He assessed the damage and I was able to forward their quote to my insurance company. Tom's personal communication with the insurance company added more to my compensation. Hire CARLI FENCE COMPANY; YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. They know what they are doing. I had Carli Fence remove my old chain link fence and all the bushes along the fence line. They replaced the old fence with a Black Chain Link fence. It's absolutely beautiful. Yes, you heard me correctly.... a Black "Chain Link" fence is beautiful. Their price was reasonable considering you are receiving very high quality material compared to other fence companies. It's a very Solid fence. It's going to outlast me, my children and their children. This fence isn't going anywhere. "Peace of Mind" is what you get when you hire Carli Fence because you know it's going to get done right the first time. They did everything. They called Dig Safe, removed bushes, installed a very sturdy fence and cleaned up after themselves. I got a chain link fence in order to keep small dogs from escaping my yard. After the work was done, I emailed Carli Fence for them to lower the single gate. I was a little concerned that a little dog would go under the opening. They came out the next day to do it. The day after Carli Fence adjusted the gate per my request, I emailed them "again". This time I wanted them to put the single gate back up to its original height because the gate didn't open much when opening it inward due to the angle of my walkway. Carli Fence was at my property at 7:30 in the morning putting the gate back to their "original" position. Now that is GREAT Customer Service. Their fence/gate installation was PERFECT to begin with, but they still came out twice in order to satisfy me, the customer. Bottom Line is "I am a very HAPPY customer. I highly recommend Carli Fence Company, Inc." BRAVO to Ralph, Tom and their Crew for a job well done. P.S. The negative Ratings/Reviews are a Joke. Privacy stockade fence installed in the back yard, and old chain link removed. Makes the yard "feel" larger. Good quality material, installed in a single day. The crew arrived early ready to get to work and get the job done in a single day, and accomplished their goal. Very professional, and spot with the results. Regarding materials, much higher quality than the HD version my neighbor used (where the panels blow/break off every string wind). Not only thicker, but also the way it's assembled, the tongue-and-groove slats are captured top and bottom by rails that extend into the posts. Essentially trapped to prevent loosening or blowing away. Time will tell on how long this fence lasts, suspect it will last many years maintenance free. Had an unreal experience with Carli Fence. Made an appointment for 2pm. Received a single call at 11:30 which I missed while in a meeting. No voicemail, no follow up call, nothing. The person decided to not show up. I called the office at 2:30 asking for an update and said he was likely stuck in traffic and would call me back. Nothing. Called back and found out he had canceled on me. I called him back directly to ask for the reason for automatically cancelling. Said he "knew nothing about it" and was extremely inappropriate with his tone. Hung up on me. Terrible experience and lost a day at work. read more

The installers were courteous and professional. I would highly recommend them. They played no radio there was no loud conversations everything was perfect from start to end. We used Carli Fence last summer to so a Vinyl gate in my driveway. We waited about 3 months for the installation which I completely understood. It was finally installed in August. Unfortunately, my gate lasted less time then amount of time I waited to get ot installed. In October, we had a wind storm and my gate broke, blowing completely forward, and coming off hinge. The VP of the fence company came out to look at it, blaming us for either not latching it or that we may have had an "intruder" push it the wrong direction. He would not replace/repair it with charging me again. He did not stand by his company's work at all. This cost me nearly $3000 and lasted 2 months. I had a previous wood gate in my driveway that weathered every storm for past 10 years. I would not ever recommend this company to anyone. Zero customer service. read more

During morning rush hour in Medford one of their trucks cut off about 30 cars using a right turn only lane and then whipped into the straight lane and forced two cars to drive up on the median to avoid collision (the carli driver didn't even appear to look when cutting in at breakneck speed). When we moved into our house, the backyard was an intimidating project. The previous owners had covered the yard with indoor area rugs to prevent anything from growing, and the backyard was a brown uneven mess when we moved in. We eventually pulled up the old broken slabs of concrete, had a patio installed, raked and raked and raked, smoothed things out, and the defining moment when it truly became our backyard was getting a 6' vinyl privacy fence installed by Carli Fence. Our next-door neighbors have had work done twice by Carli. The first time, the workers were blasting shock-rock radio at top volume (in our very quiet, very residential neighborhood). It was so loud (radio, not equipment) that I couldn't even have a work Skype call (from inside my house, windows up). I went out and asked them to turn it down. They said, "yeah sure" with an eye roll. When the volume didn't go down, I called their main office. A few minutes later, the radio was off. Whew! And then I heard one yell to the other, "yo what happened to the radio?" And the other replied, "some bitch* ratted us out." I heard all of that from inside my house. Last week the neighbors had more work done. Even though the neighbor's yard has at least 3 car lengths of space to park, they parked a huge piece of equipment behind our car, blocking our driveway. My partner went out with the dogs and said, "I am leaving in 10 minutes; I need you to move this so I can leave." When she came back from the walk and saw us still blocked in, she reminded them that she needed to leave for work. He gave her attitude and then moved it into the cut-out parking spot in front of our garden. They parked one of the trucks literally in the middle of the street all day even though there was plenty of other space to park. They parked another truck so it hung over our driveway by a foot (again, even though there was plenty of other space to park). I called the office, got no empathy or sense of concern. I posted my experience to Facebook and got a private message from a "Tommy Carli" telling me that I had to take down my own Facebook post - in the message he did not apologize for the inconvenience or the rudeness of his crew. So though they haven't installed a fence *for us* I can attest to the fact that they are batting 2/2 when it comes to being inconsiderate to neighbors while doing work in the neighborhood. If you care about your neighbors or have good relationships, this may be something to consider. *He actually used a more insulting word than this. read more

I had a great experience with Carli Fence. They came out to give me an quote for installing a new ally door, came back a few weeks later & installed it w/ all new hardware. The guys were very nice, answered my questions & finished up fast. Later the owner called to make sure I was happy with the job. A few weeks later a storm blew down the beat-up fence in my backyard, I called back, got another reasonable quote, and in less than a week the guys were back putting up a new fence. I have however experienced road rage (cursing, making gestures, yelling etc) from a man driving a Carli fence truck because I did not let him go when I had the right away. I have read other reviews that spoke about the rude customer service and demeanor of these workers, so this action doesn't surprise me. What a horrible way to represent the company you work for! I can confirm all the reviews of the owners being the lowest of the low. Tom Carli is also a landlord (slumlord) whom I had the misfortune of renting from a month before the pandemic hit and I got Covid. By November I was disabled from long term symptoms, come January 2021, I needed rental assistance for the first time in my life. He was beyond unreasonable while waiting for the assistance to come through. This man tracked down family members and threatened to take them all to court. He took the washer and dryer out of the house and had my car towed from the driveway. When I challenged him on the legality it got worse. Both he and his wife called/texted near daily calling me obscene names. Let himself in without notice. Became obvious his goal was to bully me out rather than go through a long eviction process. In the end it worked. I chose to leave to save my sanity while he collected $7500 of government funds on an empty apartment in my name. That is who these people are. My neighbor had a fence reinstalled and in the process Carli Fence Co cut down several branches and even a whole tree on our side of the fence. When I asked them if they were going to remove the tree and branches form our lawn they basically acted like it wasn't their problem and refused, saying they only did fences and this was a landscaping issue. today i got a call from a woman from carli fence to set up an appointment for fence work. she sounded very upset and aggravated. must be a bad day for her. after hearing her in the background yelling at someone. she finally had an appointment date for me and that was it, but i think i made the biggest mistake ever. afterward i kindly ask a curious question about deck installation, which is one of the job i needed done. man, i got an ear full. the woman just snapped and yelled at me. "are you looking for deck job or fence job! cause we dont do deck here! do you understand me! do you want us to come out for the appointment or not!" and i said to her, "yes i understand that, it was just a curious question and why are you yelling at me?" I pretty much told her to forget the appointment, because i dont like you yelling at me, and i'll try some where else. i hope the owner is going to read this review. i was really looking forward to have carli fence look at the job at my house. im not saying carli fence does bad work or anything, because i never had any work done by them. im saying a person like that should not be in the position to deal with telephones or even customers. read more
