I'm so happy to have come across this office on Yelp. I wanted to make sure my kids had a good first experience at the dentist -- as this sets the tone for all future appointments -- & after reviewing their ratings I decided it sounded like a good place to visit. Every person we talked to was very welcoming including the doctor. My toddler is very curious and they were friendly towards him as well as my 1.5 year old who was giving a little push back towards her cleaning. The doctor was even humming a little Lullaby while doing her cleaning that calmed her down immediately and she let him do everything he needed to. Sometimes doctors offices have this passive / passive aggressive tone to them and this is absolutely not the case here. We visited my daughter's dentist at their new location today and loved it. My daughter felt comfortable and excited the moment we walked in, which says a lot for a dentist visit. The office was clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed with a fun beach and underwater theme that feels more like a little aquarium than a dental office. As a mom, I really appreciate when a place goes the extra mile to make kids feel comfortable, and Caring Kids Dental absolutely does. We've always had great experiences with this practice, but their new location makes it even better. I'm so glad we followed them after the move. Disappointed. Felt like I was being scammed. I called after being recommended from another customer to see if my insurance was eligible or not. They asked for my insurance and then asked for my network (PPO). I gladly gave them all the information they requested and then after giving all my information the front lady told me I have to fill out a profile for my child (which is totally fine) and then they would have to get an exam done, after that they would send the paperwork and see if my insurance was in network. I have never heard of that. I then asked them what if I was not in network, she proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for the service, and if I wanted to pay cash, it would be $150. This establishment immediately made me feel like I was being scammed. Doesn't make sense to ask me all these questions and then say my child would need an examination before finding out if it's covered. That's the whole point of calling ahead of time, why would I go somewhere if I'm not covered through my insurance? So instead of being upfront with a potential client, they tried to get me in for a service so that I might have had to pay out of pocket. Why proceed to ask me questions about my insurance if you are not able to give me an upfront answer? Looks like I will be taking 4 children to be new clients elsewhere. Very disappointed. read more

Yesterday was our first visit to Caring Kids Dental and we couldn't have been happier with the care our children received. My son was nervous because he has a loose tooth that he didn't want to be touched much, but Amanda was his incredible hygienist and she went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable and trusted her before moving forward with each step of the cleaning. My daughter held onto a weighted stuffy during her cleaning which helped her stay calm. The dentist we met with was friendly and knowledgable and the building was clean and beautifully decorated.
