The cheesy garlic bread was something else, it was merely a strip of bread that was fileted and had a garlic rub and actual slices of cheese on the bread. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 but then I got to the pizza. Not my slice of pie that I would buy but if you like really thin sauce and a small layer of toppings this would potentially be your slice. I got just a cheese slice and it was very thick on the carb side of things. Very thick Sicilian pizza type with a deep dish, thin sauce, and thin toppings (just cheese). Food is very good but staff is RUDE RUDE RUDE. Order from Doordash recently. The driver messed up and picked up the wrong order. When I called the restaurant to coordinate with the driver to correct the mistake I was hung up on. I guess they were pissed about the mix up...... This was after calling the 1st time and being placed on hold for 15 mins, and no one ever came to the line. Piazza Italia is the closest I've found to the pizza I can get back home within 10 minutes of my home. I'm usually skeptical about trying pizza places but the pizza here didn't disappoint. I usually order my pizza half plain and half pepperoni. I'm typically pretty simple with my toppings the first few times I try a pizza shop. Their pizza is good. We love the chicken pesto, and Piazza Italia has become our go to whenever we want pizza. The slices are HUGE, so we always ask for double cut. 50/50 they do it, but it's not super hard to recut slices at home so that's not a huge negative. It's a little disappointing that the garlic bread doesn't come with marinara dipping sauce. The bread was super garlicky, though. We never use GrubHub with them, for whatever reason it's way more expensive with this place than others. I always pick up our orders. This is an excellent local pizza joint in Glen Burnie MD. They have really good New York style pizza. You can choose from a ready made selection of pizza by the slice or customize your own. The crust is deliciously thin and crispy, with a fresh light sauce and quality cheese. I often order just plain cheese slices to savour those aspects of the pizza without any toppings getting in the way. They also have a really good eggplant pizza which although not for me, looks superb and is a favourite in my family. There is more than just pizza on here. They have a full Italian menu. All of the entrees look top-notch as well. One of the daily specials includes a sub and fries, which are really good. Service can be a bit curt at times, but they always come through and if there are any issues they do make it right. The facility is kept nice and clean. They have a single TV, usually tuned to a Spanish soccer league if you are in to that. Overall a good experience, both take away and dining in. A great local establishment you should try! read more

First off, customer service is excellent! The owner helped us out as this was our first time. He explained what was in the special that my wife wanted to order. We ordered a large pepperoni/bacon pie, cappricio, and chicken/shrimp pasta special (forgot what it was called but it was really tasty) All of the food was great! I tried this place for the first time tonight.  I ordered 6 buffalo wings and the chicken pesto wrap combo.  Service was friendly and prompt.  My order, with the 2 extra blue cheeses came out correctly.  The fries were just out of the fryer, and very good.  The wrap was good too...one of the only places that actually grills the outside of the wrap a bit.  I appreciated that.  The wings were of the pre-breaded, pre-frozen variety.  They werent good (minus one star).  This experience happened during the 2cd wknd restaurants were allowed to open during phase 2 of the covid recovery plan.  I bring this up bc my table was extra sticky.  I thought about deducting at least a star for that.  But i decided to just mention it, and let readers make their own determinations about it.  You never know what small businesses are going thru right now.  But it did skeeve me out tonight.  Friendly and smiling staff. Walked in 1 day last week and ordered a veggie pizza. It was amazing. Mushrooms, onions, broccoli, roasted red peppers, ricotta. The bottom crust was sturdy. The end crust was ok... (too much flour on it). And the topping were proportioned. I ordered a veggie pizza today via door dash, and I almost couldnt believe it came from the same place. NOT bad. But not what I was anticipating. They made a pizza that was bigger then I ordered, so instead of just putting it in the correct box or re-making it, they put a 16" pie in a 14" box, which rolled 3 sides of the pizza!!! The toppings were mushrooms, onions, broccoli, spinach, and tomatoes. It was ok, but OVER-LOADED with toppings and I'd (personally) rather have roasted red peppers, and ricotta over tomatoes and spinach. The customer service in this place is what made me a faithful customer. In five years, I have NEVER gotten the pizza, but I am a fan of the Pasta Napoletana. My favorite pizza in the area. I don't care for sweet sauce like you get a Ledo's. Plaza's sauce has that tangy tomato flavor like you would find in NY/NJ pizzerias. Cheese blend is hard to describe - more complex than just straight up mozzarella. Whatever cheese they use it's spot on. Crust is just right - no too thin not to thick.
