Kayaks, yachts, bikes, wind surfing fishing and a a slew of casual fun and funky eateries cropping up. It's been a few years since Noel warmly welcomed us "neighbors" into his establishment, prior to officially opening. Through the ups n Downs of Covid and him finding his business legs, we've happily supported this spot, meeting his entire family in the process. Well he is still sweet and humble but.... Busy! I mean as in this organic wine thing is... a big THING! I hi knew??? Apparently Noel did! He's graduated from the curious neighbors and locals featuring his Purity wines, to coop with a dedicated following of passionate organic wine makers and their entourage of fans , Friends devotees; restauranteurs, and media moguls all centered around the notion of organic wines aka a cast of thousands! Damn grapes never had it so good. Case and point Point now following his Instagram account lead by his bike riding enthusiast protege, Tyler, the Study hosted a massive event last weekend. We didn't plan to attend but were curious and anxious to see if it was a success or a bust. The event By the way featured more than 20 wine makers, there was food fun music and when we drove by as nosy neighbors, we heard the music pumping. Wow the crowd was massive! Standing room only spilling onto the drive way and garage bay. Of course the crowd was typical Bay Area, ethnically diverse hip, smart and totally having a blast! You may be wondering why we didn't go? We have a puppy who is bat shit cray cray. He loves people so much he would be all over anyone who say ah cute puppy and mayhem would be the result! Not to mention the wine spillage food tables rummaged. All this even tho Noel insists we bring Koa over so the team can meet him. Well maybe a lazy Thursday or Friday evening when things aren't quite off the chain.which frankly... seems to be an impossible goal. The study wine bar is chocked full of wine related happenings and the fan base has exploded! Hell I remember I had to help Noel create his Yelp account. For 2 years he had less than 10 folks commenting! Wow times have changed! To quote Steve Harvey, You go boy!!! The variety, creativity and passion of Noel and his fellow wine stompers, have the neighborhood buzzing... in a good way.

It would have been nicer if we got to stay above deck and experience fresh air. The ship was also excellent to walk through but would have liked to see more details provided. Seems like the only way to get more detailed information is with a tour but with younger kids they're not allowed to follow the tours. My kids enjoyed the experience and it was nice to discover touristy activities close to home that's affordable.

There are guided (takes you to the engine room) and self-guided tours; both are educational. The ship is managed by the Richmond Museum of History and the loving caretakers are volunteers. There is a small gift shop and theatre. Their existence is based on donations, pancake breakfasts, movie/hall rentals, and gift shop. The ship is not suited to persons with limited mobility. You have to walk up this steep, shaky steel ladder to get on board. Once on board, you have to walk up narrow stairs to go up and down floors. The engine room's ladder to go down was very steep. You couldn't see the rung of the next step. If you have a phobia, this is not for you. Just avoid the engine room. Aside from that, the ship was interesting and if you are a WWII history buff, this ship is worth seeing.

We all started at the Tiburon RR Mueum where we got a nice overview of the areas history. Who knew this was all a giant Railroad yard at one time? Tried a variety of great foods and wine along the way. They were prepared especially for us by the chefs at each restaurant. Had some delicious deviled eggs and hush puppies with honey butter at the tavern. It was served with a good glass of Chardonnay though I don't recall the name. At Sams had a delicious shrimp dish with crunchy toast. It was paired with a JCB Rose from Province that Renee brought She also gave us some lavender cheese which was a perfect complement to the wine. Went next door to Luma Blue and were served eggplant parmigiana paired with a bold Tuscan Red. Strolled to the cafe owned by the same family and got coffee with cannoli. To top it off we had Meyers port from Anderson Valley with a crunchy cookie (also from the cafe) at the top of Tiburon. It was a great unrushed tour through some of Tiburon's finest restaurants for delicious food and wine pairings. Great way to enjoy the town or to host out of town guests.

I would recommend this as a team activity, or would also love to try this with a small group of friends!

They are prepared w/ a Luxury black shuttle van. Paul (our driver) was so informative and so knowledgeable about the Sonoma and Napa History. I appreciate how they already had an itinerary planned out for the day. We visited 4 wineries which one had a wonderful farm to table lunch waiting for us (which this was included in ticket price) Each winery visited made us feel at home/great stories/great people and great wine waiting for us upon arrival! Wine tasting fees are addl around $35-40 per person. Our last winery visited Paul helped us to get TSA approved shipping boxes which wine got home safely! Wish we could've stayed longer at Buena Vista and Sangiacomo. Would highly recommend wine trolley/bus tour and felt ticket price was reasonable for having great service/knowledgeable driver/lunch for an all day tour.

Would definitely do this again and highly recommend!
