My family orders from Carini's pretty often, sometimes more than once in a week. Although I have never gone in to order or pick up, their delivery is super quick! The employees who deliver are always very friendly. Never had an issue. Today we ordered a pizza, wings and seasoned fries. I absolutely love their old bay wings and appreciate the fact there is an option for "crispy" when you order. The seasoned fries are tasty but as expected aren't super crispy upon arrival. The pizza was awesome today. We chose sausage, pepperoni, onions and banana peppers. Yes, the pizza isn't a NY pizza but I'd still eat it any day. Although he didn't order it today, my husband raves over their chicken cheesesteak. He had one earlier in the week. I have tried a few of their pasta dishes, manicotti and meatballs for example. My husband and I have ordered from here a few times and enjoyed the food. Tonight, however, we phoned an order in at 6:32 and were told it would be delivered in 20 minutes. Awesome. 7:35 arrives...still no pizza. My husband called to see where our pizzas were and was told it should be here by now. Yeah, we know. We have ordered from here a few times now since moving to the area. A few orders a go the food was really good, the last order was completely wrong, and the order we placed tonight was delivered cold. I was told when I ordered it that it would be about 45 minutes for delivery. No problem. I ordered at 5:30 and that's when things get busy; I understand that. However, it didn't take 45 minutes, it took an hour and 15 minutes. When it arrived we opened the "bread sticks" (which were mediocre at best as far as taste goes) and they were cold. I then opened the pizza to check if it was the same and it was also cold. I don't mean like almost hot or between warm and hot. It was barely warm but closer to cold. It's as if it had been out of the oven being transported in a cold car for 30-45 minutes. We actually had to heat it up. When I called to let them know it wasn't hot, the person who I spoke to, not the manager, couldn't have cared less. "Nothing I can do about that boss. We don't usually deliver over there so it is what it is. You're just going to have to deal with it." DEAL WITH IT?!?!?!? That's not the answer. A) you have delivered here multiple times and we have never had an issue and we almost always order at the same time, B) you could have told me on the phone that you don't deliver to our area (even though you have before), and C) don't tell me "I recommend you pick it up next time so it's hot when you get it." This guy was the exact opposite of customer service. When I asked to speak to the manager he said he wasn't in but he would have him call me. I'm not holding my breath because this guy was a complete piece of garbage with no concern for the customers. There are plenty of other pizza places around with average tasting pizza but with good customer service that we can order from. I always tip the driver quite well. My order was $60 and we tipped him $10. Unfortunately for the drivers there, I foresee their tips decreasing due to the lack of concern from the staff to make sure the food is hot. Shame on you Carini's for letting your customer service slip because of one piece of garbage in your store. We may only be one of your many customers but we will not be ordering from you again. We will be going back to Sam's or 1978 Pizza. They both have great customer service and, based off of these last two orders, better food at this point. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!! read more

We called immediately and were told " why are you calling now 1 hour after your order was placed". After a 15 minute ordeal, Carinis agreed to send the correct pizza, however delivery would be about 1 hour. Doordash agreed to refund $15.00 of the $100.00 bill. 1.5 hours later, Carinis was called and asked what happened to the pizza. I have ordered from here about a dozen times, and I rarely have a complaint. I tried to use their online ordering for the first time and was disappointed to find that you cant place your order, and then pay cash when they deliver the food. We really wanted this option because we had 5 people ordering so it was easier to pass around my phone and let everyone order what they wanted, but we just wanted to put our cash together and pay instead of deciding who would use their card. But we just called it in instead...but after we had taken the time to put all the order in online, it was frustrating. But the real complaint I have tonight is their GRAVY. We have ordered their fries many times but this time some people wanted them with gravy. It was probably the worst thing I have ever had there. The gravy is very thin...almost like water...and tastes like they took canned gravy and added water. No one wanted to eat it! As a loyal customer for years, I will never eat there again! I ordered a pizza and mozzarella sticks last night for dinner. The employee on the phone told me it would take 35 minutes to arrive which was great because I ordered right at dinner time and I assumed the place was going to be busy so 35 minutes was very quick compared to other delivery places. So an hour went by and still no food. I called them to make sure they hadn't forgotten about the order. They told me that the driver should be at my home any second. 20 minutes later, still nothing. I called again and the person on the phone told me the driver was lost and apparently had been lost for 45 minutes! I never got one phone call from anyone asking for directions or even notifying me that the driver could not find the house. How long would they have kept driving around if i hadn't called in? I have ordered from this restaurant thousands of times with no issues. I understand that there are new drivers and occasionally people can't find homes but the issue is, the employee on the phone was very rude and non sympathetic. An hour and a half compared to 35 minutes with no call is unacceptable. The employee offered no discount and didn't even apologize for the delay. I told the employee on the phone that he can tell his driver to turn around and refund my money because by now the food would have been cold. They driver STILL showed up 10 minutes later and was apologetic. I do feel bad, but we had to turn him away. Whoever the employee was on the phone should know that they just lost a loyal customer and should not be so rude to customers who are just wondering why the order is taking an hour and a half to arrive. read more

Hands down my favorite pizza in Anne Arundel County. I don't understand the negative reviews at all but I have never ordered in, I've only done pick up so perhaps there is a difference in quality from one to the other but my personal experiences here have been nothing but outstanding. I just ordered lunch here to be delivered to my work. I ordered a chicken salad wrap, hot turkey platter, and a Diet Coke. They forgot my drink, and the chicken salad was really nothing special. The overall environment of the eatery could use work, on the other hand their food is pretty good. Ugh, where do I start? First, we didn't get what we ordered. They had "sicilian & pan pizza" listed on the menu and when I ordered the pan pizza specifically, the girl on the phone repeated "pan" to me, explained they only had it in a 9" or 13" so I ordered the larger size with additional toppings. I ordered some other sides and she quoted me a 45 min delivery time. They arrived 20 minutes after the quoted time, making the delivery over 1 hour. What I received was cold cheese pizza that looks like the 'cardboard' frozen pizza reheated. The sides were also cold, everything was just terrible. The wings were bad, I've never had bad wings in my life! The garlic bread was a sub roll with garlic butter inside, again cold, and the mozzarella sticks were rubbery. One bite sent oil oozing out, this food didn't seem like it was made on site but just reheated from frozen food. Oh and it gets worse! I called them immediately after we realized the pizza was the wrong one and the same girl on the phone told me she "didn't understand what I meant by 'pan pizza'. How is that possible? It's on the menu! Then after talking with someone, possibly manager, she told me that "if our drivers are in the area they will bring you another pizza or we can get it to you next time." I told here there wasn't going to be a next time and either they bring us what we ordered or give us a refund. After talking again to her manager, she said someone will bring us another pizza. That was 40 minutes ago and we have yet to see the corrected order. After eating the other food and part of the mistake pizza, at this point, I don't care if they bring it or not. I have never had such bad pizza in my life and the service is just terrible, they don't even know what they are doing. Avoid this place!!! It is the WORST PIZZA!!!! Total rip off! read more
