I have no doubt this business, Ryan Automotive, has done good work on people's vehicles in the…read morepast. Judging from the reviews, most people seem satisfied with services rendered. However, in my opinion, from the standpoint of someone garnering quotes for a future mirror replacement, the receptionist or customer service associate who answered the phone did not have a good enough concept of (potential) customer relations. After a truly harrowing, somewhat traumatizing freeway experience, I thought the person answering the phone would at least have some kind of empathy or even just a professional, friendly tone. My initial request to speak to a mechanic or service advisor was ignored. Anyways, I volunteered info about the make, model, year and color of the car, but she only seemed interested in the VIN number, which I provided. Any other place asks for all of this info. She actually said I read the VIN number too fast at the end of my reading of it, which makes no sense as I never read numbers that fast out of courtesy. I even took the extra step of making sure she got the letters correctly, but, again, she did not appreciate that. Instead, she rather unprofessionally and abruptly ended the entire call. I've never had this kind of low vibration, low intelligence customer service from any auto-related business. So, I called back and left a message thinking perhaps the owner would contact me either the same day or the next, to no avail. Every other business I have contacted, from dealerships to independent repair and body shops, have had much more impressive and professional communications.

They even fixed a dent on my bumper for free when I came in for other unrelated repair work. Definitely stop in if you're in the area and talk to the front desk about any work you need done on your car.

Perhaps it's a generational shift, but after dealing with various contractors, lawn services, restaurants and repair shops, many businesses do the absolute minimum, just enough not get fired. However, Manny at NTouch Autotint & Accent is a breath of fresh air. He is a true professional who delivers high-quality work in a timely manner. While his excellent rating drew me in, but what really impressed me was how gracefully he handled the only two low reviews he's received which told me everything I needed to know about his character. My wife and I are thrilled with the work he performed on her vehicle. If you want someone you can trust with your car, someone who actually cares about the quality of their work, Manny is the person to call. Thank you, Manny--please keep up the exceptional work. You've earned a customer for life.

I pulled on it and it was locked. I looked to see an "open" sign or light or anything and pulled again. I started to walk back to my car and the door opens and he looks at me and says "why did you pull on my door like that?". I said "I have an appointment". He said "you did not have to pull on my door like that". No "good morning" no "thank you for coming to get work done" just straight confrontation. I just flashed a peace sign and said "have a good day man". I own my own company and I can tell you how I treat my customers matters. I dont know if he did not want to do the work or what but I am just left scratching my head. maybe I am an isolated incident but just so you know.

I brought the car to Thunderbolt, and they check out the transmission and found it was not the problem. They found the problem was a bad wheel bearing, which was recently. I took the car back to the shop who originally replaced the bearing and had it fixed under warranty. Thunderbolt was very accommodating, and while they could have replaced the wheel bearing, they agreed I should take it back to the shop who originally replaced it. Their honesty and good advice is refreshing. I recommend Thinderbolt, and I expect they will take care of you, as they took great care of me!

About three years ago, Thunderbolt rebuilt the original engine in my 1971 Chevy Vega and did a great job. The original quote was for the standard items in any rebuild and it was clearly stated that after the tear down the price could go up if it was discovered that more work was needed to be done. I understood this and only a ignoramus would not. My price did go up because more was needed but it was perfectly legit. I used to own a body shop and had the same issue. You make your best guess on what is needed with a visual inspection but after the tear down in almost all cases more damage was discovered. The insurance adjusters knew this but the idiot customer would push back, like they are here.
