excellent service, on time, fast, and extremely careful with my things…read more would recommend them completely to anyone in need of help. Superlative in all ways, the movers you want!

You will be impressed with this company, and they are honest…read more ALBO moved me last week, and this was my 2nd time using them. I moved from Delaware to NJ and this time, back to Delaware. My team consisted of Alex, the owner, who honored their 5 % discount if booked 3 weeks before moving, and my movers, Eugene and Serge. Eugene contacted me the day before to confirm & ask some questions about my contents, and he kept me informed all along as to their arrival time. All went well but it took longer than expected with only 2 men. They were careful and followed my instructions re: delicate or previously damaged furniture. I asked if they would tell me when the heavy furniture was coming inside because I wanted to put padding on the legs to protect the wooden floors. This slowed them up but it helped me because I might have forgotten about doing that later. Also, I asked them to carry many boxes to the basement, and that I appreciated so much. I was very concerned about one piece, an antique rocker that had 2 breaks in one leg. Much to my surprise, Eugene placed a reinforced bandage on the leg and I am still using it until I take it to get repaired. While packing the month before, I had forgotten where I had hid some valuable jewelry. Well, low and behold, when my bedroom was already emptied, I saw my 2 stashes of gold and silver on the window sill. When I went to Eugene, I commented that I would never have known if they had kept it, and thanked him profusely. His response, "My parents taught me right, I guess." As far as Albo's rates and overall value go....You can't put a price on this kind of integrity and work ethic. The fact that I used them twice in 2 years speaks for itself. Packing for a move is one of the worst stresses in life. But having a moving company that is reliable and trustworthy will free up your mind to concentrate on other important things during your move.

I contacted four different moving companies to move us from our large two bedroom sixth floor…read moreapartment (elevator building) to our small two bedroom home. Meetunghouse's form for the request was by FAR the easiest to fill out. On the day of the move, they brought everything we needed (moving blankets etc.) We boxed everything else ourselves before they arrived. The three movers assigned were cheerful and helpful and did their job very, very well. We've moved a lot over the years and this was one of the best experiences we had. They even helped us pick up a Facebook marketplace patio set on our way! Remember to tip your movers - it's hard work!!

I hired Meetinghouse to pack for me and move all the stuff. Mostly everything moved from one place…read moreto another, but the packers forgot to pack some things and the movers were stressed! The packers and movers were two different crews - one worked Thursday afternoon and the other Friday afternoon - which may have contributed to the problem, because the movers were definitely not pleased with the packers. It got to the point towards the end of day 2 where I just told folx to put stuff down because I felt guilty about how hard the move was on them. Based on the other reviews, I'm thinking I might have caught some of the folx on off-days? I will say they were prompt and polite, and Sway really tried to make up for what he could tell was not the smoothest move. It was not an inexpensive move, but the price matched with other companies I got quotes from. *I'd recommend not asking them to move plants because almost all of the plants they handled lost limbs. Not sure how to get around this if you're a person without a car or just want everything moved in one trip, but I'm glad I moved most of the plants myself. Art was handled delicately though!

I have used movers many times in my life. This is the worst experience I have ever been through…read more - Jay the sales rep misrepresented the charging based on the square footage estimation and the delivery date. - The foreman of the move guessed on my storage dimensions thinking it was larger saying I'd owe more money. His estimation was wrong. - My deposit with Jay was done via debit/credit card but the new fee renegotiated with "Farah" the manager had to be done via checking account withdraw. Shady. - It was implied that upon pick up, the move would begin. In fact, during follow ups, some told me my things had left while others said it still sat in the warehouse. - Because the arrival dates were now unclear and no one was returning emails or calls, I confirmed with a receptionist to have the movers call a family member to meet the movers on arrival since I was leaving town. I got NO notice before these 3rd party movers called. They had NO idea about calling the family member AND had no knowledge of my previous payments, now asking for the full amount. - The night prior, the movers said they'd arrive Saturday 8/9/14 between 9-11. My people where there. These guys never showed up and are not answering phones.

Horizon Movers is the biggest scam going. This was my…read moreexperience with them, and I am still living with this hell. Jay the sales guy will sell you on a price after you have listed all the items you are moving, and in our case we were moving 2 homes from different location, one from PA to FL, and the other from CA to FL. On both moves we got a price and were told if they could pick it up right away that they could have it delivered in about 10 to 12 days. I should have known there was a problem when the movers showed up late, and then there first thing they could say to me was that we had to pay more money, that what the sales guy said was an estimate. That is not what Jay had told me. After going back and forth with them we came up with the extra money. I should have sent them away. The truck got loaded and they asked what day we wanted delivery and they wrote it down. The week that it was supposed to arrive I called my sales guy to find out what time he thought it would arrive, and he said he would have to call me back, he never calls back, I have to keep chasing him down, and he also will put you on hold forever, hoping you will hang up. After many phone calls to him and his managers, they finally admit the items never shipped, that they are still in there warehouse. I am livid at this point at that start letting me know that there policy is up to 21 days before they have to deliver, but I told them that is not what my sales guy had told me. As of this review our furniture has been in there hands for now 2 weeks and it still has not shipped, we are not sure when it will get here, and you get no answers from them. Do not use this company, you might get tempted because of there low quote but don't buy into the scam. They are criminals, and should actually be put in jail. You are dealing with the lowest of low when you use this company. I am sure they all find it amusing when you call and complain, but in the end they are still in a loser job. When you are dealing with simpletons this is what you get. From the sales guy to the managers.....
