Note: Northern Waters Smokehaus charges a 3% credit card fee. We went to the Lake Ave. location in Canal Park since it was walking distance. Walking into the establishment you are greeted with the aromas breakfasts being made and a hostess who was friendly. We opted to eat outside under the covered patio to enjoy the day. The menu has plenty of options to suit one's fancy - pancakes, waffles, pecan/cinnamon rolls for those with a sweet-tooth, and of course any number of savory plates for the rest of us. Making an eating decision can prove difficult. the Huevos Rancheros looked appealing as did the breakfast sandwich, and the brisket eggs Benedict. I opted for what was behind door number four and picked the country fried steak and eggs. Much to my delight, instead of the usually Sysco food distributor breaded chopped steak topped with a gravy from an institutional food can - They actually used a rib-eye for the steak, and homemade gravy. I also had the option of toast or a pancake. I always love me some decent rye toast, but today was a day to mix it up, and the pancake was nice, and not too big. I also liked that there was an option for blueberry syrup, or Maple syrup. The other item ordered was the Greek Omelet, my wife truly enjoyed it, and they also cooked her hash-browns to order which she appreciated (she likes them really, really crispy). I this will definitely be a must have place to eat every time we are in Duluth. I highly recommend this place.

It was a bit hectic for the staff because they sat like 8 parties of 4 all at once - all with kids, so it was a lot for them to manage, but they pulled through and we were well taken care of.
