It's unfortunate that someone shared a negative review after receiving a free, beautiful facepainting compliments of the generosity of the HOA, but it is not a reflection on Brenda or her stellar work, just on the popularity of her service at a well attended event. We hired Kevin for our son's 1st birthday party. Our guests were all entertained by having their…read moreportraits done but the one comment that kept coming up, "he's not very nice". I would agree, Kevin was not friendly with me, my husband, or our guests. We originally had him outside under the professional tent we had rented due to weather. When the yard started flooding we moved him and our face painter into the house. My cousin literally carried Kevin through the soaked back yard into the house. The face painter kept a good attitude and spirit but Kevin just seemed mad. We arrived before the yard started flooding and had our portrait done first and Kevin wouldn't even smile at us even through we were the ones who hired him and paid him. Unprofessional. If you don't like what you do, don't do it. If you had weather concerns due to the downpour we had Saturday, then you could have called me to ensure you'd be indoors. We were obviously aware of the weather and trying to accommodate everything and everyone. We had tens of thousands of dollars invested in this birthday party from caterers, bartenders and ice sculptures to professional Hawaiian dancers. Everyone arrived with a smile on their face and went with the flow. If you are planning a party, I would not suggest hiring Kevin. Sad.

Then she sat and fanned herself what was a good 15 minutes. The girl that finally waited on us was very nice but you could tell she was pulling the weight of the other one.
