    Leaving with all our luggage

I will say that I love that Tropicana has everything inside it's a casino, hotel, has restaurants, clubs, arcade, imax theatre etc.... We stayed in the new tower the Solana Tower & I loved it. It was very clean. HOWEVER, #1 they have no one that can help we had mad luggage (totally our fault) we know for next time we have to consolidate. That's not a hotel you can be have mad luggage with. The concierge was useless we wanted to take the luggage cart they said no a concierge has to do it. NO concierge in sight. We had to lug it ourselves. We had to walk thru the casino thru the quarter to get to our elevators. #2 ALL pools were closed #3 ALL POOLS WERE CLOSED #4 Leaving was worse than coming elevators were closed were walking around lookin dumb trying to find how to leave again and AGAIN NO ONE TO BE FOUND TO HELP & REMEMBER we had all them bags. Ughhh!!!! Il

Spent three nights. My friend got comped. Used her points for the resorts fees and taxes. Do free. Had a great time with friends. Hotel is ok. Rooms were clean. Didn't use any special services. All's good. Completely satisfied with facilities

Great location in center of Atlantic City. They have valet and self-parking. We did valet. I do not recommend. When we picked up our car is was close to an hour. Absolutely insane. This entire complex is a maze. We were trying to find a restaurant and had to ask 3 different people. Ended up having to go to one elevator to get to the 5th floor of another tower then to another elevator in a completely different tower to go down to that lobby and then through several hallways. You will get lost. Check in gets 10 stars! Super convenient and quick. You aren't waiting. Service was great. We were put in the Salona Tower. There's 2 elevators. That's it. Waited in line for 20 minutes just to get on the elevator to go up to our room. Seems like there's a bank of 4 but only 2 are working. This was super inconvenient. Room itself was good. Spacious and all the things you need. Seems as if it has been updated. There's a huge bathroom with a tub, one sink and toilet. The bed was comfy and a king. There's a TV, chair, and small table. I think there was a fridge but not sure as we didn't use. There was an ironing board as well. Safe too. Overall good accommodations. Nothing fancy. Just what you need.

Tropicana Atlantic City is very lively. The "quarter" area is full of restaurants. There is something for everyone to have a great time. There is an IMAX theater, escape room, arcade, salon, many restaurants , and bars. The rooms in the north tower seem older but was comfortable.

The reviews for the Tropicana are certainly a mixed can of worms. Our experience for our 2 night stay was positive. We had rooms in the South tower on the 20th floor. Due to a reservation mix-up we had different rooms for both nights. We got lucky, because both the rooms we were given were huge and had ocean and bay views. We were at a conference with other friends and everyone else's rooms were half the size of ours. The Tropicana is vast and a city unto itself. There are several towers (South, North, Havana, and Chelsea). The Chelsea appears to be the older side of the building and a maze to get to. My recommendation is if you can get a room in the South Tower on an upper level, you shouldn't be disappointed. There are many restaurants, eateries, and bars all within the Tropicana. We actually had all our meals right on the property. There was plenty of entertainment from live bands to dueling pianos. All within the walls of the Tropicana.

Cleanliness of bathroom and having hot water for the shower. Disgusting hair covered soap left in shower. Made me throw a hand towel down on shower floor to take my ice cold shower! NO Hot Water!!!! Happy I brought my own HABA products wasn't touching those filthy dispensers. Call on telephone to complain and get the IVY program telling you how to Check out! Elevator was so slow to 19th floor of Chelsea Tower that there was a long line going down the hall and around the corner on the 5 th floor transfer area. Being handicapped it was quite a hike for me on top of that they charge you a fee for a closer room are you kidding me. Weed being smoked in every area of hotel. The shape of the bathroom made me question the cleanliness of everything. Thick dust accumulated behind hanging mirror. For what they charge it should be cleaner and should be renovated it is old! I wouldn't stay here again!

I can't lie they have everything restaurants, movie theaters, comedy clubs, shopping, poker, slots, night clubs, there is no reason to be bored. I do wish there were more options for slots but I did get to play some games I have not seen before. Looking forward you going back in the summer when there is more people and everything is open. Going during a snow storm probably not the best time to go.

I've stayed at The Tropicana AC multiple times. And although Tropicana is a bit far from the main boardwalk, it makes up for it with a variety of things-to-do. The Tropicana has multiple restaurants and bars with music and pregame spots like Wet Willie's for a quick to-go drink. Perhaps best of all, it has many solid nightclubs with music ranging from top current pop hits to 70s throwbacks. A little bird told me it's very easy to pickup singles at these spots. Price wise, you can often catch bargains for rooms. They are generally clean and comfy if you pay a bit more and choose a renovated tower - Solana Tower in the west wing or the South Tower. On the otherhand, drinks tend to be a bit pricey at the bars and pop clubs. So, I highly recommend pregaming in your room before you head out. Overall, Tropicana is on the top of my list of AC spots when I'm not interested in cruising the boardwalk.

I come Tropicana to eat drink and play. I feel very comfortable as safe while on the casino floor. They have so many excellent Restaurants to choose from PF Changs, Carmines, Cuba Libre and Wild honey just to name a few. They also have a IMAX theater for all your movie needs. Many retail shops to spend some money. Many sweet treats spot located throughout the Casino the oldies but Goodie and my fav is Mrs Fields. For some frozen drinks Wet Willie's.

I booked a one night for me and my wife overnight into valentines day. We stayed at the South Tower. It was not a good stay. It was one of those trips where almost everything was just awful. I do not understand the positive reviews of this place. I booked a penthouse sweet. It wasn't awfully expensive at $350 as the photos online looked like a nice room. When we got there, the check in process was ridiculous. There was no staff at the counter, it was closed. So we had to do kiosk check in. It couldn't find our reservation. I spent 10 minutes doing it over and over again until someone walked by and said "oh, that one is not working, try a different one". Next one worked, and I was hit was an additional $189!!! Not wanting to look like a cheapo on valentines day i just paid it. No idea what it was even for. We walked like 1mile (literally) across the entire complex, through the casino, over the sky bridge to our hotel. Elevators are so old and dingy. We get to the room and its a dump. I'm supposed to walk a mile back to an empty desk to complain? It was Motel6 quality at best. Couldn't wait to go eat. The bright spot of the trip was the food at Chickie and Petes, that was good. Time to gamble....maybe not....the casino was DISGUSTING. There were cigarette trays filled butts everywhere, i don't even think they have a non-smoking section anymore, and if they did, the exhaust fans must not be working because the whole place smells like cigarettes. Empty bottles, cups, trash, all around the machines. And the tables... just as bad. And forget about getting a drink, in 4 hours of play time, we saw servers twice. What a joke. And it was not overly busy, only about half the tables were open. Went back to our room, slept fine, except for the thermostats don't work so you better not care about what temperature you sleep in at night. Checkout day, we had breakfast at Casa Tequila. Best breakfast in AC for sure. Check it out, you'll love it. Time to leave the room and we have 30 minutes before check out. And guess what - 3 of the 4 the elevators aren't working. We waited 20 minutes and since everyone is trying to leave, the one elevator is all jammed up. I'll be damned if they are going to hit me with a late fee so there I go running down 20 flights of a urine smelling, graffiti filled stairwell (don't take your kids in there unless you want to explain to them what the yellow puddles are and what all the sharpie drawn words and pictures mean) and back across the whole complex to check out in time. To add insult to injury, they hit me with a #30 PARKING FEE!!!! I'll obviously never return here. The Tropicana and Atlantic City as a whole is now a dilapidated trash filled dumpster of a town with hookers and empty lots and blown out buildings everywhere.

*****THIS IS A LONG READ*****…read more This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I must say, my check-in experience was horrible! This is my birthday weekend, so I came alone for a little R&R and self-care. I did not expect to be treated as horribly as I was! I arrived about 3:30 and went to the kiosk for express check-in, only to realize I had left my wallet in my car. I went over to the bell hop desk, where I was nicely greeted by Mario, to ask if I could leave my belongings there while I went to retrieve my wallet. Mario explained to me that he could hold my things, but had to grab a cart for them and give me a ticket as standard protocol. While I waited for him to return, the most RUDE, NASTY, ARROGANT, IMPOLITE, IGNORANT male comes to me yelling, "MA'AM YOU CAN'T LEAVE YOUR STUFF HERE!" I told him to calm down and stop talking to me like that! I then tried explaining the situation to him, and what Mario told me, but before I could finish, he cut me off and yells... "Well he's new! That's why he told you to leave your stuff here! I'M THE BELL CAPTAIN! HE SHOULD'VE CAME AND GOT ME! YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE YOUR STUFF HERE, YOU NEED A TICKET!" I asked him why he was yelling! There was no need for that, especially if I'm not speaking to him that way! He replies while flailing his arms around, "OH HERE WE GO! HERRRRRE WE GO!" I tried again to explain that Mario had already told me that, but Mr. "Bell Captain" who I later found out name is Saleem, was so bent on letting me know his position that he couldn't even hear what I was saying. Mario then comes back with the cart, and he proceeds to yell at Mario! "DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN! WHO AM I??? WHO AM I ??" Mario and another Bellman quietly says, "Bell Captain." He then says, "YEAH SO THAT'S WHY Y'ALL CHECK WITH ME FIRST!" I stepped in and told him that if he's a real leader, he doesn't have to blast who he is, (not to mention it was on his name tag) and he should not be embarrassing his employees publicly. He could have talked to him in the back and let him know what he did wrong. I didn't need to see that! I also told him, I'm not sure if he's having a bad day, but there was no reason for him to behave this way! He starts yelling...again...."I'M GREAT! ALL MY BILLS ARE PAID! I GOT MONEY IN THE BANK! I'M GOOD!" I don't understand what that had to do with anything but whatever. He then went back to yelling about him being the Bell Captain and what the protocol was for me leaving my stuff there. CLEARLY he missed that Mario did the right thing from the beginning! Mr. Bell Captain just felt the need to power trip in that moment for whatever reason. I told him he needed to listen and not interrupt when someone is speaking because he would have known that it was handled correctly! He put his hand up and says, I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU!" I looked at Mario, thanked him for helping me and told him he did nothing wrong. This situation made me so angry that I burst into tears! To add insult to injury, after all the drama, I was waiting for over an hour to get my belongings because SOMEONE put the incorrect room number in the system. I found that out because I had to go back down to the lobby to see what was going on with my things. I was late for my dinner reservation, and my night was pretty much ruined. I couldn't fully enjoy my dinner the way I'd hoped to. I actually cried while at the restaurant because I was still so frustrated with how everything had gone. Not only did I come here to rest and relax, I came her to try and release some of my grief from the loss of my Baby Brother. Hopefully my spa experience will be much better. Shout out to "T" whom I believe was the Operations Manager. He helped me calm down and agreed to address Saleem and the issue. However, I wanted this situation to be documented. NOBODY should ever be able to get away with mistreating ANYONE no matter their position. I WILL be pursuing this further until I'm satisfied with the outcome.

The hotel itself is comfortable, well-appointed, and enjoyable. However, it falls well short of the level of refinement, anticipation, and impeccable service found at the finest properties, such as the Encore in Las Vegas. Luxury isn't about the décor alone--it's about making every guest feel valued through flawless execution. The greatest disappointment, however, has been the VIP Online Casino service. A VIP relationship should be built on responsiveness and professionalism. Instead, inquiries often go unanswered for days, creating an experience that feels inattentive and, frankly, inconsistent with the standards expected of a premium loyalty program. ( that's for you James M.) There is tremendous potential here, but premium status should deliver a premium experience--not just in name, but in every interaction. It was our first time staying here and the ambiance is on point. The first thing we noticed when we walked in the hotel was the amazing smell. My brother fell in love with the scent and asked a worker what it was, but unfortunately he didn't know anything. He mentioned it's the cleaning solutions he was using LMAO. No sir it's a hotel scent diffuser just say you don't know. Anywho as we were all checked in and went to the North Tower to our adjoining rooms, we got settled in and admired our rooms which was so spacious and I love that especially the bathroom :) We had an amazing view of the little theme park across from our hotel and to see the Ferris wheel light up at night was such a treat to look at from our beds. We finally went straight to eat. We found a cool buffet restaurant in the hotel that was really darn good. I had a little bit of everything but that New York strip steak with their chimichurri sauce was absolutely divine. I cannot remember the name of the restaurant, but I gave it 10 out of 10. After we ate, we went back upstairs and put on our swimsuits to go to the pool now here is where my review shifts left. I did not care for the pool as beautiful as the hotel is. The pool was lackluster, with hair and dirt/mock all in and around the pool. Since I am giving my two cents on this, I would highly recommend a nice outside pool to match the ambience of the hotel. And to also throw in there, the TV lost signal a lot, which was kind of a bummer. We dined at Hard Rock Cafe for both breakfast and dinner and as we ate our food, my brother kept saying he hasn't eaten a bad dish since we arrived so kudos to you guys I totally agree. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel. It is beautiful with all the celebrity pictures and the signature clothing pieces that they have worn being displayed is absolutely awesome to see. I will definitely be back again. I can't wait. So until next time happy hotel hunting.

I'm usually very picky about hotels, but everything felt clean and well kept. The bathroom was especially nice--honestly nicer than my own bathroom. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The location is also extremely convenient, with direct access to the boardwalk and so many restaurants and shops within a short walk. We were mainly there to eat out and go to a concert, and Bally's was perfect for that. Parking was paid using an honors system. We didn't have a ticket, you just tell the attendant how long you stayed. We did show an email we had of confirmation of our stay. Ten dollar parking! This was probably our third time staying in Atlantic City, and this was the nicest hotel experience we've had there. The price was reasonable too. We were very pleased and would definitely stay again. Five stars.

First off let me say that I was a Big fan of the Bally's Hotel and Casino…read more that said I did come here for over a year I was gambling at the Mohegan Sun Casino which is a much shorter ride for me. I decided to come to AC today on a Monday because the traffic wasn't bad at all. I first went to the Hard Rock Casino, which was very lively and had lot's of table games open, had a great meal and went to Bally's for old time sake. Wow very dreary and sad not many tables open at all. Not that many people there either. Hard Rock was Glitz and Glamor and Bally's was just sad... I'm saddened to say that I most likely will not be back therein the future. Unlike the Hard Rock Casino there was no fun vibes at all... and I really tried to love the place again..But sadly I can't :(

Our marina community enjoyed the convenience of this hotel/casino. Pros: * Nice marina views from the Chart House. Solid happy hour. * Vic and Anthony's Steak House is always consistent. Order their burger! * Great people-watching at the outdoor H20 pool (6th floor) * Lillie's is one of the best Asian restaurants around! Open late on the weekends. * Renovations are underway. New carpets in the lobby and updated guest rooms/hallways. Nice! * The Deck Bar (outdoor bar) - the only non-private bar on the water in Atlantic City * Strong wi-fi in guest rooms Cons: * This is the SMOKIEST casino in Atlantic City. Your hair will reek. * In-room dining only available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. * Aged clientele (lots of seniors). * Barn-style guest room bathroom door that offers zero sound privacy. * The Deck Bar (yes, this is both a pro and con). The bands (and their music) are redundant year after year. You will not get lost in here. The casino floor is relatively small, but that's not necessarily a bad thing! The Golden Nugget will always hold a special place in our boater hearts.
