He also owns One Key Escrow and the customer service was the worst I've experiened in years. Major delays, poor communication, last minute action itmes for me with critical information missing. This caused me to make bad choices that cost me major headachs and long delays. I was the manager between the real estate agent, finacne companies and the Excrow company, not the customer. The final straw that pushed me to write this, I asked Harout to please work with my finance company, the Bank that they used to issue my final check to get the funds release sonner than 7 to 10 days. Had I gotten the account information from One Key Escrow correctly I could have wired the funds and there would have been no delay. Harout was uncooperative and the bank refuesed to release the funds early. This delayed the purchase of our new home by two weeks and caused a lot of problems for my family, the Sellers Family and the real estate agent that was tying to manage all of this. When I told him I wanted to talk to him on the phone and ask him some questions about some things on the lease, he told me that he had other people interested in the apartment and would be happy to move on to someone else. I was just trying to do my due diligence. We were approved and loved the unit! But Todd's rude bedside manner was such a turn off, we didn't trust him enough to do the deal. Renter beware. Had to block his cell after he was rude to my wife EDIT: As you can see below, we got a response. As you can see, he wrote, " On a Sunday while I was spending time with my family, the reviewer wanted me to interrupt my day for a phone call after I had already answered more than 25 questions by email." Talk about comically misleading. First of all, it wasn't 25 questions. Yes we had questions (getting answers seemed to be triggering for Todd) but we also had REVISIONS. Many. Secondly, you'll see he directly quoted me ("See you on Yelp." Uh, yeah, Todd. That's what Yelp is for.), so here's a directly quoted exchange: ALEX: Hey Todd. You around today to discuss the lease? Or should it wait til tomorrow. Sorry to bug on a Sunday TODD: Can discuss as long as it's text or email. ALEX: It can wait til tomorrow then. I'd rather it be a call. Thank you. TODD: We need to get this wrapped up if you guys are serious about the unit. In addition to the other top applicant I'm still getting none stop calls and requests to show. Landlord is happy with either but your credit is higher than the other. But if you guys aren't happy with the terms we can move on to them. Yo. What?! I did not "interrupt [his] day for a phone call." I LITERALLY told him twice it could wait until Monday. And the second time I did (trying to accommodate HIS schedules, not mine), he burst into a bullying tirade that made it clear he was not interested in hearing what I had to say. Here's another direct quote when we had questions about the extreme move-in costs for a $3500 apartment. "So instead of you writing a check to the landlord for 11,500 and then her having to cut me a check for my commission, we conveniently pass the hassle on to you as the tenant." COOL!!! Amazing that he would say in his response to me that he represents that landlord not the tenants. He represents the landlord but he makes sure the tenants are the ones that pay him. GREAT STUFF, TODD! I stand by my review. Todd was needlessly aggressive when we had innocent questions. I would rather continue my apartment search then sign a legally binding contract that this guy had anything to do with. Oh, and Todd's snippy comment about his job being to "weed out weak candidates," why did you offer it to us? We walked away, not you. We both have credit scores in the 800s. Yeah, we're terrible candidates. Finally, I have screengrabs of all these quotes.
