Breakfast looked amazing but was very bland.

This is my first experience ever with a Bed and Breakfast and it was quite great! As soon as we walked into the foyer, the house felt warm and cozy. We stayed here as a more affordable option to the big casino's for new years eve. The location is very easy to find, in the summer it must be great to be literally half a block from the beach. We stayed in the first floor, room #3, which was a smaller room right when you walk in. I don't suggest getting this room if you are a light sleeper, since you do hear everything happening in the living room that is adjacent to the room. Luckily for us, we sleep through almost anything. The bed was very comfy, we had a nice sized tv inside and had all the amenities of a hotel room available. Although the fridge and ice were outside the room, it wasn't a big deal. The personal touches of the Carisbrooke that I loved was how they gave out champagne, cheese and snacks upon arrival. They also had free water, soda and juice and brownies and fruit available. As for the next morning, it was a gourmet breakfast menu we got to pick from pancakes, omlettes and all that. The one major downfall is that they have no parking. There is street parking available nearby, but it is still a walk and not knowing the area, we would've preferred to have the car up front. The wifi also is really bad all over the place. The jitney bus service is nearby, a few blocks away to get to the casinos for cheap ($2 pp!) as well which is great. Overall, I would definitely return, espcially during warm weather months to enjoy being this close to the beach.

Just relaxing after a long walk on the beach!

I stayed here with my dog on 4/27-4/28/16. What a wonderful place to be!! I was looking for somewhere very close to the beach to stay with my dog. Found this place on BringFido.com. They have 1 room at the Inn that is dog-friendly. And, I have nothing but good things to say about this place!....from the helpful and accommodating staff....to the lovely room... to the great location...to the fabulous price! The room has a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove, sink, and cooking utensils. Also has 2 small sitting areas, and the peaceful bedroom. The place was very nicely decorated and "beachy"!! There ended up being a leak in my bathroom, and the mgr came over within moments to assess the situation. He came up with a solution to get us through the evening, until he could fully fix the problem the next day. He was very nice and apologetic. But, really...was no problem to deal with at all. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully plated! The common room is a very relaxing and lovely atmosphere. They even offer free bottles of water and cookies/fruit/coffee/tea throughout the day. Will definitely be back to stay here again!!

We had a fabulous time. The beds were luxurious. The bathrooms were immaculate and new. The food was first class and the setting was perfect for our gathering. Thank you. Outside Activities: We had dinner at Angelo's, minutes away. We walked the boardwalk and enjoyed the beach. We finished the day with dinner at the casinos before going home. A terrific alternative to a casino stay. My conference experiences are changed forever for the better!

    Pancake breakfast was delicious!

My boyfriend and I decided to stay here for our first time in Atlantic City. We stayed in room 10. This little inn is absolutely adorable and feels like home! Check in was ridiculously simple, and the owners are so nice. There were cookies out when we arrived, and around 5pm they put out sangria and hors d'oeuvres in the sitting area. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic; I got the pancakes and my boyfriend had French toast. They also had a little continental breakfast available. Our room had a detached bathroom across the hall, which we didn't mind. They provided robes to wear to and from the bathroom. The room was cozy and fairly small, but not uncomfortable. The entire thing was pink and frilly - really cute, though kind of girly for my boyfriend I guess. The bathroom was bigger than I expected. Everything was very clean and nice. The whole place just has a really charming, welcoming feel. It's right on the beach, which is beautiful. The only downside is that it isn't within walking distance of most of the casinos - especially with the cold weather. Luckily the Jitney bus system comes nearby, and will take you to any casino you want. It's $2 a ride, so totally doable, but I do wish we had been just a bit closer to the main area. We had dinner reservations at a restaurant in Resorts, right next to the Trump Taj Mahal and the Steel Pier. That was over 3 miles away - so definitely not walkable in nice clothes. If you're looking for an adorable, quiet, and romantic place to stay, I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Gorgeous, calm day at the beach.

Carisbrooke Inn is very charming, offers all beach amenities such as beach tags, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels. Everything is spelled out and made perfectly clear. Breakfast is made from scratch deliciousness, everything is fresh and made to order. The young lady from Lithuania is very lovely and exceptional. We were giving the stay the day package which is another lovely gesture. We check out but can use the beach amenities as we had when checked in.

It was our first time staying here and the ambiance is on point. The first thing we noticed when we walked in the hotel was the amazing smell. My brother fell in love with the scent and asked a worker what it was, but unfortunately he didn't know anything. He mentioned it's the cleaning solutions he was using LMAO. No sir it's a hotel scent diffuser just say you don't know. Anywho as we were all checked in and went to the North Tower to our adjoining rooms, we got settled in and admired our rooms which was so spacious and I love that especially the bathroom :) We had an amazing view of the little theme park across from our hotel and to see the Ferris wheel light up at night was such a treat to look at from our beds. We finally went straight to eat. We found a cool buffet restaurant in the hotel that was really darn good. I had a little bit of everything but that New York strip steak with their chimichurri sauce was absolutely divine. I cannot remember the name of the restaurant, but I gave it 10 out of 10. After we ate, we went back upstairs and put on our swimsuits to go to the pool now here is where my review shifts left. I did not care for the pool as beautiful as the hotel is. The pool was lackluster, with hair and dirt/mock all in and around the pool. Since I am giving my two cents on this, I would highly recommend a nice outside pool to match the ambience of the hotel. And to also throw in there, the TV lost signal a lot, which was kind of a bummer. We dined at Hard Rock Cafe for both breakfast and dinner and as we ate our food, my brother kept saying he hasn't eaten a bad dish since we arrived so kudos to you guys I totally agree. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel. It is beautiful with all the celebrity pictures and the signature clothing pieces that they have worn being displayed is absolutely awesome to see. I will definitely be back again. I can't wait. So until next time happy hotel hunting.

I'm usually very picky about hotels, but everything felt clean and well kept. The bathroom was especially nice--honestly nicer than my own bathroom. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The location is also extremely convenient, with direct access to the boardwalk and so many restaurants and shops within a short walk. We were mainly there to eat out and go to a concert, and Bally's was perfect for that. Parking was paid using an honors system. We didn't have a ticket, you just tell the attendant how long you stayed. We did show an email we had of confirmation of our stay. Ten dollar parking! This was probably our third time staying in Atlantic City, and this was the nicest hotel experience we've had there. The price was reasonable too. We were very pleased and would definitely stay again. Five stars.

I decided to come to AC today on a Monday because the traffic wasn't bad at all. I first went to the Hard Rock Casino, which was very lively and had lot's of table games open, had a great meal and went to Bally's for old time sake. Wow very dreary and sad not many tables open at all. Not that many people there either. Hard Rock was Glitz and Glamor and Bally's was just sad... I'm saddened to say that I most likely will not be back therein the future. Unlike the Hard Rock Casino there was no fun vibes at all... and I really tried to love the place again..But sadly I can't :(
