They have a food truck outside if you want some food. They also have Mexican food across the street as well that's worth a try. They also have a hard seltzer and a smoothie beer usually on top for those who don't drink beer. Honestly all their IPA's are great and they make delicious hazy IPA's as well. They also have happy hour Monday all day where beers are $6 each. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

She was rude and saying the kids weren't allowed at the bar area when the place clearly says kid friendly. We felt uncomfortable and decided to close tab, and she continued to show aggression and make sure we knew she was the manager and was nothing we can do about it. Been to many breweries and this is the worst so far just due the management. Update on my review.... I just got kicked out and I'm sure it was due to the review. The manager herself asked us to leave right after the review. When we asked why all she could say was because my kids were running around having fun with no warning whatsoever that they were being disruptive, how coincidental.

Located in the back of the building where you park (free parking & big lot)! They have about one beer of every kind, so limited options but also not limited. :) They ran out of some of the canned beers I'd would've wanted to take home, but I guess that's just how good their beer is!

The brewery is dog friendly, there's a bunch of games -- including a pool table, Pop-A-Shot, and arcade games, and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The one con to the space however is that there's a bunch of mosquitos inside. In the span of ten minutes, my friend and I were both bitten four times. If you're sensitive to mosquito bites, you'll definitely want to wear long pants and/or a jacket to keep the mosquitos at Bay. The beers here are fine. There wasn't a single beer that was amazing enough where I'd go out of my way to get it again. Although there's a wide variety of beers, most of them are on the lighter side. In term of food options, there was a single food truck parked outside on the day that we stopped by. That said, they do allow outside food. Overall, East Brother Beer Company was fine, but not a standout brewery experience for me.

I was ignored from the moment I went into there until I left. They had a selection and some decent prices, but apparently, they are left over from the part of San Pablo who really isn't into the race mixing. Someone was working on a spreadsheet? or something on the computer at a desk behind the platform where the cashier was standing. I was clearly looking, but when the bare minimum, "Hello, welcome. Can I help you look for something?" the floor becomes the making of something fancy, then something was wrong. I had one more stop to go after this. I was working too hard to find a drink to pair with my meal. The couple there remind me of the racists who ignore you. They don't call you names or look at you funny. I thought it was odd, because I thought that they'd want my money. I even found a good bottle of wine for a deal, but I don't knowingly spend my money with such people, so I left. Also, the desk, which was almost in the middle of the sales floor was strewn with papers and a real mess. That should never be shown to the public. I don't know why I'm helping them, but clearly these people never went to charm school, which is where I'd send them to learn some manners.

I have been exploring their selection of Whiskey and Bourbon lately and I found one that I truly do not like. In fact, it shouldn't sit on the same shelf as Takamine! This Whiskey/Bourbon is NO WHERE NEAR the same class as Takamine. PLEASE!!!! Put this down lower with the cheap Bourbon's as it will never compare with the "TOP SHELF" bourbon you sell at your fine establishment. It has no flavor profile. It is not unique. It does not make you think you are reborn. It is not a top shelf bourbon. I am open to discussions...

Welp, I came in again finally. Last time I was in here was 2023 (I left up my last review so you…read morecould see I was a fan of this place). Had a lot of beers left over from before Covid so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I've been trying to come back here for the last 4 weeks. Came by 4 times. The first three times it was closed - during open hours. The first time they had a sign "family emergency" which is understandable. The last two times I came by during open hours and they were just closed. Not acceptable. I'm guessing other people who kept coming by during open hours only to find them close will not come back again. Today, October 31, 2025 was going to be the last time - if they were closed again I would not come back. They were open. I went in and looked at the beers. There's a lot of really dirty bottles in the fridge. I pulled a Knee Deep out and looked at the date. It said 2015. I thought maybe it was so dirty I wasn't reading it right. Pulled out another one. 2015. Pulled out some other bottles. More from 2015 and 2016. We're in 2025. This is not a typo or a gag. He's selling beers from 2015. And he's selling this at full price. 7 bucks a pop. IPAs have a shelf life. Imagine getting a bottle of Knee Deep Citra home that you paid 7 bucks for and getting the tasteless, flat, bad water you're going to have with a ten year old bottle of beer. Kept looking. Found one 4 pack that was from May of this year - that was it. That was the only one I could find of the beers I looked at that was semi-recent. Some of the stuff had no date - knowing they sell decade old beer I would not buy any of it. Then I found one four pack that was from 2014. 2014. Eleven years ago. This is not a typo. He sells beer from 2014 in 2025 as fresh, full priced beer. IPAs. Never again. This is a place called "BOTTLES" who's main deal is his craft beer. And he's selling decade old beer at full price (shouldn't be selling decade old beer at any price). I used to be a big fan of this place - now I just want to warn people - if you go here for beer - look at the dates. And if you get a chance, sort the reviews here on yelp for Bottles by stars and look at the other one star reviews. All the one star reviews are the same as mine - complaining about old beer. But these are all from 2019 and before. So this guy was doing it back then - and the beers I'm seeing here today are probably the same beers these people back in 2019, 2018, 2017 were complaining about - still in the freezer. I give Bevmo crap for selling year old beer. Imagine selling 11 year old beer at full price. Unethical and incredibly bad business. Never again.

I don't consider myself a beer connoisseur, but I like trying different beers and ciders so this place was right up my alley. I had a friend visiting Berkeley from out of town so we came here to hang out and catch up. One thing that stood out to me is this place, because it's a taproom and not a brewery, is open later than the other beer places in the East Bay. Many choices of beer and cider on tap. I tried the ginger peppercorn cider and it was very unique, I've never had a cider like this flavor, it's almost like a cross between ginger beer and cider. My friends enjoyed various beers on tap. The place is pretty small but very clean and cute. I like that you can choose from 10 oz or 16 oz pour, so people like me can try more varieties in smaller portion than just drinking one boring thing. I like variety. The all you can eat popcorn was a hit with our little group. The truffle flavor really elevates the popcorn and it goes well with beer! There's so much free parking in this area at night... super convenient... although it scared me for a minute when I couldn't find my car in the very empty street lot, before I realized I was another block farther down. This area of Berkeley feels pretty safe at night even at 11pm. Good place. I would definitely go again!

I love this place now…read more It helps that I live only a couple blocks away from here. But man is the food good now. I feel like I've been going here at least once a month with friends and the experience is always really good. When we enter the music is always good. Usually it's some kind of oldie R&B or rock I think. This recent visit we tried the sliders for the 1st time and man were they good! They are better than the actual burger they have on the menu. The other one with the fig jam just tastes like it's trying too hard. I get that it's Benicia and the brewery is trying to be a little more upscaled but man I miss the burger they had with the Bacon Jam.
